Christensen revealed her wellness secrets to IntoTheGloss. She says that she does a variety of different things to stay in shape. “I box to work out, and I’ve been doing it for 12 years, three times a week. If I’m traveling I might run or swim and go to some yoga classes. I always thought [exercise] was annoying, but now I really dig it.”

2. She Takes Care Of Her Hair

Christensen has amazing hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. She revealed some of her secrets to IntoTheGloss. “My hair is very good for the [modeling] business as it’s easy to work with and has a dry texture. But in real life all of that doesn’t work. To keep it healthy, I’ve been using pure coconut oil as a mask, and I will leave it in for hours or all day if I’m working from home. Then I might spray in some leave-in conditioner or a little hair serum.”

3. She Gets Facials

Christensen says that she makes sure to take care of her skin. She tells IntoTheGloss that she gets facials on a regular basis. “I’ve been pushing myself to go to facials more because it really makes a difference. So I go to Joanna Vargas, who is wonderful. I really look forward to our sessions because we can talk forever, but the actual treatment is also amazing. I sent a few girlfriends there from Denmark, and they came out feeling super invigorated and fresh-looking. Maybe once a year, I’ll go to Christine Chin for full extractions of whatever is in there.”

4. She Works Out To Eat Her Favorite Foods

Christensen opened up about her approach to eating and exercise in an interview. She says that she’s motivated by her favorite indulgences and to be healthier. “I work out to make myself stronger, so that my body can be healthy and I can move gracefully. [And so I can eat] pasta and cheese. I just would not be able to cut it out. Food is one of my favourite things in life.”

5. She Meditates In Water

In the same interview, Christensen says that she struggles to meditate. However, she does have a secret to doing this. “I do a lot of things on my own, at my own pace, in my own little universe. When I’m in water, that’s the highest form of meditation I can experience for sure… I want to be in it and around it as much as possible. When I go upstate, as soon as I arrive I just run to the river and throw myself in. It makes me feel alive.”

Filipino star Sheena Halili is determined not to let preconceived notions about motherhood keep her out of sexy swimsuits. The TV host posted a beautiful snap of herself wearing a black two-piece on the beach, looking happy and healthy. “People have been talking about what kind of swimsuits moms should wear and why is that? There shouldn't be a ‘one size fits all’ when you're dressing as a mom. As long as you're comfortable in it--no matter how much skin you're showing (or not!) you should go on and wear it! 😘,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Halili stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Scuba Dives

Halili is a big fan of scuba diving, and practises as much as she can. “In addition to being a good cardio workout, scuba diving is a great way to build muscle strength and endurance,” says Scuba.com. “Swimming, especially against a current, forces divers to use muscles in their legs, core, and arms. This effort helps to build lean muscle mass and promote muscular endurance. This makes scuba diving a great way to increase strength without putting too much stress on your joints. And don’t forget about those tanks! Carrying scuba tanks and other gear is another way to improve upper body strength. Additionally, lifting tanks activates muscles in your arms, back, and core, making diving a true full body workout!”

2. She Always Makes Space For ‘Alone Time’

Halili takes ‘me-time’ coffee breaks whenever she can. “As a psychologist, I know the research, and the research is clear: Alone time is essential for emotional/mental/ spiritual/social/physical health, and a key element of true happiness,” says Dr. Christina Hibbert. “By ‘alone time’ what I really mean is time away from your role as a mother—time to be YOU, to unwind, relax, rest, revive. This can include taking a nap, sleeping in, reading, hiking, going out with a friend, doing a project or activity you enjoy, or anything that helps you feel like the real you and builds your health and strength. Some need more or less alone time, but all will benefit from a few minutes each day, hours each week, and/or days away each year.”

3. She Loves to Swim

Halili is an avid swimmer and loves spending time in the water. “Swimmers have about half the risk of death compared with inactive people,” says the CDC. “People report enjoying water-based exercise more than exercising on land. They can also exercise longer in water than on land without increased effort or joint or muscle pain.”

4. She Uses a Flotation Pod

Halili loves using a flotation pod for relaxation and stress relief. “Healing our body makes us a better person, a better wife & a better mom! #gratitude 🧘 🏻‍♀,” she captioned an Instagram snap of herself using the device. “The flotation pod is a sensory deprivation chamber with water saturated with 360-540kgs of Epsom Salt (aka Magnesium sulfate) used to create buoyancy so you float effortlessly. Additionally, the water is heated to your body’s skin surface temperature, about 34°C. This treatment encourages the brain & body to rebalance itself without intervening external stressors. Floating triggers physiological relaxation, helps relieve physical stress like joint pains, and aches, reduces mental stress like anxiety, depression, lowers cortisol and blood pressure, aids in getting restful sleep, enhances creativity, and boosts overall disposition.”

5. She Loves Pilates

Halili is a big fan of Pilates, and continued practicing it throughout her pregnancy in 2020. “Oftentimes, people feel that their body has been compressed, tense, and tight beforehand but leave the studio feeling more loose and more aware of their body,” says Marina Kaydanova, founder of BK Pilates in New York City.

