Sarah loves hopping on the reformer. "I got really into pilates over the last few months," she told Casting Frontier. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.

She Avoids "Restrictive" Diets

You won't find Sarah on a crash diet. "As far as food goes, I don't like to be too restrictive about what I eat. Life's too short to pass on dessert. If I had a mantra, it would be to treat yourself, within reason," she said.

She Goes on Nature Walks

"I think being in nature is very cathartic," Sarah revealed. "I would say I'm more of a nature walker than a serious hiker. I feel spoiled living in Vancouver and having so many beautiful places to explore."

She Also Hikes

Sarah did admit to Huffington Post that she does hike, as well. "I would say my secret is balance, finding time to relax and hang out with friends. I've been spending a lot of time outdoors this summer, swimming in lakes, going on hikes, and listening to live music," she said.

She Has a Guilty Pleasure

Sarah has one guilty pleasure. "I'm a sucker for Dairy Queen. Peanut buster parfaits are my weakness," she confessed. Sarah's indulgence in Dairy Queen's Peanut Buster Parfaits highlights the joy of treating oneself. This guilty pleasure, a delightful mix of creamy soft-serve, rich hot fudge, and crunchy peanuts, offers a moment of bliss and comfort, showcasing the psychological benefits of occasionally indulging in favorite foods. Such treats can boost mood, providing a brief escape from daily stresses. However, moderation is key. Balancing these indulgences with a generally healthy diet and active lifestyle ensures that they remain special treats without adversely affecting health. Embracing these moments guilt-free can contribute to a well-rounded, happy life, where small pleasures are savored responsibly.
