1. Find a Workout Buddy

Natalya told the Calgary Sun that during the pandemic, it was challenging for her to find motivation to exercise. “I’m guilty as anyone of procrastinating when I don’t have a set schedule to follow. For me, I need accountability, which is why I grab a partner. My mom, sister, friends, my husband, heck even my cat have all joined me for some pretty awesome workouts! When you have a partner and your sweat session is like an appointment you have to ‘show up for,’ you won’t miss a workout! These are tools I use to keep me on track, when life sometimes life feels ‘out of our hands,’” she said.

2. Do Workouts Everywhere

Natalya doesn’t need a gym to break a sweat. “Not all of us have the resources to build a garage gym or personal home gym. You can do a workout anywhere!” she told the Calgary Sun. “I love using a deck of cards and my own body weight. There’s also nothing like throwing on a pair of sneakers, hitting the ground running (or walking!), and exploring a new trail or bike path. My favorite place in the world to run outside is along the Bow River when I’m visiting Calgary. It has a heavenly view of the Rocky Mountains. I can’t wait until I can go back to Calgary and explore my favorite trails once again.”

3. Keep Workouts Fun

Natalya likes to keep her workouts fun and interesting, changing them up for her body’s needs. “It’s not always about survival of the fittest, it’s often more about who can adapt to the changes in front of them. And trust me, your body always adapts. That is why you have to keep it fun so your body never gets used to the same things and you see better results,” she told the Calgary Sun.

4. Listen to Your Body

2021 Annual Salute To Women In Sports Awards GalaJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Natalya suggests listening to your body – when it comes to eating or exercising. “I remember former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre giving me fitness advice many years ago that’s stuck with me today. ‘Trust the process. Trust your body. Trust yourself!’ Drew McIntyre not only inspires me in the ring but also in the way he takes such good care of his body. I’ve found that I get better results by listening to my body. When I’m hungry, I eat. When I’m tired, I rest,” she told the Calgary Sun.

5. It’s 90 Percent Diet

While exercise is important, Natalya maintains that diet should be your number one focus if you want to get in shape. “The thing about WWE is we’re on year-round, there’s no off-season. So bodybuilders can diet down for a show, and then eat normally, but we have to maintain our physiques 365 days a year,” she says. “And 90 percent of the struggle is in the diet. I love to exercise, but you can’t out work a bad diet. If you’re not eating properly, than you’re definitely not going to look your best,” she told People.

6. Do Exercises with Real Benefits

Natalya revealed to Women’s Health that her go-to exercises are squats, lunges, and Olympic lifts, clean and jerks, push presses, deadlifts, and snatches. But her favorite gym move is heavy squats. "These exercises help me so much with my in ring performance because I use my legs a lot for strength," she explained. "When I power-bomb [fellow Superstar] Charlotte Flair, I know I can do it with ease, because my front squat game is strong. Squats also keep me curvy... and I'm all about that!" She also loves to run. "If I have a good running partner, I can run for hours."

1. Morning Coffee Ritual

Neidhart starts the day with a cappuccino made with skim milk. “I always like to have a little bit of coffee in the morning — it’s more of a ritual for me than the taste,” she says. “I like to sit and have 15 minutes to myself to just drink my coffee and reflect and think about what my day is going to be like.”

2. Meal Delivery Services

2021 Annual Salute To Women In Sports Awards GalaJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Neidhart uses meal delivery services for convenience. “Every week I get a meal prep kit from a company that a lot of WWE superstars use — it’s called Nutrition Solutions,” she says. “They give me about eight meals a week. My husband and I are both on the road a lot so we try to share them. One meal will have like 350 calories in it and will be something like turkey breast with veggies and a little bit of rice. I love having those because it saves me from going to the grocery store every day when I need to eat fresh but it also helps me keep track of my calories, because calories add up!”

3. Olympic Lifting

Neidhart focuses on Olympic lifting at the gym. “You’re lifting weight off the ground and you’re throwing it up, so you’re giving your body a whole-body workout,” she says. “And it definitely imitates us throwing people down in the ring!”

