January Jones in a bathing suit is all "heart" this weekend, sharing an image of herself in a swimsuit with a heart emoji. The Mad Men star attracted a number of comments, from “Wow” to “Wooow” to “Happy 4th, Queen” and “There’s the summer backyard beauty we’ve been waiting for.” “Progress report: feelin good and limber again! Just a couple holes in my knee, stitches out later today 💃🏼,” she said earlier in the week, as she’s recovering from a knee injury. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways January Jones stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Doesn’t Deprive Herself

“I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I want something—steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it. There’s no diet or strict set of rules. Last winter, I started drinking celery juice every day, and I’ve seen amazing results in my energy, digestion, and skin and how I sleep. I have that in the morning, then I take my vitamins and drink coffee. I don’t get hungry until around 10 a.m., but since I usually do Lagree at 9:30, I’ll make myself eat a banana beforehand so I don’t get too shaky. Then I have a MacroBar afterward and eat lunch around 11:30—usually salad, soup, or a sandwich,” she told Shape.

2. Here’s Her Take on Working Out

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

January tries “the Lagree Method, also known as the Megaformer Workout, is a low-impact, high-intensity method that tightens and tones in as little as 20-minutes a session.” “Lagree is quite difficult, but I’ve found that it’s the only thing that really makes me feel stronger, and I’m loving it. The music is good and there’s always a different routine, so it doesn’t get boring. There are 10 of us in the class, and I like having women on both sides of me to push me. When I did the private Pilates lessons a couple of years ago, I just saw myself getting lazy with it because there wasn’t that drive for competition. For me, that’s what’s motivating. If there’s someone strong next to me, I definitely want to up my game. I find myself looking forward to it more than I’ve ever looked forward to a workout,” she told Shape.

3. She Loves Skin Care

“I love rituals. My skin-care regimen is my favorite thing to do. In the morning I exfoliate, then I apply a serum and a cream. At night I have different serums and products that I use, and they’re all lined up in order. My skin-care routine is my only way to have a little control over my life,” she told Shape.

4. She Takes These Supplements

“I'll tell you what I take. I take lithospheric vitamin C, I take a probiotic, an enzyme, turmeric, DHA and milk thistle for your liver. And I take Vitamin B-12 biotin, chlorophyll, vitamin D-3 with K2. It's a serum. It depends. And then if I'm sick, I take a whole other amount of things like oregano and all that stuff,” she told Violet Grey.

5. She Eats Salmon

January, who’s a mom, will sometimes have a healthy dinner of salmon. “Fish are the best food source of omega-3 fatty acids. Some plants also contain omega-3 fatty acids,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids can improve your cardiovascular health. Most of this research involves EPA + DHA, but ALA can also help improve your health. Benefits of including omega-3 fatty acids in your diet include:

  • Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease.
  • Reduced risk of death if you have cardiovascular disease.
  • Reduced risk of sudden cardiac death caused by an abnormal heart rhythm.”

January Jones, star of Mad Men, The Politician and Spinning Out, is ready for some vitamin D, if not the suntan. “Gonna be another pasty girl summer 🌞,” the 44-year-old captioned a brand new swimsuit photo on her social media. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways January Jones stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Moderates Her Diet Without Restrictions

"I don't deprive myself of anything. If I want something—steak, a bagel—I'll eat it. There's no diet or strict set of rules," she once told Shape. ”Aim for a combined seven - nine servings of fruits and vegetables each day provides a variety of antioxidants, b-vitamins, dietary fiber and a host of additional plant chemicals known to help prevent disease,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “Eat a variety of orange carrots and oranges, red peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, and peaches, purple plums, green celery, lettuce, and kiwis and yellow peppers and bananas. Choosing a rainbow of colors helps ensure a diverse intake of nutrients.”

2. She Uses Face Masks

CTAOP's Night Out 2021Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images

Speaking of skin, Jones uses hydrating face masks. "These are my current favorite masks for exfoliating and moisture," she once explained in an Instagram caption. "These change all the time depending on what my skin is needing, (factoring in weather, travel and stress)." “When it comes to skin care I tell all my patients that your priority should be cleansing, daily sunscreen and daily moisturizing,” Shilpi Khetarpal, MD told the Cleveland Clinic. “But a face mask can be complimentary to a good skin care routine.”

3. Here’s Her Workout

“Lagree is quite difficult, but I’ve found that it’s the only thing that really makes me feel stronger, and I’m loving it. 4. She Likes Bubble Baths

“Many people benefit from practices such as deep breathing, tai chi, yoga, meditation, mindfulness or being in nature. Set aside time for yourself,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Get a massage, soak in a bubble bath, dance, listen to music, watch a comedy — whatever helps you relax. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help you manage stress. Eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and get enough sleep. Make a conscious effort to spend less time in front of a screen — television, tablet, computer and phone — and more time relaxing.”

