Nielsen revealed some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Parade. She breaks down what she eats in a day to the publication. Nielsen revealed that she loves organic food. “For breakfast, I eat organic food with high fat content, such as whole milk yogurt, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit and a scrambled egg. I cook it in organic grape seed oil for its high omega content.”

2. She Loves Vegetables

Nielsen tells Parade that she loves to eat vegetables each day. “For dinner, I have at least four or five different vegetables of all colors: purple, orange, green and red. I eat as many colors as possible, including carrots, broccolini, asparagus, cauliflower, kale and more. I eat them raw or steamed and then drizzled with crude virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt.”

3. She Approaches Eating In A Medicinal Way

"The Dreamer - Becoming Karen Blixen" : Photocall - The 5th Canneseries FestivalArnold Jerocki/WireImage

Nielsen revealed her approach to eating to Parade. “I believe eating is a form of medicine, a reasoned way of giving your body and mind what it needs. The same goes for how our environment is affected by the food and products we consume. How does the environment work for us? What is present in nature that ‘feeds’ our food? How do we protect the watersheds and the kids living close by fields and feed lots? These are questions I pose myself on a daily basis. I think all consumers affect their reality by what they choose to buy.”

4. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Nielsen has amazing skin. She revealed her skincare secrets to Parade. “It is proven that working out a minimum of three hours a week at a high level of cardio enhances your skin cells' ability to renew themselves. I also credit my running with deep cleaning my skin with sweat and salt, keeping it yummy. I do not put chemicals on my skin. Up to 60 percent of what you put on your skin is absorbed by your body. It matters, and many products contain known carcinogenic ingredients.”

5. She Does A Lot Of Training

ConnieNielsenConnie Nielsen/Instagram

To prepare for her role in Wonder Woman, Nielsen did a lot of different workouts. She revealed her training process to Haute Living. “I had to do two hours of horseback riding, two hours of very strenuous weight training and conditioning, and two hours of sword fighting,” she says. “The sword fighting was amazing. It was astounding. I loved every second of it. I really love working out anyway. It’s something I really enjoy, what it does to my body and my mind. Getting this whole experience with horses as well was incredible.”

The hit series "FBI" showcases not only gripping crime narratives but also a cast of stars with incredible bodies and unique fitness approaches. From Missy Peregrym's love for athletic roles to Alana de la Garza's trust in her creative process, these actors bring more than just their acting chops to the screen. Sela Ward's poolside laps, Zeeko Zaki's protein-powered transformation, Vedette Lim's desert hikes, and Ebonee Noel's technical dialogue mastery all contribute to their on-screen personas. Even Connie Nielsen's thoughtfully curated diet reflects her commitment to holistic well-being. Join us in exploring the inspiring physical journeys of these "FBI" stars.

1. Missy Peregrym

FBI isn’t the first action role Missy Peregrym had. She previously starred in the cop drama Rookie Blue and in the gymnastics film Stick It. According to an interview in People, these choices are intentional. "I like roles where I get to do stunts and be athletic, so I'm playing the vulnerability every woman has and also the ability to handle crazy situations.”

2. Alana de la Garza

2019 CBS UpfrontManny Carabel/WireImage

Alana de la Garza talked about what she likes about starring in FBIin an interview. “There is something really relaxing about that creative process when you trust the people you work with and you’re able to perform. If you’re able to take words off a page and, luckily, the words that are on our pages are just incredible. The storytellers that we have that are writing these scripts are so good that you can trust that and you’re able to feel creatively complete by trusting the other characters on the show who are also your friends. There is something relaxing about that.”

3. Sela Ward

Sela Ward loves to swim to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Facebook of herself in the pool after doing laps. She captioned the photo, “Got my laps in for the day! Can someone hand me a towel, please?”

4. Zeeko Zaki

Los,Angeles,-,Aug,4:,Zeeko,Zaki,At,The,KindShutterstock

Zeeko Zaki talked about his weight loss in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "The craziest part was just being kind of a different person every year. You get like 10 lbs. a year, I wanted to do it slow," Zaki explained. "But my biggest tip and the thing that I walked away from was a little trick I learned from The 4-Hour Body by Timothy Ferriss — 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up. So give it a shot."