4. Walking and Running

Neidhart doesn’t just work out at the gym—she loves being outdoors in nature. “Not all of us have the resources to build a garage gym or personal home gym,” she says. “You can do a workout anywhere! 1. She’s Consistent

Neidhart has to stay consistent for her job. She tells People, “The thing about WWE is we’re on year-round, there’s no off-season. So bodybuilders can diet down for a show, and then eat normally, but we have to maintain our physiques 365 days a year.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Neidhart says that the most important thing in her wellness routine is her diet. She explained to People, “90 percent of the struggle is in the diet. I love to exercise, but you can’t out work a bad diet. If you’re not eating properly, than you’re definitely not going to look your best.”

3. She Works Out With Others

NatalyaNeidhart1Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

In a guest post for the Calgary Sun, Neidhart opened up about her approach to wellness. She says that one of her secrets to working out on a regular basis is having someone else with her. “I’m guilty as anyone of procrastinating when I don’t have a set schedule to follow. For me, I need accountability, which is why I grab a partner. My mom, sister, friends, my husband, heck even my cat have all joined me for some pretty awesome workouts! When you have a partner and your sweat session is like an appointment you have to ‘show up for,’ you won’t miss a workout!”

4. She Doesn’t Pressure Herself

NatalyaNeidhart2Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

While Neidhart has to work out regularly, she tells the Calgary Sun that she doesn’t beat herself up too much. “During these times especially, be kind to yourself. I used to be strict about making sure I worked out for a certain amount of time, and I wouldn’t bend on it. ‘I have to do an hour of cardio or else!’ Now I say, ‘I need to do something to move my body today and just get started. I’ll see how I feel and go from there!’ Or when I jump on a scale and I don’t like the number, this used to be something I’d beat myself up over. The last year has taught me a lot about patience, perseverance and kindness. Talk to yourself like you’re talking to someone you love!”

5. She Works Out Anywhere

NatalyaNeidhart4Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

Neidhart doesn’t always go to the gym to work out. She tells the Calgary Sun that she is able to work out in any location. Neidhart says that this was particularly important in the pandemic.“Not all of us have the resources to build a garage gym or personal home gym. You can do a workout anywhere! I love using a deck of cards and my own body weight.”

WWE star Natalya Neidhart gave a very sweet shout out to one of her favorite fellow wrestlers—Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Neidhart, 41, shared a picture of herself standing next to Johnson, both wearing black workout gear. “Just a couple of third generation wrestlers!! I know you’re the ultimate bad guy at work, but thank you for always being so kind and warm to me and my entire family, @therock. During highs and lows, you’ve always made the time to show you care, no matter how busy you are. I’m always inspired by your work ethic and how genuine you are,” she captioned the post. Neidhart works hard to stay fighting fit every day—here’s what her diet, training, and wellness regimen looks like.

1. Consistency Is Key

Natalya.Neidhart.1Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

Neidhart tries to stay consistent with her workouts and training, even when she doesn’t have a lot of time. “I try to, when I feel good…if I have lots of time, of course I take advantage of it, but sometimes I only have 30 minutes to get a workout in—and 30 minutes is better than nothing,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “I actually have a world class coach that works with me daily. Even when I’m on the road I have a program that he set up, and he actually designed an app that helps a lot of us superstars here at the WWE, like 20 of us actually go work out through him.”

2. Organic Whole Foods

Healthy,Super,Food,Concept,With,Vegetables,,Fruit,,Herbs,,Spice,AndShutterstock

Neidhart enjoys a balanced, organic whole foods diet. “I firmly believe in keeping it simple… And this applies to my life inside the ring and out!” she told OK! “I eat foods that grow on trees, come from the earth, swim in the ocean and run across grass lol! I like to eat clean and organically (and organic doesn't mean buying food from an organic section at the grocery store!) organic means sticking with the basics, sticking with foods that aren't processed.”

3. Heavy Squats and Running

Natalya.Neidhart.3Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

Neidhart’s favorite exercises are heavy squats and running. "These exercises help me so much with my in ring performance because I use my legs a lot for strength," she told Women’s Health. "When I power-bomb [fellow Superstar] Charlotte Flair, I know I can do it with ease, because my front squat game is strong. Squats also keep me curvy... and I'm all about that!"

4. Summer Body Tips

Natalya.Neidhart.4Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

Neidhart’s tips for a strong physique is to be mindful of nutrition and drink plenty of water. “For an amazing summer body, it's important to hydrate, take multivitamins to make sure you are getting extra nutrients, and fuel yourself multiple times throughout the day so you never feel deprived,” she told OK!. “A lot of people eat more, when they’re really actually thirsty. Sometimes I like to carry around a gallon of water with me… Just to see if I can drink the whole thing. Make it a contest with yourself!”

