1

Eat Clean

Christine suggests maintaining a clean diet. "I usually have a protein shake first thing, followed by scrambled eggs and avocado after the gym. In the afternoon, Paddy and I will eat out at a restaurant. I'll order chicken salad with extra chicken to get a good protein hit after exercising. In the evenings, we'll have salmon with broccoli and sweet potato. I snack on apples, bananas and grapes every day," she dished to Closer about what she eats in a day.

Eat Bland Food

Christine's diet consists of mostly bland food. "I don't eat anything strange. I'm very fussy and particular – I like things bland," she told Closer. One thing she avoids completely? "Red meat. I don't like the taste, smell, texture or appearance. If I cook it for other people, I wear gloves," she told Closer.

Hydrate

Christine is all about hydration. "I've been teetotal for 12 years. The one thing I can't recommend enough is water. I wonder how people survive the day without drinking at least two litres!" she told Closer.

4

Exercise

Christine discussed her exercise routine with Women Fitness, which consists mostly of strength and weight training workouts. "I like to do a variation of cardio, HIIT and weights," she said. "I don't stick to a routine; I do whatever I'm in the mood for that day. On days that I feel like doing nothing I will pop the baby in the pram and go for a long walk so I am still doing some gentle exercise. When I have had a good night's sleep and feel like I've got plenty of energy then I will interval run followed by some abdominal workouts. I love to train my core."

Eat Green and Lots of Protein

"Green and protein is what I aim for," Christine told Women Fitness. "At the minute I'm eating avocado with almost everything! Avocado with egg, avocado with chicken, avocado smash bagel. It's healthy and filling, it does contain fats but good fats. I do have a sweet tooth; I allow myself treats in moderation, mainly weekends. When I'm craving sugar I reach for the fruit bowl or a mixed veg and fruit smoothie."

6

Love Yourself

Christine is about her struggles with body image issues. However, in a recent Instagram post she explained that she is working on loving herself more. "I do remain positive. It takes time, hard work, commitment and dedication but it will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.I believe exercise is great for your inner self more than your outer self. Each and every body is beautiful but if you ask me about exercise I will always encourage and support the idea. Go for it every time, do it for you! I only wish someone would have encouraged me sooner," she wrote.
