Zoe revealed to Harper's Bazaar that exercise is usually the first or last thing she will do every day. "I try to work out when I first get up. Otherwise I'll go late at night, like 10 P.M. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood," she explained.

Zoe often works out solo. "My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good. And I do stretches and sit-ups at home, like leg exercises and stuff," she told Bazaar. "I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point," she said.

When she needs to whip herself into shape for a role, such as Catwoman, she brings it. "It's pretty intense," she revealed about her preparation for her upcoming role as a superhero in The Batman on the podcast Questlove Supreme. "We started shooting two weeks ago, but before that I was in London for two months, just getting in shape, training, learning fights." What did she get out of the crazy training? "I can fight now," she confirmed.

Zoe maintains a super healthy diet. "Try to eat organic if you can, and know what you're putting in your body," she told Byrdie. "I really believe it's important to know that beauty and health start from the inside." She believes it is noticeable when someone isn't eating healthy. "I know it's expensive and difficult to eat well, but you can try growing a community garden and grow things from the earth yourself. It's really important to know exactly what you're putting in your body. Things that are alive are vibrant." While she is no longer vegan, she explained to Bazaar that she eats "mostly vegan health food," with a little meat. "I try to be conscious about where it's coming from," she said.

Zoe tries to make hydration a priority. "Trying to drink enough water is such a huge thing," she told Elle. "I really don't. Sometimes I'll realize it's 5 p.m. and I've had the tiniest glass of water."