5. No Shortcuts

Natalya.Neidhart.5Natalya Neidhart/Instagram

Neidhart emphasizes how hard she and her fellow fighters work. “You gotta do the work. I’m sorry, there is no shortcut,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “There is no shortcut. Especially when you’re in WWE, us girls we can’t be fragile. We can’t be scrawny. We gotta be strong. Even our littler competitors like Sasha or Alexa or Carmella, these girls are strong and tough. They may be small, but they’re strong. They can go in the gym and they kick some serious butt in the gym and in the ring. That’s what we have to do for our careers.”

In the electrifying realm of WWE's NXT, Cora Jade emerges as a force to reckon with, captivating both the ring and fans' hearts. The path to NXT wasn't an easy one, as she has revealed in recent videos. With unwavering determination, she turned her childhood dream into reality, making her mark in the Dusty Classic. From grueling tryouts under the guidance of wrestling legends to navigating the love-hate relationship with passionate fans, Jade's journey is nothing short of remarkable. Amid the whirlwind rise to fame, she remains grounded, embracing the surreal moments and eagerly anticipating the future of WWE. Here’s a roundup of her latest reflections, inspired by a new swimsuit photo she posted saying, “I’m busy.”

1. Here’s how She Got Into NXT

How did she get into NXT? “Well, I started watching the WWE product when I was about eight years old because my dad and my younger brother watched it together and I was just a huge fan of it. So as soon as I saw it, I was like, this is what I want to do,” she said on the Mark Moses Show. “ So when I was about 15, 16, I started wrestling on the independent circuit around the country, but I started in Chicago because that's where I'm from. And then in the pandemic around towards the end of 2020, I got an email to come do a tryout and I did the tryout in October of 2020 and then made my debut in the Dusty Classic a few months later in January of ’21. So it's been a crazy ride, but that was how I got started and I've loved it every step of the way.”

2. Her Tryout for NXT Was Tough

Her tryout “was definitely probably one of the hardest things I've ever done,” she told Mark Moses. “But luckily one of my trainers, Kevin Quinn, he trained CM Punk, Lita, John Cena. He had a hand in so many people in wrestling and he had been to Japan and done a bunch of stuff. He ran a training school, so he would put us through these Sunday training cardio days we would call 'em, and it was just so much conditioning and it would be so much, and it was so at the time exhausting. But I think that really prepared me for the tryout because he kind of pushed us as much as we could be pushed then. So it made me feel like I could do anything. So when it came time for the tryout, I felt very prepared and everything I had down pat, I was ready to—all the drills had, I had already done them with my trainer before, so I felt like he really prepared me the best way possible. But it's so mentally and physically exhausting and just you got to be sharp in your mind and in your physical movements and everything was the craziest thing and the hardest thing I've ever done. But at the same time, I felt like I came in very prepared. I wanted to be here so bad. I knew what it took to get here.”

3. It’s a Love-Hate Relationship With Fans Sometimes

The WWE “has some of the most passionate fans I've ever witnessed in my life, but especially the NXT fans who are here, it's pretty much probably the same group of people that are here every week,” she told Moses. “They're very dedicated and they're super into it and they're a very solid fan base, so they're very passionate about who they love and who they hate. So sometimes it's a love-hate relationship.”

4. Sometimes it Feels Like a Dream

“It's definitely crazy,” she says of her rise to fame on Fightful Wrestling With Sean Ross Sapp. “Sometimes I feel like I have to kind of pull myself out of it and kind realize what I'm doing because I feel like it all moves so fast and I'm a very stressed person. I want everything to be like I'm a perfectionist and I want everything to be perfect. So sometimes I got to step back and be like, this is really cool. Literally I'm doing everything I dreamed of when I was eight years old. I literally played this out in my head and it's unfolding in front of me, so I'm very lucky and very grateful. But it is crazy sometimes to step back and be like, this is actually happening.”

5. ”Still Going Strong”

“I think 2.0 really opened up a lot of opportunities for younger people like myself, and I think that change is kind of really what helped me be able to grow and have all these opportunities. So I'm so grateful for that. But now like you said, we're moving in a bit of a different, more neutral direction, and I don't know what the future holds, but I feel like WWE is a very exciting place right now. So I can only imagine that it's only up from here and I can't wait to see what this next era is. And generation of Jade will still be going strong no matter what.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Images of a woman saying no to plastic surgery.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
