1. She Eats Clean 70 Percent of the Time

Carmella doesn’t follow a specific diet, but focuses on clean eating. “I try to eat clean 70% of the time; fruits, veggies, nuts etc. The other 30% of the time I eat what I want. It’s important not to deprive yourself because then you overindulge when you give in. At least that’s how it works for me. So now I’m finally at a point in my life where if I want to eat something, I will. Life it too short not to enjoy the wine!” she told Parade. “All good things are ok in moderation!”

2. She Eats Healthy Takeouts

Carmella admits that she eats a lot of takeout, but manages to make it healthy. “I am on the road five days a week. It’s super difficult to meal prep, then take everything on the road when I’m constantly on airplanes and don’t get to hotels until 2 a.m. I try to find a Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or any natural market I can when I’m on the road. When I’m in pinch, I rely on egg white bites from Starbucks. One of my favorite go-to snacks is fresh fruit,” she told Parade.

3. She Does “Empty Stomach Cardio” and Weight Trains

“I do 30 minutes of empty stomach cardio on the bike or treadmill in the morning. I try to weight train 4-5 days a week. When I’m home, I train with my personal trainer and really try to ramp up my workouts because it’s hard to get them in on the road and really push myself when I’m alone and tired,” she told Parade about her workout routine.

4. She Focuses On Being Healthy, Not Skinny

“I focus on being healthy,” she told Parade about her goals. “For a long time I looked in the mirror and hated what I saw. As a dancer, I always struggled with my weight and not thinking I was thin enough. I look back at pictures and I was rail thin but I put so much pressure on myself to look a certain way. That mentality followed me well into my adult life. It wasn’t until the last few years that I finally realized being healthy is so much more important than being skinny. It’s important to find a healthy balance of being fit and being mentally ok with how you look. Sure there are days I feel better or worse about my body than others, but ultimately its important to be healthy and strong.Every day I look at my body and thank God for making me healthy. My body is my only tool for work. I need to take care of it or else I can’t perform my job properly. If I don’t treat it right or respect it, then I have no job. It’s been a long journey, but I’ve learned to love my body and what it does for me.”

5. She Meditates

Carmella takes care of her mind as well. “Meditation is something I’ve incorporated into my daily routine as well. It keeps my mind right and gets me mentally prepared for my day or helps me reflect on it before I go to sleep,” she told Parade.

Chelsea Green is a successful wrestler, known for her time with WWE. She’s also unafraid to show off her incredible figure on Instagram. Green recently posted a beach photo from Florida. In it, she posed in a tan one piece with cut outs. How does she stay so fit? 1. She’s A Professional Wrestler

Being a WWE superstar, a lot of Green’s workouts comes from wrestling. She tells Fitness Gurls, “I enjoy the physicality of being a wrestler. The bumps & bruises I get are the best part of my job. I look at those like I would’ve looked at a trophy for a kickass soccer game, or a medal for winning the 100m race.

2. She’s Motivated

When it comes to working out, Green is extremely motivated. She tells Fitness Gurls, “I’ve also always loved working out and seeing my body change, so now to be able to do that and be rewarded is amazing. The reward being, seeing myself on TV weekly!”

3. She Has A Supportive Family

Green says that her family helps her stay on track and stay committed to things. “Once I made the decision to pursue wrestling, I made sure to tell all my family and friends so that I was held accountable,” she says to Fitness Gurls. “Once you tell them something as crazy as that, you better not quit!”

4. She Works Out On A Regular Basis

Green tells Fitness Gurls that she is consistent when it comes to wellness. “In wrestling, we have no offseason. So unlike most sports, we don’t have time to binge eat or to take vacations from the gym. That in itself is a blessing and a curse. I constantly stay in the gym and make sure that my workout routines are ones that I can uphold 24/7 as opposed to fad diets. With that being said, there are plenty of injuries that come with my job. I’ve learned to workout around those, while also knowing when to just REST.”

5. She Swims

Green loves to go swimming as a way to stay in shape. She posts a lot of photos of herself in the water on Instagram. When she went on a trip to the Maldives, she posted this photo of herself in an outdoor pool. She captioned the post, “No caption can do this view justice!”

