She Makes Time For Herself
Flowers broke down her daily routine in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that she makes sure to make time for herself each day. The way Flowers does so? By planning her schedule. "My days can be all over the place," she explains. "So I enjoy this time because it gives structure to my week and keeps me organized, which is a job in itself."
She Does The Same Workouts
Working out is a big part of Flowers' life. And she has some staple exercises that she goes back to on a regular basis. "I appreciate a structured plan when it comes to working out," Flowers said in an interview with Greenville News. "My schedule can be a little all over the place, so I find comfort in having consistency in fitness."
She Strength Trains
Flowers also told Us Weekly that she likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She is also seen doing these exercises in this video on her Instagram. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength training has a lot of benefits. "Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes."
She Does Mountain Climbers
In her Instagram video, Flowers is seen doing mountain climbers. According to Gymless, this workout has a lot of benefits. "The mountain climbers work on several muscles groups at once, targeting both the upper body and lower body muscles which enables you to have a full-body workout. The primary muscles worked are the abdominals, glutes, and hip flexors. The secondary muscles worked are the anterior deltoids, quadriceps, hamstrings, triceps, and calves."
She Works With A Trainer
In her Us Weekly interview, Flowers shared some of her workout secrets. She says that she likes to work with a personal trainer. "I grew up playing basketball and tennis," she revealed. "So working one-on-one with my trainer, Eric, gives me that coach [and] athlete discipline I've missed from playing sports."
