The actress makes working out part of her regular life. One way she does so is with the convenience of a home gym.
"I have a little gym in my garage and do a lot of circuit training," Brenda shared during an interview with The Cut. "To be the best mom, I have to be the best me. And exercise helps me not worry or overthink. So I try to find a little time."

She Loves Green Tea and Dark Chocolate
In an interview with New York Magazine, Brenda shared some of her favorite healthy treats. The actress revealed she drinks green tea and loves almond-butter dark chocolate.
When speaking about green tea, she said, "It gives me the burst of energy I need, but I never get the crash that I used to get from coffee. So now I start off every morning with a matcha latte mixed with hot water and a little bit of almond milk. It's super-easy and quick, and I don't go a day without it."

A go-to source of protein and energy for the celeb? Hu's Almond Butter and Puffed Quinoa Dark Chocolate Bars. She told the outlet, "I love very, very dark chocolate, which these are, but there's also no refined sugar in them. I feel like such an L.A. girl talking about my almond-butter dark chocolate, but it gives me a burst of energy and some protein, and it's that little kick when I need it. I always have a bar in a [Ziplock] bag in my purse. I'm in a stage of my life where everything I eat is about having the right kind of energy because I want to be able to keep up with my son."
