Rhodes opened up about her wellness routine to Muscle and Fitness. She says that she makes sure to stay consistent with her working out. “I’m still training all of the time,” she shares. “People can connect the dots and make of that what they will. I will tell you; I wouldn’t be training and getting beat up (laughs) just for the hell of it, so obviously I do plan to continue my in-ring career. When and where? That is yet to be seen but I hope when it does happen, everybody is happy and proud.”

2. She Switches It Up

When it comes to Rhodes’ fitness routine, she is all about variety. “One of the things that I am very open to is evolving my fitness routines,” she told Muscle and Fitness. “I know that sometimes we get really comfortable with certain routines and we kinda just get stuck in them, and we don’t know how to move forward.” Rhodes says that she uses the Sweat app for this reason.

She shared some of her favorite healthy snacks and post-workout food to Athleisure Magazine. “When I’m working out, I love a good protein shake,” she said. “My favorite is from a place called Kale Me Crazy. I’m also very big on tuna packets, because I can take them anywhere and they do the trick! Then I love almond butter. Put it on my toast every morning.”

4. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Rhodes has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared some of her favorite products in her Athleisure Magazine interview. “I always travel with Foreo. It’s a face cleansing device (similar to Clarisonic) but they come in Travel sizes and are so easy to use and keep clean! I also need my Dermologica face lotion which is lightweight and SPF50! Lastly, I always have a good mask with me, I tend to go back and forth between charcoal and mud masks.”

Rhodes wants to give back, and she works with different charities. She tells Athleisure Magazine that she likes to work with cancer charities and organizations in particular. “I’ve always had an interest in anything that helps with cancer research. Over the past few years my family has known too many families that have lost kids to childhood cancer. I’m always passionate in that research and spreading the word about ways to help.”

“I train very hard daily! My workouts are 6 days a week and incorporate weight training, interval exercises and plenty of cardio. I’ve found a balance with training, it’s something that challenges me, but also that I enjoy greatly,” Brandi told Athleisure.

2. She Practices Self-Care

Brandi also prioritizes self-care. “The number one thing I learned in wrestling is that no one’s going to take care of you as much as you’re going to take care of you. I knew everything I needed to keep myself safe—and I knew how to say no,” she told Women’s Health.

4. She Does Yoga

Brandi owns a yoga studio. “I started doing yoga during the pandemic. I went into it thinking the practice would be the thing that helped me with my mental health. But it was the community of yoga that really filled me up,” she told Women’s Health.

5. Pilates

Brandi also does pilates. Here she is on a reformer. Why is pilates a good workout? After every session, I feel a little bit fitter, my body was a little more taut and I always felt that I was moving in the right direction…” she said. “If you really knuckle down, it is perfectly possible to make quite big changes to your physique in six weeks. Taking the pictures was a great motivator because I was determined that I would look a little fitter in each one.”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