Helena Christensen is swimming in a cold river – in her swimsuit. The Danish supermodel shows off her forever young body in two of her latest social media posts, wearing a swimsuit while taking a dip in freezing waters. “Perfect day for a river swim,” she captioned one of the posts. 1. She Loves Ice Baths

Helena likes to soak in cool water. “Freezing your ass off-benefits,” she wrote in the caption of a recent Instagram post. She added that ice baths can help reduce stress, boost the immune system, relieve pain, combat inflammation and arthritis with anti-Inflammatory properties, boost your metabolism, help with weight loss, improve circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, “oh and it makes your happier,” she added. “Start little by little and work your way up to 10mins, I’m not there yet 🥶 cold showers and bathtubs with ice works too.” She loves soaking in cold water outdoors. “Cold water swimming season has begun,” she captioned a post.

2. She Dances

Helena loves pole dancing. “It is the hardest physical activity I have ever done in my life and I have so much awe and respect for pole dancers. It's like virtual ballet to me, so the perception of it as seedy doesn't even annoy me; it goes right over the top of my head. To people who think like that, I want to say, 'well, you just go try it,” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar UK.

3. She Sprints

Harper's Bazaar "Women Of The Year" Awards 2022Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images

“Sprint, don't run, because that immediately sparks your metabolism and stuns your body by engaging your muscle groups in a very explosive way,” Helena told Harper’s Bazaar. “I can't run for 40 minutes at the same pace, listening to music. I will do 20 minutes and then I'm dying. I don't do the long, methodical routines of swimming 40 laps either. I want to be in the ocean fighting waves, not being in the pool staring at the clock and only seven minutes has passed when I'm already exhausted."

4. She Incorporates Nature into Exercise

"I think it's important to shake it up and do as many different forms of workout as possible, but also to incorporate nature into them," Helena told the Daily Mail. "Swim in the ocean, swim in rivers, swim in lakes. Hiking, trekking, chopping wood – it's the best way of working out, because it doesn't really feel like a workout. It feels like you're alive."

5. She Does Yoga

Helena is a yogi. "It took me years to get into yoga because I wasn't into the whole spiritual thing. I didn't want to go to a class and have to chant, though I know it helps so many people. I finally found a place where we get right into it, and I end up leaving completely re-energised and totally sweaty,” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar.

6. She Doesn’t Diet

Helena stays away from diets. "I’m not the kind of person who will limit myself to any kind of food,” she told Allure. “I could not live without bread and pasta. I eat real butter and drink whole milk. And I’m obsessed with Japanese food and Moroccan stews. So when I think about working out, yes, it’s good for the mind — but it’s also because I eat a hell of a lot of food."

7. She Meditates

Helena also meditates "I can’t just sit still and think of a mantra or repeat a thought or a word. But there are other ways of finding your stillness,” she told Allure. “Sometimes I do it by organizing or cleaning. I recently took up piano again, and that is a very good way of being in a calm zone by myself and using my mind differently. That’s my form of meditation. The key is to find what works for you."

8. She Sleeps

"I feel absolutely the best when I have had good sleep,” Helena told Harper’s Bazaar UK. “That’s my number one priority. I actually think it is the number one priority for most people. It just changes your entire day - when you haven't had enough sleep and also when you have."

9. She Boxes

Helana also loves boxing. "For me, working out is about instant gratification; I want to see changes if I’m going to put the effort in! My thing is boxing - I like to feel strong,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Boxing might seem like a male-orientated sport but there are as many women where I go and that is a very authentic, sweaty club.”

1. She Is Real About Her Body

Catherine doesn’t believe in pretending that her body is perfect. “I woke up today and thought I want to be a bit more real on here.. so I took these photos,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I train almost everyday and am careful of what I eat, I’m aware this isn’t very bad or “poor me” etc but I’m just showing i have loose skin after 2 kids that is wrinkly and crepey and yes sometimes it bothers me because it isn’t the Instagram version of “perfection” I am always seeing. I am my biggest critic and can be super harsh on myself always thinking of trying to be perfect, I’ve struggled with a weight complex my whole life but As I’m getting older I’m becoming more aware that if I as a fully grown adult woman can be so impacted by the Instagram version of perfection how will our young daughters be ? What pressure will they feel? I think it’s important to not let the idea of perfection be confused with being the best version of yourself. I’ve personally struggled with this a lot but am learning to accept myself more. I grew two beautiful children inside that stomach and yes it’s crepey and wrinkled when I squash it together 😂 but so what? It’s real life ✌️ Just thinking let’s try embrace our flaws more and accept ourselves fully.”

2. She Does Pilates

Catherine’s favorite workout is pilates. “Keep moving, keep stretching 🙆‍♀️ Back in my happy place,” she captioned an Instagram post of herself on her reformer. In another post she thanks her pilates instructor, Holly Bramley for helping her “stay toned, flexible and strong,” she writes. “Your classes are so challenging I love it!”

3. She Does Yoga

Catherine also does yoga. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4. She Soaks in Hot Water

Catherine Harding2Catherine Harding/Instagram

Catherine enjoys soaking in hot water, in a jacuzzi or bathtub. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

5. She Does Cold Plunges

Catherine Harding1Catherine Harding/Instagram

In her latest post, Catherine reveals that she “is on a real health kick at the moment trying new things and just posting this to be accountable.” In the photo she sits in a freezing cold bathtub for four minutes. “It feels good,” she gushes after getting out. “Such a weird sensation that comes all over your entire body."

However, I try to avoid eating carbs and especially before a photo-shoot. I also try to limit my amount of red meat intake. I guess you can describe my diet as a Mediterranean, wholesome and vegetable-based diet.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
