She Uses Exercise As A Mental Health Benefit

Larter revealed some of her favorite exercises to Parade. She says that exercise is a big part of her life, and that it helps keep her mental health better. "I'm a huge believer in exercise, and I think that anyone can have a down day or be going through different kinds of challenging times in their life. For me, exercise is about getting out of your brain and into your body. I work out all the time and it's not just to get stronger. It's because of the mental lift that you get from it."

She Loves OrangeTheory

Larter reveals to Parade that her sister got her into OrangeTheory, and now she's hooked. "I loved the circuit of it. And I loved that I was really competing with myself. Especially in this industry that can be so brutal, I learned a long time ago that the only person I can compete with is myself. And so that I thought was really great. And the fact that your metabolism, that you continue to burn calories after the workout. And that's how they developed it. So, I love Orangetheory."

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Larter tells Parade that she likes to do a variety of exercises. "I mix it all up. So I do hot yoga, I do Orangetheory, I do a lot of band work. And I run outside. And so that to me is really how I mix it all up. I love to sweat."

She Works Out With Her Son

Larter has a busy schedule and two kids, which can make it difficult for her to workout. However, she tells Parade that she likes to do activities with her son to keep herself in shape. "I'm trying to get my son actually to start jogging with me a little bit. He was able to bike ride next to me as I went for a four mile jog. And that's part of it in our family is teaching him at a young age because exercise again, it's the only way I think that you can get out of a funk or you can really lift yourself up."

She Stays Hydrated

In this post on her website, Larter revealed some of her go-to wellness habits. She says a big part of her wellness routine is staying hydrated each day. "I drink copious amounts of water all day long and I chug huge glasses to stay quenched," Larter writes. "I use green juices in my diet to fill the gaps in the day."
