Evangelina Anderson is having a little fun with her Instagram account. The Argentinian actress, who is Martín Demichelis' wife, posted a split-video of herself jumping into a pool in a green bathing suit—and landing on a snowy field. “Sin escala,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Anderson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s a Lifelong Vegetarian

Anderson has been a vegetarian since she was a child. “People who follow a vegetarian diet and especially a vegan diet may be at risk of getting insufficient vitamin D and vitamin K, both needed for bone health,” says Harvard Health. “Although green leafy vegetables contain some vitamin K, vegans may also need to rely on fortified foods, including some types of soy milk, rice milk, organic orange juice, and breakfast cereals. They may also want to consider taking a vitamin D supplemen

2. She Rides Her Bike

Anderson enjoys riding her bike, which is a great form of cardio. “One of the major benefits of cycling is that it’s low-impact,” says Jaclyn Kubiak, PT, DPT. “Your hamstrings are being activated at about 17%, your quadriceps at 17% and the glutes are at 15 to 17%.”

3. She Loves To Swim

Anderson loves swimming, especially underwater. “Swimming is the fourth most popular sports activity in the United States and a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity,” says the CDC. “Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. This can also lead to improved health for people with diabetes and heart disease. Swimmers have about half the risk of death compared with inactive people. People report enjoying water-based exercise more than exercising on land. They can also exercise longer in water than on land without increased effort or joint or muscle pain.”

4. She Enjoys Beer

Anderson enjoys the occasional beer—especially at Oktoberfest in Munich. “The main ingredient is usually pure, spring water from a reliable source,” says Jim Collins, MD. “It contains no cholesterol or fat, but has low to moderate levels of carbohydrates. Beer does contain an average of 25mg of salt, which isn’t all that bad. And, the good news is that most beers contain protein, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamins B, B2, and B6.”

5. She Skis

Anderson loves hitting the slopes with her family. “Skiing gets you outdoors in the winter when we often end up on the couch and are passive,” says physical therapist Scott Tremmel. “We’re just not as active when the cold weather sets in, but skiing keeps you moving to continue to build up your endurance. When you’re skiing, you’re often out with a group of friends and you’re socializing. You’re getting fresh air and taking in the beautiful scenery around you. It’s good for your emotional health.”

Eleonora likes the military approach to fitness. “I like activities that challenge you,” she told Starbene. “My passion is bootcamp, a circuit of exercises to be done consecutively and without breaks for an hour. A massacre, but it’s in my heart.”

2. She Boxes

Another way Eleonora stays in fighting form? She packs a mean punch. “I also practice boxing,” she told the publication. “Unlike traditional boxing that requires you to spar with a partner, fitness boxing for older adults involves throwing punches at the air or at a punching bag, usually in a class. There are two main types of these exercise classes. In one, you follow a leader and do a series of boxing moves all choreographed to bouncy music, similar to an aerobics class. The moves include a combination of large, sweeping punches (crosses, hooks, uppercuts); smaller punches (jabs); squats (ducks); and short, quick steps forward and back. The other type of exercise class involves strength training, stretching, and hitting a punching bag,” says Harvard Health.

3. She Free Climbs

Eleonora also likes breaking a sweat out in nature. Not only does she hike, but she free climbs. “When I’m in Ortisei, my mountain, I climb. Free climbing is fantastic. I don’t look back. I just think about how to to the holds,” she told Starbene.

4. She Reads to Relax

How does Eleonora relax? “I read psychology essays and textbooks. The human mind is a fascinating puzzle that I try to understand better. And then it also helps me in relationships with others.”

5. She Embraces Her “Flaws”

Eleonora is all about self love. “I like myself how many women like each other: Seeing their flaws, but loving them all,” she told Starbene. “Take my left thumb; it’s all wrong, but it’s exactly the same as my dad had. I would not change it for the world. For me it is not a strange finger but a beautiful memory.”

Estoy tan feliz de seguir enriqueciéndome en este hermoso camino. Enseñando con amor y compasión ♥️ #yoga #yogainspiration,” she wrote. Roughly translated: “Now yes... Officially a yoga teacher 🧘 The practice of yoga gives me different tools that support not only my physical health but also happiness. I am so happy to continue enriching myself on this beautiful path. Teaching with love and compassion ♥️ #yoga #yogainspiration.”

2. She Hikes

Evangelina shared a photo while she was “hiking.” “Cardio machines in the gym can provide numerous benefits, but doing the same movement pattern over and over again could potentially cause an overuse injury. Walking, hiking or running on terrain that is constantly changing teaches the body how to adapt to a changing environment. In addition, a constantly changing surface can enhance the strength of your connective tissue, which may help you avoid certain injuries,” says ACE Fitness.

3. She Has a Dog and Pets are Great For Your Health

“Nosotras ♥️ #pouppée,” she captioned a photo of her and her pup. “Exercise improves heart health because it helps you maintain a healthy weight and controls blood sugar. And dogs can be great mood boosters,” says the Mayo Clinic. "Dogs almost universally will have those traits of loyalty, love, cheerful attitude, living in the moment, and expressing affection," says Dr. Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, a Mayo Clinic cardiologist. "What we found was that those who own a pet, particularly a dog, were healthier from the cardiovascular standpoint," says Dr. Lopez-Jimenez.

4. She Skis

“Strength training that focuses on the major muscle groups in the legs, especially those used in skiing, can help skiers stabilize and control their bodies. Core exercises to help link upper and lower body movements are also important, as are balance exercises that emphasize stability,” says the Mayo Clinic. “‘Ski-specific’ exercises can help train for the side-to-side motions required by the sport. One simple but effective exercise to prepare for skiing is to practice jumping from side to side over a line of tape on the floor, using both feet and then using one foot at a time.”

5. She Rides Her Bike

Evangelina shared a photo of her with her bicycle. “Cycling has many benefits for your body, too. You'll get an amazing cardio workout that challenges your legs and core muscles with minimal stress to your joints. Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
