1. She Goes Outside

Crawford revealed some of her wellness secrets to Byrdie. She says that she starts her wellness routine first thing in the morning. Crawford loves to spend time outside, and does so each morning. “I begin almost every day by taking a dip in the jacuzzi outside. It really helps me start my day with gratitude and feeling connected to nature.”

2. She Meditates

Another part of Crawford’s wellness routine is practicing meditation. She tells Byrdie that this is something she recently picked up. “I also was able to develop a more consistent meditation practice during the past year. My favorite time to meditate is midafternoon. I love just quieting my mind and also taking time to do a little reset midday—especially if we have anything going on that evening.”

3. She Exfoliates Her Skin

Crawford has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells New Beauty, “I’m a big believer in exfoliating my body, and I have more than one way to do it. I love the Elemis Dry Brush. If I forget or I am rushed, I use my antibacterial plastic pink shower mitt with body wash, usually Dermalogica—it’s the body wash my husband and I both agree on. I use that most of the time, but I do like bar soap, too. The one I use when I’m going to shave my legs is Bulgari Au Thé Blanc . I also love the Arianna Ultra Exfoliating Body Treatment. I was walking down Prince Street in NYC one day and happened upon a small store. I went in and the salesperson let me sample it on my hand. I loved it and bought three! I apply it on dry skin and give myself a good scrub before I turn the shower on. I love the size of the dead sea salt scrub, and it smells delicious.”

4. She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Crawford also has amazing hair, which she also takes care of. She tells New Beauty, “Even though I used to think I had to wash my hair every day, as I’ve gotten older, I try to go longer between washes. Usually it’s about every three days, so sometimes I have to plan my workouts accordingly!"

5. She Still Indulges

Crawford tells Allure that she eats pretty healthy, but she still has her favorite small indulgences from time to time. “I always have a small piece of dark chocolate — it tells my body that I'm done with my meal. In my experience, if you're craving something and deny yourself, you wind up eating five other things, and then you eat the thing you're craving anyway.”

Read on to see the photos that prove they work—and to get summer-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. Jennifer Lopez

"I'm in the best shape of my life," Jennifer Lopez, 52, recently admitted in a May 2021 cover story for InStyle's The Beauty Issue. While she’s always been a fitness inspiration, her workouts have become more efficient as she has aged. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she revealed. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!"

2. Heather Graham

Heather Graham, 51, revealed a few of her stay-fit secrets to Refinery29. Not only does she avoid complex carbohydrates—white flour and sugar—but she does a lot of yoga (sometimes multiple workouts a day) and pilates.

3. Demi Moore

Demi Moore, a longtime yogi, recently upped her workout game with the help of at-home workout classes via The Mirror. The 58-year-old also enjoys going on hikes with her family, eats healthy, and doesn’t drink alcohol or do drugs.

4. Catherine Zeta-Jones

Unlike pretty much every other Hollywood star, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 51, doesn’t have a personal trainer. Instead, the Welsh actress trains herself. “I don’t have a trainer. Crazy, right? But I don’t need anyone to motivate me,” she told InStyle. “I love exercise, even things like the elliptical machine and stretching. It’s a legacy of dancing all those years.” According to Catherine she works “at least 45 minutes a day, seven days a week” with some of her favorite workouts being swimming, tennis, peloton, and tap dancing.

5. Paulina Porzikova

Supermodel Paulina Porzikova, 56, didn’t start exercising until she was 40, but now breaks a sweat almost daily. “I try to exercise at least 3-5 days a week. And you know what? I frickin hate it,” she recently revealed in one of her workout videos. “I don’t like to sweat and huff and puff and hurt. If sitting on a couch, eating cake, drinking wine and reading did the same for me as exercise, there would be no contest. BUT. I have come to find out that ‘working out’ is that perfect little pill everyone is looking for. It makes you feel good, look good, good for your brain and body - a small miracle that has to be paid of by a little discomfort.” Her favorite workouts include dancing, rowing, and pilates.

