She pulled a weighted bar while doing a twist.

Rebel Wilson is an actress. She's known for her roles in the Pitch Perfect franchise, Isn't It Romantic?, and Bridesmaids. Wilson notably lost a lot of weight, and shared the workout she did to do so on her Instagram story. In it, she pulled a weighted bar while doing a twist. Wilson captioned the post, "For some reason I have to do the sound effects!" How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Rebel Wilson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Wilson has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her routine in an interview with WhoWhatWear. "You know, I used to do more steps, but normally in the morning, I just cleanse with something simple, like Dermalogica's UltraCalming Cleanser ($39). I also love the SK-II products because I'm in London, and it's a bit dry. I love their Eye Cream ($139), Serum ($245), and Moisturizer ($235)."

She Wears Sunscreen

Wilson makes sure to protect her skin from the sun. She tells WhoWhatWear that she makes sure to wear sunscreen every day. "And then I'll always apply Dermalogica's Sunscreen With SPF 50 ($75) because I'm so fair, but I love being out in the sun. Wearing sunscreen every single day is something that's kind of been ingrained in me as an Australian."

She Stretches

Wilson tells WhoWhatWear that she likes to stretch in the mornings. "If I can, I also really like to exercise in the morning, it just kind of gets me going, and stretching is also great. I'm always worried about getting injuries since I do quite a lot of physical stuff for my job, so I'm all about injury prevention—stretching out my legs and my back and just kind of making sure everything is feeling good before work."

She Changed Her Eating Habits

Wilson told WhoWhatWear about how she changed her eating habits. "The biggest difference, and the reason why these other changes really started to work for me last year, was tackling emotional eating—it's my biggest vice. Before this transformation, I would come home and maybe eat a whole pizza or a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's, and I just really used food to comfort myself after a long day. There were some behavioral patterns that I really had to change and analyze. I haven't completely solved the issue, it's still there, it's just something that I can manage a lot better now. I think everyone has vices and it's really hard—you can't exactly cure yourself of them, but you can try your best to manage them. I've been working with a doctor to understand that more, and it's an interesting process. You learn a lot about yourself, and it's emotional, but I think that's hopefully going to be the key to my long-term success."

She Walks

Wilson did a lot of walking to help her get in shape. "An Austrian doctor said 'Rebel, the best way for you to lose unwanted body fat is just simply walking," she said to Apple Fitness+.  "'Doesn't have to be high-intensity, doesn't have to be uphill, just moderate walking an hour a day. 'And if you can do that, for you, for your body type, it's, like, the best way to lose unwanted body fat.'"
