In an Instagram post captioned, “Blink Twice in theaters August 23rd 🌴,” Zoë Kravitz absolutely stuns in her chic black gown that fits her body like a glove. The American actress broke into the Hollywood scene, known for her roles in X-Men: First Class, the Fantastic Beasts series, Divergent, Big Little Lies, and Mad Max: Fury Road to name a few. Her impressive career aside, she focuses a lot on health and wellness, prioritizing her well-being. What does she do to stay fit and healthy? We did some digging to find out.

1. She includes floor exercises

Zoë always makes time for floor exercises, including anything from leg workouts, sit ups, and even good old-fashioned stretching. “I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point,” she said.

2. She squeezes in a workout

Regardless of how busy she is, she always prioritizes squeezing in a workout. “I'll go late at night, like 10 p.m. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood,” she told Harper's Bazaar. “My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good.”

3. She drinks plenty of water

Zoë works hard to avoid processed foods, and keeps her body healthy with supplements and by hydrating. According to the Cleveland Clinic, “the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine recommends the following for daily fluid intake: 125 ounces (3.7 liters) for males and 91 ounces (2.7 liters) for females. But here’s the thing: Consider those numbers a starting point.” Professionals say you need to factor in your diet, metabolism, location, size, physical activity and health.

4. She includes supplements into her diet

In addition to focusing on avoiding processed foods and staying hydrated, she takes supplements to maintain her health, as well, like probiotics and fish oil. According to the Cleveland Clinic, “proponents claim that fish oil can lower your risk of heart disease by decreasing blood pressure and cholesterol. That’s because fish oil supplements are a pill form of omega-3 fatty acids, which have been studied for decades and have proven benefits for heart health.”

5. She eats healthy

When it comes to eating habits, Zoë really focuses on making healthy choices. She goes for a lot of vegan, wholesome options majority of the time. “I try to be conscious about where it's coming from,” she said about her food.

Zoë Kravitz is an actress and singer best known for her role as Catwoman in The Batman, and her role as Bonnie Carlson on Big Little Lies. Soon, however, you'll know her as a big-time director—her first film, Blink Twice, starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat, comes out August 23. Kravitz recently shared a photo of herself in two-piece workout gear on Instagram. She received praise in her comments section. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Zoë Kravitz stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Worked With A Trainer

Lenny Kravitz Honored with Star on The Hollywood Walk of FameVariety/Getty Images

To play Catwoman, Kravitz worked with trainer Harley Pasternak. He shared with Men’s Health that they worked out each filming day. "We would work out five days a week, because they film five days a week," Pasternak said. "And we'd work out during a typical 30-minute lunch break, but it was usually 25 with them. Each workout starts with cardio warmup and then we do circuits of upper body and lower body, then abs and then a cardio cooldown. All in 25 minutes."

2. She Makes Wellness A Priority

Kravitz tells Vogue that she makes sure to make wellness a priority. “I try and drink a lot of water, and I think it’s all about balance. I think it’s about joy, happiness and laughter because those really effect the way you look and feel. I also love to steam—I love to sweat things out and I think it’s good to keep the body moving.”

3. She Does Cleanses

Kravitz revealed to Vogue that she does a cleanse each year with her mother. “Every year, my mom and I try and do the Dr. Schultz 30-Day Detox together. It’s a 30-day cleanse that focuses on all your different organs, so your bowel, your liver, your kidneys, your gallbladder and the bowel again. It’s just a nice thing to reset your body every year. If you don’t do that cleanse, take a week to eat raw and natural foods as a way to let your body relax because it’s constantly working to process everything that we’re putting in it. It’s like giving your gut a vacation.”

4. She Uses The Elliptical

Kravitz shared her daily routine with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she likes to use the elliptical at the gym. “I try to work out when I first get up. Otherwise I'll go late at night, like 10 P.M. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood. My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good.”

5. She Uses Steam Rooms

After working out, Kravitz tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to go in a steam room. “I also love steam rooms, because it helps get all the toxins out and rejuvenate your body. And I do stretches and sit-ups at home, like leg exercises and stuff. I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point.”

When Ben Affleck was getting ready to play the iconic role of Batman in the movie Batman vs. Superman, he knew he had to live up to expectations. Affleck worked hard to achieve the body he needed for the role. “I knew that a big part of the audience’s expectation around the role would be how I looked physically,” Affleck told Men’s Journal. “And that was something I had some control over. If I was going to fail in this role, I wasn’t going to let it be in a way that could have been prevented if I had worked harder.” Affleck added, “Getting ready for this role meant working hard, day in and day out. But it was the kind of work where I felt gains in not only my size, but also my mental and physical health.”

