She makes time for activities that can still be fun, not necessarily just cramming in gym time. While soaking up the sun, she dances and keeps things light. “This was my summer song,” she said while dancing in an Instagram video. According to Better Health, “dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including: improved condition of your heart and lungs [and] increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness.”

2

She has fun

Whether it’s her birthday or a Tuesday, Salma Hayek knows that it’s important to have fun in life, embracing balance. On Instagram, she said, “59 trips around the sun and still dancing ☀️💃🏻 cheers to all of you & thank you for the love 🎂🎉♥️” in a post with a drink in her hand, looking happy and healthy in the sun.

Whether she’s spending time swimming in the water, soaking in that vitamin sea, or deep diving with scuba gear, she has a love of the water that keeps her active. “Tomorrow is World Oceans Day, let’s be inspired to protect our oceans, at least from the trash. 🌊 🗑️ #worldoceansday,” she said in a post on Instagram.

She reflects

She finds peace, taking time to relax and reflect. Meditation is a great way to keep your mental health in check. “Make this week count, not because of the things you do, but because you pause to feel them,” she said on Instagram in a video of waves slowly crashing.

She skis

Although she is clearly a big fan of the water and warm weather, she finds ways to stay active in the winter, as well. Activities like skiing, snowboarding, or just even spending time soaking up that crisp cold air can be good for the mind and body. “Let it snow ❄️☃️⛷️,” she said on a photo of her ready to hit the slopes.
