Brooke Burke is a fitness icon and, after a long career in acting, transformed herself into a fitness guru, founding Brooke Burke Body. Her Instagram is full of swimsuit photos and videos. Burke just posted a new reel of herself lounging by the pool. In it, she wore a mustard bathing suit, and a floral print caftan, showing off her tonged figure. She Takes Her Mornings Slow

Burke revealed her wellness secrets to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She says that she likes to take her mornings slow. "Really slowing down and having grateful moments in the morning. I have my coffee in bed. But before I even rise, I try to steal five to 10 minutes from every day just for myself to get my head in the right place." Burke says that the pandemic is what got her into this practice.

She Makes A Shake Each Morning

Burke likes to start her day with a shake. She shared her recipe to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. "My first meal of the day after intermittent fasting is a shake that is full of everything I need from good fats, MCT oil, Tru Niagen packets, collagen powders, almond butter cinnamon for anti-inflammatory properties, peptides, etc. I basically put everything I need into one shake, and that's it. It's that simple."

She Stays Hydrated

Burke makes sure to stay hydrated each day. She tells Sports Illustrated Swimsuit that it helps not only with her wellness, but with her skin. "Hydration is No. 1. I believe it's beneficial for hair, skin, nails and joints." "As you age, your body's fluid reserve becomes smaller, your ability to conserve water is reduced and your thirst sense becomes less acute. These problems are compounded by chronic illnesses such as diabetes and dementia, and the use of certain medications. Older adults also can have mobility problems that limit their ability to obtain water for themselves," says the Mayo Clinic. "Increasing your water intake may seem easy, but it can be hard to remember to drink up."

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Burke has amazing skin and she makes sure to take care of it. She revealed some of her favorite products to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. "I'm a big believer in MCT oil. I also love vitamins for the face. I like Vitamin B, Vitamin C for eye cream and coconut oil."

She Eats Healthy Fats

Burke makes sure to get enough fat in her diet. She tells Hollywood Life that she always eats healthy fats each day. "We need fat, it's all the things that we were trained not to do that really feed our brain and our skin, our hair. I do eat a lot of fat, but I am pretty conscious of what I eat, I don't eat processed food really at all."