5. Vedette Lim

HBO's "True Blood" Season 4 Premiere - ArrivalsGetty Images

Vedette Lim spends a lot of time outside. Naturally, she likes to do outdoor workouts to keep herself in shape. Lim posted this photo on Instagram of herself going on a hike in the deserts of Arizona. She captioned it, “A visit to my birth state.”

6. Ebonee Noel

New,York,,Ny,-,November,01:,Ebonee,Noel,Attends,TheShutterstock

Ebonee Noel has worked with Dick Wolf in both FBI and Law & Order SVU. She talked about her process with playing her roles in an interview with One Chicago. “I tried to make the technical dialogue be as interesting as possible when delivering it, because I know some of the stuff, I got the script and it’s like what am I talking about here? If I don’t know what I’m talking about, the audience is going to have no idea what I’m talking about. So it’s just fleshing out that jargon and trying to find her joy in figuring these things out.”

7. Connie Nielsen

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,13:,Connie,Nielsen,At,The,WorldShutterstock

In a 2014 interview with Parade, Connie Nielsen talked about her diet. “For breakfast, I eat organic food with high fat content, such as whole milk yogurt, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit and a scrambled egg. I cook it in organic grape seed oil for its high omega content. I drink a cappuccino for its dose of milk and the coffee for its taste, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. At lunch, I might eat smoked salmon with a slice of Mozzarella di Bufala, made from the milk of domestic water buffalo, along with avocado.”

New Amsterdam star Freema Agyeman took some time for herself to rest, relax, and enjoy the ocean on a beautiful boat. Agyeman, who played Dr. Helen Sharpe on the show, shared a beautiful silhouette picture of herself wearing a swimsuit, and gazing out to sea. “Monday musing,” she captioned the post. “Breathe, nourish, and repeat,” a fan commented. Here’s who Agyeman would love to work with, and what’s next for the actress.

1. Treadmill TV

Agyeman watches her favorite TV shows while getting exercise. “Whenever I watch anything, I’m on my treadmill,” she says. “I have my phone in front of my face and walk for an hour and a half. I dance to the beat of my own drum. I don’t tend to watch things when everyone else does. I’ll sit there thinking, ‘Oh yes! That’s exactly why everyone was talking about it. It’s brilliant.’ I did that with Squid Game, and now Black Mirror, which is amazing.”

2. Late Bloomer

Agyeman didn’t want to be an actor until later in life. “Not until really late – [acting] wasn’t on my radar!” she says. “Academia was big in my household and I took school seriously. Opportunities like learning a musical instrument, a foreign language, and studying a wide range of subjects for free that could structure your future weren’t to be sniffed at. It wasn’t till my A-levels when I took all art subjects because something went ‘ping’ in my head.”

3. Bucket List Collaborators

Los,Angeles,-,Sep,12:,Jordan,Peele,At,The,HalloweenShutterstock

Agyeman has a bucket list of people she would love to work with. “I love Taika Waititi in terms of his characterisation, and writing, but also humor,” she says. “I love Jordan Peele’s work for that as well. When it comes to his movies, I like the way he really gives space to his actors, I think, to find things – maybe I’m assuming, but it just feels like there’s a real collaboration there with his actors. It just feels like they do have room, for want of a better word. And then in terms of writers, Phoebe Waller-Bridge… If Bruce Robinson was doing anything today, I’d love to work with him. Withnail & I is like my all-time favorite film!”

4. Dreamland Role

"Dreamland" Special Screening - ArrivalsKarwai Tang/WireImage

Agyeman loved her role on Dreamland with Lily Allen. “It’s a show about women, and it’s female centric, and about female interactions and relationships,” she says. “But you know, no two women’s experiences on this planet are identical. We have commonalities and threads. So, there is a sisterhood that was very much, I think, felt and created on set, but in that community that we formed, we were all so different. We have different stories and experiences, and so you know, depending on what you needed, from who and at any point, you could find it. There’d be laughter, or you could have deep discussions, creative analysis, or entertaining conversations. So, you know, it was very nourishing, I think on set and off.”

