But I try and limit it to days when I'm not as busy, because if I do eat a doughnut it usually puts me in a food coma!"

"The guidelines recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefits."

I use a toothbrush on my lips as a lip scrub, occasionally I use a toothbrush with some dark eye shadow on my eye brows if I want to fill them in. And if I want a really thick, textured look with mascara, I put one on my lashes, as well. At home [in London], I discovered it after running out of makeup supplies and trying to make do with what I have. Now, I still use it.”

Lipa loves hot yoga classes and mindfulness sessions. "On an off day—which is usually rare—I'd be at home in London and go to a hot yoga class first thing in the morning," she says. "Then there's a lovely brunch spot next to my yoga class where I get a smoothie and an English breakfast, which feels really comforting… That mindfulness practice is super important to me. Making sure I am healthy inside and out helps me stay on top of everything."

Lipa promises her next album—which will drop in 2024—will be her most personal yet, but on her own terms. “I think it’s a marketing tool: How confessional can you be?” she says about how other artists expose their personal lives. “I also don’t put so much of my life out there for people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way.”

Lipa believes less is more when it comes to her skincare routine. "My skin gets really dry from traveling, and for a while, I tried so many products, and nothing made it better," she says. "What I’ve learned with concealer is that you have to dab it and not rub it — I feel like that’s the only way you can actually cover anything up is if you just keep dabbing, which is something I never knew," she says. "I was like, Why is this not covering anything? I had been rubbing it off instead of dabbing it on."

Lipa has amazing skin. She revealed some of her tips to Vogue. She says that she always remembers to take makeup off. “I have to take my make-up off. It’s a very rare occasion where I just fall asleep with it on. When I was younger I never used to care. I was the kind of person that would just wash my face with soap and call it a day. But when I turned 18, I started really taking care of my skin and being really gentle. Now I use a lot of serums: I have one that I put on before I go to bed, and a different one for the morning that I use after a skin cleanser to take off any make-up.”

Lipa likes to get treatments done on her face. Specifically, she likes to have facials done. “I’ve found some good facialists in different places that people have recommended. I don’t have that much time to go so it’ll be whenever I get the chance, usually once every couple of months.”

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do.