In an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, Natalya Neidhart opened up about what she eats before a match. “I went to the Sky Lounge in the LaGuardia airport and had a little bit of Greek yogurt and a cappuccino with skim milk. I always like to have a little bit of coffee in the morning — it’s more of a ritual for me than the taste. I like to sit and have 15 minutes to myself to just drink my coffee and reflect and think about what my day is going to be like. They served a breakfast burrito on the plane. To be brutally honest, I don’t really love airplane food, but no matter what, you can make something out of nothing. I had a couple of bites, that that way I could feel like I was getting a little bit without all the calories. Then I just had water on the plane. Whenever I travel I try to hydrate as much as possible. I hate that dehydrated feeling, it makes me super tired. They also served some fresh fruit so I had a little bit of that. That way when I landed I didn’t feel too bloated or heavy.”

I’m not against the losing weight part. But, I’m against calling people out for it. And I’m against people who call themselves fans thinking it is okay to criticize a woman’s body because it is more than doing squats. I do squats every day. It is a mental game as well. It is so much more than just working out. You know what I mean?”

14. Charlotte Flair

I never believed that I could be on TV, or be a performer, or any of those things … Why did I tell myself that for so many years? And now, here I am, the most decorated women’s champion of all-time. Why do we tell ourselves that we can’t do something? It’s because we are scared of it. So, do what you are scared of. That biggest fear that you have…do that!”

All of those things started to weigh heavy on me but now I don’t drink any alcohol. I’ve noticed an immense difference. My workouts and everything has totally changed.”

Carmella is a WWE wrestler who loves spending quality time with her family. Recently, she shared some heartwarming highlights on Instagram, showcasing special moments with her kids and parents. The post, titled “Making memories,” captures her love for both her career and her family. Carmella, whose real name is Leah Van Dale, has spoken openly about her passion for wrestling and performing. As a former dancer and NBA cheerleader, she enjoys the energy of the crowd and the thrill of performing live. Her dedication to fitness and wellness has been a consistent theme throughout her life, thanks to her upbringing in a health-conscious family. With a balanced approach to her diet and fitness routine, Carmella strives to maintain her physical and mental well-being while pursuing her career and making time for family.

1. She Loves What She Does

Carmella shared what she loves about being a WWE wrestler with Muscle and Fitness. “I was a dancer for over 20 years. And then I was in the NBA itself, and it was more to me about performing. I love the feeling of being in front of a live crowd, and performing and just kind of letting loose and getting the crowd involved, and I got to perform at the Superbowl, and at the Staples Center, you know at the Lakers game, which was amazing. You know, being in front of those crowds, there’s celebrities everywhere, it’s just like this big show I’m putting on every single night. I love the energy of the crowd. So to be able to be in the WWE and do that, and now it’s not just a team, now it’s just me, it’s just Carmella! [laughs] So I really strive off that and I really enjoy it.”

2. She’s Consistent

Carmella also tells Muscle and Fitness that she’s consistent with her wellness routine. “One thing that I’m super fortunate of, I grew up in a house where it was all about health and fitness, my dad was wrestler, he was a boxer, he’s always been into working out, and so I was the only kid in the first grade that got carrot sticks at school instead of chips. So, luckily enough it’s been instilled in me from a very young age, how important like a healthy and fit life style is. So for me it’s not an option to not be in shape and to not work out. I just always try to make time for it and strength train four or five days a week and I’m always eating clean, so don’t get me wrong though I love a good pizza and some wings every now and then.”

3. She Orders Healthy Food

Boston,,Ma,,Usa,-,June,30,,2022:,Trader,Joe's,SignShutterstock

When Carmella is ordering food, she knows what the healthy options are. “My entire life is takeout,” she told Parade. One of my favorite go-to snacks is fresh fruit.”

4. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Carmella tells Parade that she does a lot of different things to stay in shape. “When I’m on the road, I do 30 minutes of empty stomach cardio on the bike or treadmill in the morning. I try to weight train 4-5 days a week. When I’m home, I train with my personal trainer and really try to ramp up my workouts because it’s hard to get them in on the road and really push myself when I’m alone and tired.”

5. She Doesn’t Deprive Herself

While Carmella eats healthy, she doesn’t like to deprive herself. “I don’t follow a specific diet,” she told Parade. “I try to eat clean 70% of the time; fruits, veggies, nuts etc. The other 30% of the time I eat what I want. It’s important not to deprive yourself because then you overindulge when you give in. At least that’s how it works for me. So now I’m finally at a point in my life where if I want to eat something, I will.”

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Supports Animals

Romani has her own charity, Help Miami Cats. She talked about how she started this in the caption of this Instagram post. “❤️ Guys!!!! I have always loved cats and had many growing up. When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