5. Dark Comedy

Agyeman would love to do more dark comedies. “We’re laughing at things that are essentially pretty bloody tragic,” she says. “But that’s life; comedy and tragedy walk hand-in-hand in this life for every single one of us. Because of that, I know I was able to lean into what I can rely on, which is a more dramatic performance. But then I had the opportunity to perform some comedy alongside that. There were enough moments where I felt sweaty palms, which always makes me realise that I’m out of my comfort zone, and that’s what I love. I love diversifying in my career. I love the opportunity to grow and to learn. So yeah, I would, is the long answer to that question. Provided it was in another space like this.”

The Night Agent star Luciane Buchanan went on a fun-filled vacation to beautiful Hanalei Bay, Kauai, and the vacation looked incredible. Buchanan, who plays Rose Larkin on the show, shared pictures and video of herself wearing a swimsuit, floating in the ocean with a group of friends. “Aquawoman!” a fan commented. Here’s what Buchanan thinks about The Night Agent’s success and what’s next for her career.

1. Acting Ambitions

Paramount+ & Vanity Fair Celebrate the Launch of "Special Ops: Lioness" with Nicole Kidman & Zoe SaldanaDave Benett/Getty Images

Buchanan wanted to act for as long as she can remember. “I guess it was always there for me, I don’t really remember a time where it wasn’t something I wanted to do,” she says. “I was a 90s square eyed kid and always had a sense of play, so naturally I wanted to do what I saw everyday on TV. I always thought I’d be too shy to ever do anything about it but I am so happy I have. I think the moment I fell in love with it was on Billy 6 years ago now, which was my first experience on set.”

2. American Accent

Radiance Gala Presented By CapeRodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Kiwi native Buchanan had to learn an American accent for her role as Larkin. "That took up a lot of time," she says. "And I had an amazing dialect coach, Doug Abrams, and he spent a lot of time with me... There was definitely some hard words for sure, people's names [for example]."

3. Complex Roles

Buchanan loves the acting roles available for women these days. “I’m loving all the complex badass female roles in TV like, Lagertha from Vikings, Offred in The Handmaid’s Tale and all the characters Tatiana Maslany plays in Orphan Black,” she says. “I’m really lucky with the next characters I’m playing this year – I love them in two completely different ways. I think for me, characters with heart and an evolving journey in a story that I care about are the roles I want to be playing.” Buchanan has good advice for young actors trying to make it. “Just do it. Don’t wait for it to come to you, the more you put into it you will get back (like anything else). Make your own work if jobs aren’t coming in. Learn, learn, learn. Jump in the deep end because it is rewarding, expect hard work and fun times.”

4. Bona Fide Hit

Buchanan is thrilled with the public response to The Night Agent. “I thought nothing of it, I was like, ‘Whatever, see what happens’. I thought I had no chance,” she says. “You put things out there, and being from New Zealand, you think, ‘No one is going to see this’... “A friend of mine said she overheard her co-workers talking about it in the staff room. Another friend in London said a bunch of people were talking about it at the bar. It’s totally overwhelming and I don’t think I’ve processed everything just yet. I’m just kind of hiding in my room.”

5. Millennial Life

Buchanan is grateful for her millennial life. “For me, although we live a crazy time right now with everything that is happening in the world, one thing about being a millennial I do appreciate is the opportunities,” she says. “It’s so huge and I think we forget how lucky we have it (especially in Aotearoa). It’s so cool watching friends and people I grew up with living their dreams. The opportunities I’ve had career wise might not have been there for someone like me back in the day. To be a young educated Tongan woman that gets to live the way I want, I mean it’s pretty cool and I get to own it. Also, my views, my voice and the things that I know would be very different, so I think we are privileged in that way.”

2. Sarah Baker

Sarah Baker played Mindy Volander-Kominsky. She talked about starring on the series with Everything Zoomer. “I stopped learning years ago. [Laughs] But I think that’s really the subtle, quiet beating heart of the show is how do you move along this trajectory we’re all going through? We all get older … and you deal with a lot of things as you get older. There’s health issues and people you love are more likely to pass away. But there are bits of surprises.”

