Tennis

Jasmine has been playing tennis since she was 5. “I remember that my father and my mother told me, you have to choose one sport to do," Jasmine told WTA Insider. "In Bagni Di Lucca, there was all tennis or a swimming pool, and because of my uncle who was playing tennis, I decided to go to play.” She “enjoyed” the sport "a lot" since she started it and built up a "family" at her local tennis club.

Surfing

Jasmine also enjoys surfing. “Focus, focus, focus! 😅🏄🏾♀️,” she captioned a video of herself surfing. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.

Biking

Here she is cycling on a bike after winning a match with doubles partner Sara Errani. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Walking

Here she is walking on the beach with Martina Trevisan. “Partner in crime,” she captioned the series of snaps. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

She Is Short

“It’s not easy because I am short,” Paolini told the New York Times. “But my feet are fast, and I can make some powerful shots. And I have joy for this sport, and that really helps a lot. I’m trying to fight on every ball and just trying to find a way.”
