Elle Macpherson is showing off her flat abs and revealing tons of her beauty and wellness secrets! In a new interview with Vogue, the 57-year-old details her daily routine, revealing all the products and tricks she uses to look half her age. She also shared an image of herself on Instagram to promote the new interview, flaunting her figure in a cutout swimsuit. What are some of her top tips she is sharing with fans? Read on to see 5 ways Elle Macpherson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Beauty Starts From the Inside Out

Elle emphasizes the importance of taking care of yourself from the inside out. “My beauty routine, which is really a wellness routine disguised as a beauty routine, because I truly believe that when you're well within, it shows on your skin,” she said. She takes a “little swig” of an ION Biome to start her morning. She explains that it is important because “it supports your gut,” prepping it for other vitamins and supplements.

2. Use a Crystal Water Bottle

Elle prioritizes hydration, using a special water bottle for her H2O. “I'm gonna fill up my bottle with some water,” she explained. “I use a crystal bottle.” The concept behind the expensive water bottles is that positive energy is infused into them.

3. Lymphatic Drainage Is Important

“So for me, circulation is key,” says Elle. “Lymphatic drainage is really, really important. You've got to move those toxins out of your body, it will show on your skin, it will show in the way you feel,” she says. One way she does it? With a dry body brush.

4. Take a Hot Shower or Steam Nightly

Another way she practices lymphatic drainage is in a hot shower. “I have a steam most nights, and while I'm in the steam, while my body is sweating, I'll put oil on it and then I'll use the body Gua Sha, the same way as I use the lymphatic drainage brush.”

5. Gain Weight As You Age

Melbourne Cup Carnival 2018Getty Images

Elle maintains that weight gain as your age isn’t a bad thing. “I like to be a little bit more rosy and round, because I think at my age, it's just you know, it's more appealing to look less gaunt, so I've noticed that I've put on weight as I've gotten older and that old adage,” she explained. “You have to choose between your a** and your face is kind of true [laughs] because if I'm too thin, it really shows in my face, so I keep it round and rosy and fresh.”

5. Adapt Your Routine As You Age

As you get older, you need to change up your routine, per Elle. “When I turned 50, I started to notice some new changes in my body. I was sugar addicted, sleep deprived, adrenally stressed, and it showed, you know, it showed on my skin, it showed in my body, and I was doing the same things I've been doing since I was 20, and they just weren't working anymore,” she said. “I changed my lifestyle and within a few months, people started to say to me, God, you look amazing, and what are you doing, and I realized there were so many women that must've been struggling like I was and I wanted to share it with other people, so that is the birth of WelleCo.”

Elle Macpherson is 59, and still looks every bit the supermodel as she did in her twenties when earned her nickname, “The Body.” This week the statuesque stunner shared a photo of herself walking from behind in a high cut swimsuit, flaunting her beyond fit figure and legs-for-miles. How does the Aussie beauty keep herself so fit? 1. She Prioritizes Wellness

elle-macpherson-1Elle Macpherson/Instagram

Wellness is Elle’s priority year-round. “I believe in maintenance, I’m not a big binge and purge person,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I think it’s really important to maintain wellness year-round. Not because it looks good but it actually feels good – which is really important when you’re running a business and you’ve got kids and a full life. It’s easy – I just make good choices and I enjoy the choices that I make.”

2. She Follows an Alkaline, Plant-Based Diet

Vegetables,Ingredients,Composition,Summer,Plant,Based,Food,Vegan,,Alkaline,DietShutterstock

Elle follows an alkaline diet, rich in veggies. “I really enjoy a plant-based diet, I love vegetables,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “If I’m really in my groove, I love a raw, plant-based diet,” she added to New Beauty. “That’s how I feel best. I eat grains, nuts, seeds, beans, vegetables, almond milk, hemp milk, chia seeds. I make my own granola in a dehydrator. Avocado, salads, juicing—you know, beautiful, whole, natural foods. As far as animal products are concerned, I’ll have a poached egg every now and then, some Parmesan cheese and goat cheese, but they’re not staples of my diet.”

3. She Gives Up Wheat and Sugar for Summer

Prior to swimsuit season, Elle makes dietary sacrifices. “Coming up for summer what I try to cut out is wheat and sugar. If you love bread and butter, that would be what I’d give up for the summer. For me it’s a ‘fine tune’ more than anything else,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

4. She Starts the Day with Hot Water and Lemon

Mon Cheri Barbara DaySven Hoppe/Getty Images

Elle is one of the many stars who get the day started with a lemon water elixir. “The first thing I have is hot water and lemon when I wake up, then my Super Elixir greens and a matcha tea. Sometimes I have cap-full of apple cider vinegar in water if I’m feeling like I’m inflamed. I drink three litres of water a day and my Sleep Welle Tea at night,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

5. She Curbed Her Craving for Sugar with Supplements

Elle maintains that one of her supplements keeps her sugar cravings away. “Since I’ve been taking the Super Elixir I don’t crave sugar anymore and so when I have cheap sugar now I just don’t like the taste. Sugar is addictive but breaking that addiction only takes about three days. Do a week of taking the Super Elixir greens and then try to give up sugar, it’s usually pretty successful, she told Harper’s Bazaar.

