Iskra Lawrence in Bathing Suit Touts "Size Inclusivity"

Here’s how she stays so fit.

Iskra Larence is heating up Miami in her swimsuit. The British model flaunts her famous figure in a bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts, promoting size inclusivity. "Size inclusivity should never be performative and often is because the majority of the industry has the thin privilege to be able to shop at all stores / fit into the normal brand sizing of 0-12 US (I have that privilege) but there are stores that don't go upto size XL or don't stock it in store," she writes. "There is still a long way to go, but I hope brands learn to ask for help," she continues. "Here's to keeping the conversation at the forefront at a time when inclusion is diminishing and our bodies are being called a trend." How does she stay so fit? She Works Out Three Times a Week

Iskra sets a goal of hitting the gym three times a week, even if it's just for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. "That has fueled me and that has made me feel great," she told Shape. "I was hoping it was gonna be every day, but that's also unrealistic."

She Drinks Smoothies

Iskra, who has partnered with Vital Proteins, drinks a Marine Collagen shake in the morning. A self-proclaimed "flexitarian," she maintains she loves getting collagen sourced from wild-caught cod. "I'm a big fish girl," she joked to Shape.

She Nourishes Her Body with Food

Iskra uses food to "Nourish my body," she tells Refinery29. "There was a time when I had a rocky relationship with food and my body, and I'll never forget how good feeling free around food feels, so I make sure I cherish it everyday and eat food that I enjoy and is nourishing."

She Goes for Walks

What does Iska do when she is feeling herself burning out? "Switch off my phone and go outside for a walk with my family," she told Refinery29. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace

She Drinks a Lot of Water

Hydration is a priority for Iskra. The first thing she does in the morning is "drink water," she told Refinery. She also declares herself "a water and juice girl," maintaining that she doesn't drink any coffee.

She Takes Ice Baths

This week while in Miami Iskra took the plunge in 5 degree water. "Watch out Wim Hof," she captioned the post. "This is by far the coldest plunge experience ever 5degrees."

She Does Strength Training

Iskra is an investor in Oxefit XS1 home gym, an at-home strength training system. "I was obsessed from the first time I saw it! I was so excited that it replaced my need for multiple pieces of equipment and fits into my small home office (and we rent so I'm happy it is free standing not wall mounted)😍 Shoutout to the Oxefit team I'm loving the new feature that remembers the exact weight and settings from my previous workout – so convenient," she captioned a recent post.
