She Does Things That Make Her Happy

Zendaya tells Interview that her career is based off of following what makes her happy. She says, “I don’t necessarily have a plan. I’ve never really thought, ‘I have to do this by this time and I want to do this by that time.’ I just want to do the things that make me happy and bring me joy and fulfill me as an artist, as a person. So, I keep that loose, because if one day it turns into a completely different career path, then I would allow myself to do that.”
She’s Vegetarian

Zendaya is open about being a vegetarian, and it isn’t just so she can eat healthy. “My main reason for being a vegetarian is that I’m an animal lover — definitely NOT because I love vegetables,” she writes on her app. “I thought it was awful, all those animals getting packed up in there waiting to be killed. “I couldn’t believe that’s how I’d been getting my meat!”
She’s A Dancer

Zendaya is known for her incredible dance skills. She’s been dancing since she was young, and her skills have gotten her the lead role in the Disney series Shake It Up, and made her the runner-up on Dancing with The Stars.
She Gets Creative When Ordering Out

Being vegetarian, Zendaya has to get creative when she’s ordering from her favorite restaurants. She even has a guide to ordering vegetarian fast food on her website. Her order at In-and-Out burger is, “Grilled cheese with grilled onions and extra spread. It tastes just as good as the burger. And the animal style fries are unreal.”
She Stays Motivated To Exercise

While dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, Zendaya said that she wanted to stay motivated to workout, and that she had a unique way of doing so. “Every day—because I missed acting so much—to inspire me to go downstairs and work out, I would wear different wigs, because I have a whole collection of wigs from all the red carpets that I’ve done,” she said to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. She also said she wanted to make her brother laugh and keep him entertained, since he was the one working out with her.
