1. Hiking

Sukirti loves to take a hike! “On top of the world literally,” she captioned a post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

2. Yoga

Sukirti is a yogi. She celebrated World Yoga Day with an inspiring post. “U can buy a new car house or a new watch. But you can't buy a fit body. A fit body is earned not given. Ultimate sign of self respect,” she captioned a bendy post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

3. Pilates

Sukirti does Pilates to keep her body long and lean. “Rise and shine it's Pilates time with the lovely group,” she captioned a post. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

4. Choosing Her Hard

Sukirti maintains that fitness is a choice. “Waking up early to train is hard. Pushing yourself to work out every week in the gym is hard. Rejecting fast food in modern society is even harder. Having no energy is even worse. There is the pain of sacrifice or the pain of regret. Choose ur hard. Work hard to live well,” she captioned an inspiring post.

5. Tea
