She Does Cardio

She Does Strength Training

Janella also works out at the gym doing strength training exercises. "Slowly getting stronger. Slowly getting better. Slowly getting to where I want to be," she captioned a post of herself at the gym.

She Drinks Coffee

Janella also loves drinking coffee. "Afternoon cuppa joe, anyone?" she captioned a post of herself caffeinating. Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death.

She Rides Horses

Janella also rides horses. "Remembering the day I wore Emma's iconic white nightgown for the first time to equestrian practice," she captioned a photo of herself on horseback. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

She Hikes

Janella also loves taking a hike outdoors. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

She Swims

You can find Janella swimming, especially while on vacation. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
