She Sticks to Whole Foods

In an interview with Women's Health, Heard admitted that she's a major proponent of sticking to foods and ingredients she recognizes and can pronounce. "You feel better when you're eating food that retains nutritional value," she explained. The Justice League star also revealed that, even with a jam-packed schedule, she prefers cooking for herself so she can be certain of what's going into her food.

She Does Strength Training

From Amber's Instagram posts it is obvious she relies on strength training to keep her body lean and strong. On April 26, she flaunted her toned abs while executing a plank exercise with her upper body supported on rings and suspended in mid-air.

She Recently Cut Sugar From Her Diet

Amber recently eliminated sugar from her diet. "I cut out banana," she revealed in a recent Instagram video. "It's too high sugar. I've gotten to a point in my life where I'm like, 'I can't even have banana,'" she said.

"I like running because it's a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus. Plus, I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it's invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am," she told Shape.

Chocolate and Tex Mex are two of Amber's cheat foods. "If you're not going to enjoy life, there's no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look—and how the world looks at us," she told Shape.

Amber also drinks green juice. In a recent Instagram video she did a green juice taste test, identifying celery without any problem.

Amber is also an experienced yogi. "Queen of yog-Atlantis?!" she captioned an Instagram video showing off her poise.

She Can Workout for Up to Five Hours a Day

"For Aquaman, I did six months of rigorous training," Amber explained to Shape. "It was a lot of weight and strength training, as well as special martial arts training. By the end, I was working out for five hours a day. But when I'm not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life so that I enjoy it and it doesn't feel like an obligation."
