Zara McDermott, of Love Island and Made in Chelsea, is on vacation in Ibiza, Spain. She just hit the city’s incredible beaches, and she made sure to get some photos. In her newest Instagram post, McDermott posed in a yellow patterned bathing suit. She captioned the post, “before lunch > lunch (best meal we’ve EVER HAD) > after lunch 😂🙈😝👙 So today we spend the day at Es Torrent!!! A little tucked away beach on the south west coast of the island! It was recommended to me and wow it really didn’t disappoint ✨ We ate lots of fresh fish (we literally had 4 main courses of different fish because we wanted to try it all!!). If you’re into good fresh food, this place is a must 😍 especially if you love fish. Now we are spending the rest of the day chilling on the beach, tummy’s filled with some of the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever had!! this is a fun day out if you’re headed to Ibiza any time soon 🤍.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She’s Working On Being Healthier
McDermott has decided to live a healthier lifestyle. She even made a new Instagram account dedicated to her journey. She told Glamour, “I have taken on a new challenge to be a healthier and all-round better human being. And for someone who has always struggled to enjoy the gym and who also enjoys 2 chocolate milkshakes (minimum) a day, it’s not been the easiest ride."
2. She Makes Healthy Smoothies

McDermott revealed on her wellness Instagram that she likes to make green smoothies. She revealed her favorite recipe on this post. "I add a handful of spinach, handful of kale, apple juice & a few mango cubes. I sometimes add half a banana, or just have it with the kale, spinach and apple juice 🍏 I also add a scoop of this collagen powder for extra goodness."
3. She Does Full Body Workouts

McDermott works with trainer, Chris Barker, to help keep herself in shape. He broke down the workout routine he designed to Glamour. “I like to program full body days, so we are working out as much of the body as possible, however I will make sure that we are able to focus at the same time on certain areas like her bum, for example, which she has wanted to focus on."
4. She Eats A Lot Of Protein and Changes The Amount Of Carbs She Eats

In addition to designing her workouts, Barker also designs McDermott’s diet. He tells Glamour that he makes sure McDermott gets enough protein, and occasionally changes how much carbs she has. “Zara follows a high protein diet; we then reduce her carbohydrates and fats depending on how she is looking and feeling.”
5. She Cooks

McDermott likes to cook healthy meals. She shares a lot of her favorite recipes on Instagram. Barker complemented McDermott’s culinary skills to Glamour. “Zara is a great cook so she has always been very good with this side of things,” he says. “This is why she looks as amazing as she does."