6. Kelly Ripa

Kelly Ripa, 50, refuses to skip a workout "I work out seven days a week," she told In the Know. "And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I'm working or not. If I'm working, maybe I'll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness."

7. Salma Hayek

While Salma Hayek, 54, has revealed a number of times that she hates to work out, she does stay moving and has also discovered a creative way to engage her muscles. "Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn't develop that," she told People. "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles," she continued. "It's restorative yoga. She taught me how to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you're aware of your body, you'd be surprised by the effect it can have."

8. Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston has always maintained one of the fittest bodies in Hollywood, mostly due to her devotion to healthy diet and exercise. She once revealed to InStyle that she works out “almost every day, at least five or six days a week." And “variety is key” when it comes to the 52-year-old’s workout. "Mixing it up is always fun because that way you know you're excited, and it's muscle confusion. It keeps your body awake," she told Women’s Health. Her favorite workouts include cycling, yoga, barre method, Body by Simone and more recently, boxing. "It's the longest workout I've actually stayed with consistently other than yoga," she told InStyle. "There's something about the mental aspect of boxing — the drills, your brain has to work, you're not just sitting on a bike. It's amazing."

9. Elizabeth Hurley

Elizabeth Hurley, 56, doesn’t work out. “I don’t exercise, but I am very active,” she admitted to Harper’s Bazaar. She clarified to Us Weekly in October 2018 that she stays in shape by “being active” which includes “going for walks, stretching, maybe a little yoga or a little Pilates. But I don’t like high impact, high energy sports. I don’t actually think they do you much good. As long as you get your heart rate to the rate you need it to get, which is a fast walk. But you need to do a bit of it.” She does count steps, however, “I walk every day, so I try and hit my 10,000 steps a day and I do some stretching every day. And then sometimes I do a bit more, but that’s enough for me really.”

10. Cindy Crawford

cindy-crawford-instagramCindy Crawford/Instagram

Cindy Crawford, 55, might not be making workout videos these days, but she is still engaging in regular strength and weight training workouts, posting her clips on social media. She also boxes with her husband, golfs, and surfs. She recently told Red magazine that her workouts have evolved from her supermodel days. Instead of working out until she drops, she takes it easier. “Now my goal is not to get hurt. So, I have added a lot more stretching and Pilates, and I don’t feel as compelled to do those tough workouts any more,” she said.

11. Halle Berry

For Halle Berry, 54, fitness is simply a part of her lifestyle. You just have to have the will and the desire. And you have to make up your mind that it's important. That's the hard work that people “always been fit, and have always thought about fitness and taking care of my body,” her approach has evolved. “It's only changed in terms of how I've been adding to my fitness regimen. It used to just be working out with weights, and then I got into Pilates, and then I got into yoga, and now I'm into martial arts."

12. Sharon Stone

Sharon Stone, 63, stays incredibly active and switches up her workouts. "Every time I exercise, I do something different based on which areas need to get in motion," she told Shape. This includes four to five times a week workouts, combining pilates, total-body stretches, strength training, yoga, and dance. She also avoids alcohol and caffeine and eats incredibly healthy, avoiding gluten.

"In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she told InStyle's The Beauty Issue. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!"

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, clearly knows a few things about longevity. The Welsh actress is one of the few Hollywood stars who trains herself. “I don’t have a trainer. Crazy, right? But I don’t need anyone to motivate me,” she told InStyle. “I love exercise, even things like the elliptical machine and stretching. 5. Salma Hayek

At 56, Salma Hayek is still sizzling up social media with her swimsuit snaps. In June 2023 she showed off her gorgeous curves in a bathing suit, making it hard to believe her claims that she hates to work out. "Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn't develop that," she told People. "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles.” Salma claims "restorative yoga” is responsible for her ageless body. “She taught me how to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you're aware of your body, you'd be surprised by the effect it can have."

6. Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston is famous for her rigorous and regimented approach to exercise. However, in a new interview with Bustle she revealed that after a lifetime of super-aggressive “feel the burn” workouts, she has softened her routine. “I work out about three to four times a week, which is basically all your body really needs. I’ll do Pvolve, and then to switch it up, sometimes I’ll do Pilates, or sometimes I’ll take a hike,” she said. She also focuses on recovery. I love an infrared sauna or an Epsom salt bath. Those are two really good for drawing that lactic acid out, and I’ll even use my hands or a little gua sha on my legs for the same purpose.”

7. Elizabeth Hurley

At 58, many women aren’t thrilled to wear swimsuits – let alone model them. However, Elizabeth Hurley is still her own best bathing suit salesperson. “I don’t exercise, but I am very active,” she confessed to Harper’s Bazaar. Her routine includes “going for walks, stretching, maybe a little yoga or a little Pilates,” she told Us Weekly in October 2018. “But I don’t like high impact, high energy sports. 8. Cindy Crawford

So, I have added a lot more stretching and Pilates, and I don’t feel as compelled to do those tough workouts any more,” she said.

9. Halle Berry

Cindy Crawford is 55 and just as fit as she was during her heyday as one of the top supermodels in the world. Over the weekend she provided evidence to her fans on social media that she is still in sensational shape. “Poolside,” she captioned an image of herself lounging in a one-shoulder swimsuit on an oceanfront pool deck. “Soaking it in.” How does she manage to make 55 look like 25? Read on to see 6 ways Cindy Crawford stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. She Works Out Three Times a Week

Cindy doesn’t workout every day of the week. “I work out with my trainer, Sarah Hagaman, three mornings a week. We do circuit training for the whole body using weights, some machines, and my own body weight with lunges and squats. We usually do about 10 minutes of weights and then a five-minute cardio segment. Right now we are into running stairs, but we switch it up. We repeat the 10-minute weight and five-minute cardio at least three times and then we finish up with abs and stretching,” she told Shape. “If I can squeeze in a hike or bike ride with my husband or a girlfriend during the week, that's just a bonus!”

2. Her Secret Trick to Cardio? Entertainment

New,York,City,,Usa,-,May,2,,2016:,Cindy,CrawfordShutterstock

Crawford told The Cut that she keeps herself entertained while she does cardio. “I put on an audiobook or music while I run the stairs at my house for 20 minutes. I just finished the Amy Schumer one, which was fantastic."

3. She Like Exercising with Friends

Los,Angeles,-,Oct,23:,Cindy,Crawford,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

She is also a fan of group fitness, and regularly takes S Factor pole dancing studio in LA. "[It's] so much fun to do with a group of friends," she told InStyle. "They keep it really dark, so it's almost impossible to feel embarrassed." Hiking with a pal is also her jam. "Once a week, I try to go on a hike with a friend so I combine exercise and girlfriend time—it's the best multitasking," she told The Cut.

4. She Schedules Workout Time

London,,Uk.,December,10,,2018:,Cindy,Crawford,At,The,FashionShutterstock

Cindy doesn’t skip a workout, because she has them built into her schedule. "I think having a scheduled appointment works for me. That way, I don't really have to think about it," she told Shape.

5. Her Diet Is Clean

Los,Angeles,-,Jun,07:,Cindy,Crawford,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Cindy stays away from processed food and keeps her diet focused around wholefoods instead. "Diet-wise, I don't eat crap, and I don't eat a lot of packaged foods," she said in an interview with Into The Gloss. "On a typical weekday I usually have a protein shake for breakfast because it's fast—I need to get the kids out the door… For lunch I'll have salad, sometimes with chicken, sometimes without. For dinner we'll go for sushi, or if we eat at home I'll try to make a meal like turkey meatballs with pasta, a salad, and a vegetable."

6. She Drinks a Lot of Water

Cannes,,France,-,May,15,,2013:,Cindy,Crawford,At,TheShutterstock

Cindy makes hydration a priority. “I also drink three bottles of water during the day, except for when I’m on location, as the bathroom could be 10 minutes away,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. Other go-to beverages include green tea, green tea lattes, and a shake she makes at home with a cup of almond milk, a cup of spinach, a handful of fresh mint, two scoops of Billy Merritt’s Infinity Greens, and protein powder.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
