Filipino actress Winwyn Marquez is having fun at the beach, playing around and soaking up the sun. Marquez, 31, shared a cute video of herself dancing on the sand in a patterned bathing suit with tassels on top. “Yes to Vitamin Sea..🌞⛱️,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Marquez stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Disciplined About Diet

Marquez is sensible in her approach to diet and wellness. “I eat well and work out and I sometimes eat whatever and indulge in whatever,” she says. “I’m not the type who will starve herself to death to maintain her body. I have discipline and if you have that, you know how you can control yourself from not eating fast food or unhealthy food, and not be a couch potato.”

2. Personal Trainer

Marquez works out with a personal trainer at the gym, which is a great way to stay accountable and make progress. “Personal trainers are experts at understanding where their clients are at and what's appropriate for them,” says the Southern California Health Institute. “For example, if you're new to exercise, your personal trainer won't give you the same regimen that someone with years of experience would do.”

3. She’s a Foodie

Marquez genuinely loves food, especially traditional Filipino dishes. “I love bacon and eggs!” she says. “Well, who doesn't? I eat anything but I always have an appetite for anything home cooked. Give me sinigang [sour soup with pork], stew, tinola [chicken soup dish] or bopis [spicy pork or beef lungs] any time of the day and I'll eat it in a minute.”

4. Her Beauty Secrets

Marquez’s beauty and health mantra is all about moving. “I regularly go to a dermatologist and get a facial every month,” she says. “I think it helps that they extract the dirt on my face that my cleanser can’t reach. Another is, I have an active lifestyle; sweating helps and the results are very satisfying. Move and don’t be lazy. Dance, go to the gym, and maybe have a sauna session. Being active helps skin, body and mind a lot.”

5. She Has PCOS

Marquez has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). "I have regular check-ups,” she says. "I had a hard time adjusting to my body changing since I gained a few pounds, [I felt] bloated which is uncomfortable sometimes, mood swings, it really depends. You just have to find the right balance...It's hard to adjust but with the help of people, eventually, you can fight it."

5. She Gets Her Vitamin D

Get at least 10 minutes of sun each day. “Vitamin D insufficiency affects almost 50% of the population worldwide. An estimated 1 billion people worldwide, across all ethnicities and age groups, have a vitamin D deficiency (VDD). This pandemic of hypovitaminosis D can mainly be attributed to lifestyle (for example, reduced outdoor activities) and environmental (for example, air pollution) factors that reduce exposure to sunlight, which is required for ultraviolet-B (UVB)-induced vitamin D production in the skin,” says one study.

1. She Loves to Swim

Evelin-VillegasEvelin Villegas/Instagram

Evelin is often posting from the beach, in the water. “It’s widely known that swimming is good exercise. Those who regularly swim, even after just a short period of time, can see improvements in:

  • How much blood is pumped out of the heart on a minute-to-minute basis.
  • How your body is able to use the oxygen you breathe from the air.
  • Lower heart rates.
  • Better blood pressure.
  • Improved breathing.
  • Improved circulation,” says the Cleveland Clinic.

2. She Gets Her Vitamin D

Evelin-Villegas-1Evelin Villegas/Instagram

Evelin is often seen tanning. If you do so responsibly, 10 to 15 mins of sun per day can be good for you, as a little vitamin D is necessary. “Vitamin D (also referred to as ‘calciferol’) is a fat-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in a few foods, added to others, and available as a dietary supplement. It is also produced endogenously when ultraviolet (UV) rays from sunlight strike the skin and trigger vitamin D synthesis,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Vitamin D obtained from sun exposure, foods, and supplements is biologically inert and must undergo two hydroxylations in the body for activation.”

3. She Believes in Self Love

Evelin-Villegas-2Evelin Villegas/Instagram

“I want you to go to a mirror, look at yourself, and find out what is the favorite part of your body. What makes you feel” proud “and makes you feel pretty. Mine, for example, are these dots on my chest,” she posted once, “If we feel pretty outside we feel pretty inside, if we feel pretty inside, we feel pretty outside.”

