Drew is one of the many stars who start their day with a big glass of lemon water. She told Grub Street that it is "a great way to jump-start your body for the day." The Mayo Clinic endorses the daily habit. "Acid helps break down food. That's why there's so much of it in our stomachs. The acid in lemons may be especially helpful in supplementing stomach acid levels, which tend to decline as we age," they say. "Most of us don't drink enough water. A daily lemon water habit is an easy way to get your day off on the right foot."

Her Diet Is (Mostly) Plant-Based

Drew's approach to health includes healthy eating, which includes a lot of plants. "I eat pretty clean for the most part, which is hard for me to say about other areas of my life. I'm getting better as I get older. I did not [always] take care of myself. I didn't workout or eat healthy, I didn't take care of myself, I probably drank too much. I worked too hard and was an extremist. I resented it when people told me to find the balance. It's different now and I feel like I'm in a much better place. I feel better and I like it. I know when it doesn't feel in balance. I am quick to notice it and get it back on track. I eat a lot of vegetarian and pescatarian food. I eat meat here and there," she told Eating Well

Drew eats healthy, most of the time! "I love my 'cheat meals', too, for sure," she revealed to Eating Well. "I love tacos and enchiladas and refried beans. The other day I had the best ravioli I've ever eaten in my life. I don't eat like that all the time, but having it be a celebratory meal that feels special."

She Does Yoga and Exercises

Drew, who is a longtime yogi, maintains it is great for the body and mind and is one of her go-to self-care practices. She is also a fan of The Class workouts. "Some of my mom friends and I try to do this class together once a week. It's a tough one, but a great way to get Friday going," she told Grubstreet.

She Doesn't Obsess Over Her Weight

Drew doesn't put much emphasis on the numbers on the scale. "I go up and I go down. The rollercoaster of my body is a challenging, but beautiful ride," she wrote in a recent Instagram caption. "That said, there have been times I have stood in my closet and just cried. Hated getting dressed. Didn't feel good! It takes so much for me to look decent. I have to eat just right and work my a— off!"

She Works Hard

Drew maintains that she works hard at maintaining her figure. "I have to work so hard at not being the size of a bus… And it's OK. That is just my journey. That is my karma. I don't know, maybe I was thin and mean in a past life," she toldInStyle. "If I looked decent on anything that I have done since I had my two kids, I have clawed my way there. You can too! However, it is hard to sustain and can take a lot of the joy out of life with food," she added in an Instagram post. "I have to eat just right and work my ass off! I cannot fight that I have the propensity to be the Pillsbury doughboy!"
