She Eats And Cooks With Veggies
Longoria is open about her love of food and cooking, and she says that veggies are one of her favorite ingredients to use. Longoria tells InStyle, "I love cooking with vegetables and I have a secret for cooking with vegetables, [which] is that they don't need a lot. A lot of people cover them in cheese or cover them in a sauce, and vegetables really only need olive oil."
She Packs Healthy Snacks
It can be difficult to eat healthy while on set, or with a busy schedule, but Longoria says she makes it work. Longoria says that she always had healthy snacks available for her while she was working. "I'd pack some snacks, and put almonds in my purse. I was always prepared because I was always hungry," she told Health.
She Keeps Her Wellness Routine Simple
While many have wondered about Longoria's fitness secrets, she tells People that she doesn't do anything too crazy or complicated. "Everybody thinks there's some kind of secret to looking good, but it's not a secret. It's diet and exercise."
She Mixes Up Her Workouts
Longoria tells People that she does a lot of different types of exercise, and likes to mix it up. "I'm a runner, I do yoga, I do pilates, I do SoulCycle and I'm just constantly mixing it up," she says.
She Drinks A Lot Of Water
Longoria says to People that a big part of her wellness routine is staying hydrated, and she has a method to make sure she's drinking enough water. "I got those 'Starbucks cups' that everybody has. They're the hard cups with the straw. So I just fill those up with water and for some reason, when it has a straw, I'm able to drink way more water than before. It feels like I'm drinking a soda even though I'm not!"