4. She Loves to Travel Around

Evelin-Villegas-3Evelin Villegas/Instagram

“Perfect for stretching your limbs between flights, a growing number of airports are now carving out space for in-terminal yoga rooms. Some even offer virtual golf. If you have serious time to kill, it may be worth exploring options for a full gym workout. A few airports feature designated gyms and some airport hotels offer day passes for a small fee. Search online for ‘airport gyms’ to find current offerings,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Deals With Anxiety and Depression

Evelin-Villegas-4Evelin Villegas/Instagram

"Do you take medicine for anxiety or depression,” asked one fan during an Instagram Q+A. Evelin said she has "anxiety everyday” and that it was "constant" at that time. "I pull through and I'm happy of what I've been achieving." She also mentioned going to therapy. “During psychotherapy, you learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Psychotherapy helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Wanda Nara, the Argentine actress and glamour model, is enjoying the weekend in a swimsuit. “Sin miedo a nada ❤️,” she captioned it. (Rough translation: "Without Fear of Anything.”) The mother of 5 children is often posing for special selfies and sharing them with her 13.5 million fans. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Wanda Nara stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s Often in the Gym

Wanda is often sharing selfies from her gym. “The benefits of exercise may sound too good to be true, but decades of solid science confirm that exercise improves health and can extend your life. Adding as little as half an hour of moderately intense physical activity to your day can help you avoid a host of serious ailments, including heart disease, diabetes, depression, and several types of cancer, particularly breast and colon cancers. Regular exercise can also help you sleep better, reduce stress, control your weight, brighten your mood, and sharpen your mental functioning,” says Harvard Health.

2. She Loves the Beach

Wanda once posed on the beach in Africa. “Enamorada de este lugar 🌞,” she captioned it. Consider the health benefits of deep sea water. “Deep sea water (DSW) commonly refers to a body of seawater that is pumped up from a depth of over 200 m. It is usually associated with the following characteristics: low temperature, high purity, and being rich with nutrients, namely, beneficial elements, which include magnesium, calcium, potassium, chromium, selenium, zinc, and vanadium. Less photosynthesis of plant planktons, consumption of nutrients, and organic decomposition have caused lots of nutrients to remain there. Due to this, DSW has potential to become a good source for health. Research has proven that DSW can help overcome health problems especially related to lifestyle-associated diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, and skin problems,” says one study.

3. She Loves to Travel

“ROMA = AMOR Que bello tornare a questa città che io Amo così tanto ❤️,” she once captioned a photo of her getting into a plane. “Neuroscientists have found that chronic exposure to stress can alter your brain structure and bring on anxiety and depression. When you take a vacation, feelings of calm arise and relieve stress, which allows the body and mind to heal in ways that it couldn't if it were still under pressure,” says Allina Health.

4. She Likes Getting Sun

“Vitamin D is another health benefit given to us by our oldest pal in the sky. Vitamin D plays a big role in bone health and low Vitamin D levels have been linked to rickets in children and bone diseases like osteoporosis. So how much sun do you need to get enough Vitamin D? It only takes 5-15 minutes of sunlight exposure on your arms, hands and face to get your daily value. The darker your complexion, the more time in the sun. Forget choking down a chalky vitamin every morning, just get outside for a bit and let the sun do its thing,” says SCL Health.

5. She Likes Watermelon

“Watermelon is an excellent source of vitamin C and a very good source of vitamin A, particularly through its concentration of beta-carotene. Vitamins A and C are antioxidants that may reduce your risk of heart disease and certain cancers. Vitamin A helps maintain eye health. Vitamin C helps protect skin from bruising; helps heal cuts and keeps gums healthy. Eating foods with vitamin C helps the body absorb iron. Watermelon also provides potassium and magnesium. Potassium helps maintain healthy blood pressure, and magnesium help build and maintain strong bones,” says U of A.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Images of a woman saying no to plastic surgery.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