Rihanna, like many celebrities, works with celebrity personal trainer, Harley Pasternak. Pasternak told Fashionmagazine.com, that the singer is on his famous “5-Factor Plan.” Pasternak describes it as "A workout made up of five phases, which starts off with a cardio warm-up for at least five minutes. Rihanna loves to ride on a stationary bike, whereas some people will jog, walk, run stairs. Phase two is an upper-body resistance exercise, such as a back row or a shoulder raise. Phase 3 is a lower body exercise, like a skater lunge or a hamstring curl. Phase 4 is an abdominal movement like a side bend or a trunk twist. Phase 5 is a cardio cool-down for at least five minutes. So she'll do a continuous circuit, and each day of the week we do different body parts."

In an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Cabello described an incident that led her to embrace this mindset. "I had my belly out, I didn’t know anybody was taking pictures of me," she said. "I was like, you know what, this is normal. It’s like my weight is gonna go up and down, also we have these crazy beauty standards from... Instagram of people that are photoshopped or if they’re not photoshopped, it’s not every woman’s body.”

6. Billie Eilish Tries To Have A Positive Relationship With Her Body

Singer Billie Eilish told The Guardian that she struggles with her body image, and social media plays a role in her mindset. “I see people online, looking like I’ve never looked,” she says. “And immediately I am like, oh my God, how do they look like that? I know the ins and outs of this industry, and what people actually use in photos, and I actually know what looks real can be fake. Yet I still see it and go, oh God, that makes me feel really bad. And I mean, I’m very confident in who I am, and I’m very happy with my life…I’m obviously not happy with my body.” Eilish added: “But who is?” Despite all this, Eilish still works to have a better view of her body. “We only need bodies to eat and walk around and poop. We only need them to survive,” she says. “It’s ridiculous that anybody even cares about bodies at all. Like, why? Why do we care? You know, when you really think about it?”

2. She Does the Tracy Anderson Method

Zoey is a fan of the Tracy Anderson Method. She broke down her routine based on the dance-inspired workout for Teen Vogue a few years back.

3. She Sets Aside Time for Herself

“I’ve been working for a decade and I never once thought about building a vacation into the schedule,” she recently told Porter. “I’ve been trying to establish boundaries for myself, so I can lead a life where I’m not living to work,” she says. “The scary realization is that an actor who does nothing but act is kind of boring. If I do that, all I can talk about is acting. Or myself. And I refuse – I refuse – to be an uninteresting person!”

4. Anxiety Is Her “Superpower”

Zoey once revealed to Cosmopolitan that she has struggled with mental health most of her life. "I came into this world with anxiety. I used to hold my breath from anxiety when I was a baby and it would make me faint,” she said. "There are times when it's debilitating. It's one of my key motivators and it's at the center of my ambition."

6. Her “Greatest Passion in Life” Is Eating

Prime Video Presents The VIP Preview Of The Latrine Pop-Up In Celebration Of The Launch Of Amazon Original FairfaxJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

“My greatest passion in life is food and eating. I’ve always had those passions, but I didn’t really show the world until now, on my Instagram. I’m getting a lot of accusations, like, ‘Who’s cooking for you? Who did this?’ Nobody is like, ‘Wow, beautiful work!’ Nobody wants to believe it’s me. But that makes sense, because I can’t do anything, so they’re confused that I can do this. The other day, someone was like, ‘You know, Zoey, you don’t, like, ‘do things.’ You don’t like games or sports.’ I was like, ‘Am I the most boring person in the world?’ But yeah, I have nothing else except food and — sort of — acting,” she told Vulture.

7. This Is Her “Therapeutic Outlet”

Prime Video Presents The VIP Preview Of The Latrine Pop-Up In Celebration Of The Launch Of Amazon Original FairfaxJoe Scarnici/Getty Images

“One of my therapeutic outlets I’ve been missing, which I didn’t realize was such a factor in my life, is loudly singing in my car,” she confessed to Vulture. “Like, I’ll sing in my house or in my shower or whatever, like other people, but I also spent two hours a day screaming pop music in my car. And I genuinely think it’s affected my happiness that I haven’t been able to do it. I think I’ve cracked the code for why, when I’m on-location, I also feel sad. So the other day, I just sat in my car for two hours and sang really loudly.”

Adding a playful pun to her caption, she wrote, “Never tyre’d of a good beach workout.”
So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