3. Paul Reiser

Los,Angeles,-,Sep,7:,Paul,Reiser,At,The,PaleyfestShutterstock

Paul Reiser played the role of Martin Schneider. He talked about the show with Everything Zoomer. “I think comedy and humour is key to life … And I applaud a place like Netflix for doing a show like this, because there aren’t really a lot of shows that take on aging and take it on in a fun, funny way. And I think seeing with my own family, some of the sort of indignities of life, it’s like ‘What are you gonna do?’ You’re going to laugh or you’re going to cry. So you might as well laugh. And it comes for all of us, so you might as well embrace it. What else can you do?”

4. Kathleen Turner

Kathleen,Turner,Attends,'white,House,Plumbers',Hbo,Tv,Series,PremiereShutterstock

Kathleen Turner played Dr. Roz Volander. She talked about her battle with rheumatoid arthritis to The Guardian. “I am a very stubborn woman. I got back to full strength, as full as I would ever be again. They told me I would be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Now, that was almost 30 years ago. And I look at what I’ve done in 30 years and I think: ‘Well, go to hell!’”

5. Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas played the lead role of Sandy Kominsky. He talked about his wellness routine onLorraine. "I’m great, five years clean and trying [these new diets], something called gluten free and I must give it high recommendations for you out there. I’ve lost a few pounds from it already, and it supposedly helps your memory and your energy and so I highly recommend it."

6. Haley Joel Osment

Haley Joel Osment played Robby on the show. He talked about how he approaches his career in an interview with The Guardian. “Being an actor, you can never count on things being smash successes all the time. I remember having that feeling with The Sixth Sense – like, ‘It’s not always gonna be like that.’”

7. Graham Rogers

Graham Rogers played the role of Jude on the show. He talked about starring on the show Quanticoin an interview. “It [Quantico] has helped a lot. In terms of acting, I think I’ve really grown as an actor. On the show, you know, you get to do it every day. They write such layered characters that you’re kinda always learning new things, and new things to play about your character. You’re out there, people are watching, people are getting to see your work. There are a lot of things that used to intimidate me, not so much anymore.”

8. Susan Sullivan

Los,Angeles,-,Nov,7:,Susan,Sullivan,At,The,4thShutterstock

Susan Sullivan played the role of Eileen on the series. She talked about her wellness in an interview. “I’m 78, and about five years ago, Connell [her longtime partner] was suffering from back issues, and we began a program of high-intensity interval training. A lot of our health issues were relieved. The benefits to strength, memory, balance, and overall well-being from exercise are well-known. Of course, the difficulty is staying with it, and I find the mantra ‘just show up’ helps. I know this sounds simplistic, but a little self-talk is encouraging. You see, I am also giving rather annoying advice to myself on a daily basis.”

9. Lisa Edelstein

Los,Angeles,-,Sep,04:,Lisa,Edelstein,Arrives,For,'theShutterstock

Lisa Edelstein played the role of Phoebe on the show. She talked about her diet in an interview with Parade. “I am a vegetarian. I’ve been a vegetarian for 33 years. I think I’ve been a vegetarian since Methuselah was born. It’s important to me to eat quality, clean food that makes me feel healthy. This makes me a terrible dinner date. There are very few restaurants where I feel better when I leave then when I arrived. But I love cooking for people and I love feeding people delicious food that’s good for them. My friends come here and know they aren’t going to leave hating themselves, but that they will be full and happy.”

10. Emily Osment

Los,Angeles,,Ca,-,April,19,,2017:,Emily,Osment,AtShutterstock

Emily Osment played Theresa on the show. She talked about her acting process in an interview with Backstage. “I’ve always been one to want to memorize everything and just be confident that I know all of the lines, but that changed. After college I realized it’s not as much about being off-book as it is about completely understanding the character and, more so, getting into the mind of your character. By putting yourself in that position, it’s always more beneficial than just sitting down and memorizing the lines.”

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

“I’ve become gentler with myself,” she says of her approach to fitness, which has “definitely evolved” over the years. “I find that I can be gentler on my body and still get the benefits of a great workout,” she told Prevention. She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

She Hydrates

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Does Pilates, Spinning, Elliptical, and Running Workouts

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
