Ginger revealed her anorexia battle on Dancing with the Stars. "It's a moment in my life that I've not shared with a lot of people," she told People. "It's not something I'm proud of because it's a disease that I chose."

She Exercises

Ginger works out with trainer Mark Langowski, the founder of Body by Mark. "I went through my last pregnancy with him and he kept me in really great shape. He got me ready for Dancing right after," she told Us. Her workouts are a combination of cardio boxing and also bodyweight exercises. "We used weighted ropes. I was dying!" she said.

When one of her followers tried to insinuate that Hollywood pressured her to be thin, Ginger responded. "Hmmm I rarely get called skinny (athletic more often) -have a BMI of around 21 — I would think this is about right for me 🙂 I've weighed the same (barring pregnancy) for almost two decades. Definitely not Hollywood," she said in a tweet.

Ginger recently embarked on a fitness challenge. Her goal? To be strong. "After having two babies, my challenge could naturally be, "OK, it's been almost a year since I had a baby. I want to get my body back," she said in the GMA story. "But I'm more realistic than that. I don't want my old body. I'm a mom now. I want a better, stronger body. I want it strong, efficient and healthy — not just for me but for my husband and kids."