6. She Stays Active Outdoors

FASHION-ITALY-GREEN-CARPET-AWARDSMiguel Medina/Getty Images

Elle prefers outdoor activities to sweating away in a gym. “I do sports like water skiing, running, cycling, swimming laps, snow skiing if it’s winter, walking the dogs – I just love to be outdoors,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “If I’m lucky enough to be by the sea, I think walking in seawater is one of the best things I can do for my body. It tones the legs and the waist, it’s great for minerals, and if you have any water retention, it’s a great diuretic. I walk in about thigh-deep or knee-deep water for 40 minutes to an hour,” she added to New Beauty.

“I don’t do any regulated exercise, but I’m very active. On the weekends I go for long hikes with my dogs. I try and stretch every day. I do the occasional yoga or Pilates class, but mostly it’s just self-exercise at home. I might do some stomach exercises or some bottom or arm exercises, but because I trained for a dancer when I was young, I sort of know all the exercises. I find it very hard for my schedule to regularly go anywhere else. It works very well for me,” she told the Cut.

3. How She Stays Healthy Emotionally

“I find watching the news and talking to my friends keeps me healthy emotionally because you realize that there are really terrible things happening sometimes and it makes you feel grateful for what you have. If you hear that someone is sick, you appreciate your health. If you hear something bad happened to someone, you’re glad it didn’t happen to you or your loved ones. There are many ways to appreciate what you’ve got,” she told the Cut.

"I haven’t eaten processed food for 100 years," the star told U.K.’s Sunday Times. "I don’t eat sweets. I drink little alcohol. I don’t smoke but I deeply regret that I once did. I have learned to eat lighter and not so late." She added: "I think one of the most transformative things that I’ve done is making 50 percent of what I eat vegetable matter," Hurley continued. "If you have a slice of toast for breakfast, have an apple too. Counteract everything with vegetables,” according to Fox News.

5. She Has Her Own Swimsuit Line

"I decided to venture into beachwear not only because I’ve always been obsessed with vacation clothes, but also because it’s an area where women, regardless of shape or size, can either look amazing or really get it wrong. Elle Macpherson is an extremely successful model. She earned the nickname “The Body” throughout her career, since she did a lot of swimsuit modeling. Macpherson appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover five times. Macpherson recently shared a swimsuit photo on her Instagram story. Her impressive figure was on display. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Elle Macpherson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Sought Help From A Dermatologist

Macpherson shared her skincare secrets with Get The Gloss. She says that she sought help from a dermatologist. “In 2014, I was burned out, irritable and exhausted. I first visited nutritionist Dr. Simone Laubscher PhD’s London clinic and I remember telling her about my skin being particularly dry, dull and prone to rashes and hives. She prescribed me 30 days of her anti-inflammatory nutritional greens powder. After just a few weeks, I was feeling better, lighter and brighter. The quality of my skin improved noticeably and people’s comments confirmed it.”

2. She Eats An Anti-Inflammatory Diet

Flat,Lay,Composition,With,Bottles,Of,Delicious,Juices,And,FreshShutterstock

Macpherson makes sure to eat a healthy diet. “At the same time, I’ve learned that the best facial is what you put inside your body, which is why I preference an anti-inflammatory approach to diet and in turn, skincare,” she told Get The Gloss. “It improves skin texture and appearance, as Dr Barbara Sturm, a brilliant doctor and master of skin care who I have known for over 15 years, often shares. This means I eat organic, whole foods and stick to plant-based meals. If my skin needs a boost for an upcoming shoot or event, I’ll start juicing four times daily using my friend Dr Sara Siso’s protocol — lots of turmeric, ginger, green leafy vegetables, cucumber — and my super greens. I’ll also add our collagen powder to support my skin specifically.”

3. She Stays Hydrated

Macpherson tells Get The Gloss that she drinks a lot of water. “Another skin essential for me is hydration. I drink three litres of water every day and start each morning with warm water, lemon and ginger, and two capsules of The Skin Elixir with water. I leave the jar of skin caps next to my toothbrush to remind me to take them. I take two teaspoons of The Super Elixir™️ greens in water in the morning too.”

4. She Does Outdoor Activities

One thing Macpherson does to stay in shape is outdoor activities. She tells Get The Gloss that this also helps her skin. “We are an active family, so connection to nature and the fresh air tends to have a positive effect on our skin in terms of tone, colour and texture. Nothing beats a rosy cheek from being outdoors with my boys; hiking, skiing, biking or swimming.”

5. She Limits Sugar

Macpherson shared some of her wellness secrets with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she has figured out a way to limit her sugar intake. “Since I’ve been taking the Super Elixir I don’t crave sugar anymore and so when I have cheap sugar now I just don’t like the taste. Sugar is addictive but breaking that addiction only takes about three days. Do a week of taking the Super Elixir greens and then try to give up sugar, it’s usually pretty successful.”

Today I had a super bowl with quinoa, beets, goats cheese, sweet potato and rocket with olive oil and it was fabulous, I felt completely nourished.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
