Euphoria's Maude Apatow in Bathing Suit is "Blue Lagoon Queen"

Maude Apatow is making the most of her trip to Iceland. In her latest Instagram post, the Euphoria star (who plays wallflower playwright Lexi Howard) and daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann enjoys a dip in the country's famous Blue Lagoon, showing off her figure in a swimsuit. She Does Infrared Saunas

Maude and her mother are fans of a certain wellness treatment. "We do infrared sauna sessions together," Mann told Shape, explaining that they exfoliate with a dry brush before every sweat. Luckily for them, they have one of the pricey pieces of equipment at home.

She Loves Cooking

Apatow revealed to Glamour that she took up a culinary hobby during the pandemic. "I've been cooking for my family during quarantine and have found that I like doing it a lot more than I thought," she said. "I love to make spaghetti with tomato sauce. It's simple, but it's my favorite food. I like to try different sauce recipes, and I've been going through the New York Times Cooking app to find them. I've been baking peanut butter cookies a lot too."

She Takes Baths with CBD Salts

Maude has another go-to self-care routine. :I have been taking baths with CBD bath salts from Lord Jones, and they make me feel totally relaxed. I love those. I also love the M-61 quick peel pads. I use those every few days, and my skin has really improved," she told Glamour.

She Uses These Patches to Look More Rested

She also uses Skyn Iceland's under eye patches when she needs to freshen up. "They're so good for depuffing and calming. I put them in the fridge and will wear them on my way to work. When it's really early in the morning, they're the only eye patches that I use where I can see the difference," she told Glamour.

These Are Her Guilty Pleasures

Maude has a few favorite sweet and savory treats. "When I'm at the movie theater, I like Reese's Pieces or Sour Patch Watermelons. But if I'm watching a movie at home, I'll eat rice crackers or wasabi peas. I love spicy cracker type snacks," she told Glamour. Those peas are a fantastic idea, full of plant-based protein. Legumes—foods like beans, peas, and lentils—are rich in resistant starch, which has very minimal impact on your blood sugar levels because it passes through the body undigested like fiber, feeding the healthy bacteria at the bottom of your digestive tract. One study found that people who ate ¾ cup of beans daily weighed 6.6 pounds less than those who didn't, even though the bean eaters consumed, on average, 199 more calories per day.

She Drinks Matcha

Maude is all about a morning jolt. What is her favorite caffeinated beverage? "Mine is probably matcha. I quit coffee and switched to matcha," she told Byrdie. "Is it any surprise that the tea could be beneficial for cognitive function? Various studies have linked improvements in brain function to caffeine consumption, from faster reaction times to enhanced memory, however, matcha may offer something a bit more unique than other caffeinated beverages. Like regular green tea, matcha contains the compound L-theanine, which could produce a calming effect in the brain and decrease stress levels," says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

She Falls Asleep to Podcasts

Maude prioritizes getting her zs. One of her tricks? "I fall asleep to murder podcasts. It makes me feel so relaxed; I just pass out instantly." "Try to resolve your worries or concerns before bedtime. Jot down what's on your mind and then set it aside for tomorrow," says the Mayo Clinic. "Stress management might help. Start with the basics, such as getting organized, setting priorities and delegating tasks. Meditation also can ease anxiety."
