Cook Your Own Food

One study conducted by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health found that people who prepare their own meals eat healthier and consume fewer calories than those who cook less.

2

Do Yoga

Angelique likes to strike a pose. Not only is she a yogi to stay in shame, but the mind-body workout was helpful in treating her anxiety. Her favorite yoga apps? Alo Move and Fitonomy. Both help her "breathe" and "feel the body, the vibrations that can be generated to also improve mental and emotional health," she revealed in an Instagram post.

3

Get Your Cycle On

Angelique is also big into cycling. Sometimes she takes a leisure ride and others, mountain bikes with her partner, Sebastián Rulli. According to the Mayo Clinic cycling is a great low impact workout for cardiovascular health that challenges your legs and core muscles.

4

Eat Organic

Angelique eats organic. She explained that "it's a dream" to have a home garden and be able to grow her own produce. "Backyard gardening can inspire you to take an interest in the origins of your food and make better choices about what you put on your plate," says Dr. Helen Delichatsios, an internist at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. "When you grow your own food, you savor it more because of the effort it took to get to the table."

5

Maintain an Active Lifestyle

Angelique trains with weights at the gym. However, she also stays in shape by maintaining an active lifestyle and blasting calories in her free time. Hiking, skydiving, and wakeboarding are a few outdoor activities she loves.