5. She Drinks Celery Juice

“Juicing extracts the juice from fresh fruits or vegetables. The liquid contains most of the vitamins, minerals and plant chemicals (phytonutrients) found in the fruit. However, whole fruits and vegetables also have healthy fiber, which is lost during most juicing,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Paola Mayfield, the 90 Day Fiancé star, has been many things—an entrepreneur, fitness coach, nutrition coach, model, and now she’s a pro wrestler. The results of her workouts were on full display in a recent swimsuit photo which she captioned with all heart emojis. “😍😍😍 cuanta belleza,” commented fellow wrestler Martibel Payano. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Paola Mayfield stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Wrestling Clicked for Her

Mayfield got into wrestling after watching the movie Fighting with My Family. “I have done so many things in my life—modeling, acting. I was a shoe designer and for me I never felt fulfilled. I'm a personal trainer but that is something that I do for people. You know, I love training people. I love helping people with their fitness journey, but what about me? So when I watch this movie and I heard the part, what she was saying, when she gets into the ring, how to feels about it. So it kind of clicked for me. I feel like when I get into the ring, I can be this person, I can be this strong person. I can do so many things in the ring that like me in my normal life, I wouldn't do,” she told The Wrassingh Show.

2. She Says It’s Never Too Late to Try Something New

“I didn't grow up in wrestling. I didn't grow up watching wrestling and it's not common in Colombia. And that's why for me starting, I don't wanna say that I'm starting late because it's never too late to start something that you feel passionate about, because you can do so many things, but what if something else is what you are supposed to do? And I feel that that's me right now: Wrestling. If I knew about wrestling, I would've done this while ago, but the time is right now and I'm here,” she said on The Wrassingh Show.

3. She Works Out Hard

“You normally have three to four classes a week. Sometimes I have to travel to other states to train with other people, because it requires me for what I'm working right now. My current coach is Loki and he's very strict. He's very intense with his training. I'm always learning. Look, when you have passion for something, you just go and learn it and you do everything it takes to actually make it work and make it happen. And that's what I'm doing. And not just that, I also have to do my own training, which is something that requires weights, completely different. So I have to” work hard “to be among the best ones,” she said on The Wrassingh Show.

4. The Show Comes With “Ups and Downs”

TCA Summer Event 2018Getty Images

“The show” 90 Day Fiancé "comes with a lot of ups and downs. Like I feel like I have got so much hate just to be who I am and in some way it does affect me and it has affected me before. But I have so many awesome fans, that I just love to communicate with them. And when they tell me that they, with my story, I just love them. That's what I, it keeps me up like, okay, I can give bringing the” good times," she told Us Weekly.

5. She Went Vegan

Healthy,Vegan,Jackfruit,TacosShutterstock

As a certified nutrition coach, Paola was “always ready to give my clients the best.” That includes herself. After pregnancy, “I started to feel sick because all of the junk food and the fast food.” She added, “My stomach was hurting, my stomach was always bloated, and I was feeling super super bad, so I went to the doctor.” Finding them no help, she turned vegan and feels better. She also does it “out of respect for the animals.”

January Jones has had some amazing roles in her career. She played Emma Frost in the X-Men film series. She starred on the hit drama, Mad Men. She also starred in the comedy series, The Last Man On Earth. Jones is also a former model, and still looks amazing. Jones shared a new selfie of herself at the beach on her Instagram story. Read on to see 5 ways January Jones stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Doesn’t Get Embarrassed

GettyImages-1325657352Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images

Jones opened up about her life and career in an interview with Shape. She says that she isn’t embarrassed anymore. “I feel comfortable in my skin,” she says. “Public opinion doesn’t matter to me. Yesterday I went to a birthday party with my son, and I wore humongous red sweatpants because I had my period. My sister said, ‘Are you actually wearing those out?’ I thought about it for a moment, but I still wore them. Who cares? They’re my period pants!”

2. She Improves Her Posture

GettyImages-1204542503Matt Winkelmeyer /Getty Images

Jones talked about her favorite workouts to Shape. She says that she does things that improve her posture. “After I had my son, Xander, I wanted to feel strong because my body had changed so much. As he got bigger and I was hauling around a 20- or 30-pound toddler, my lower back gave out and I saw my shoulders starting to curl and hunch. I wanted to do something for my posture and core strength. Two or three years ago I started doing barre classes, and after that I took regular private Pilates lessons. Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates. I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked.”

3. She Does Workouts She Enjoys

GettyImages-882560300Stefanie Keenan/Getty Images

For Jones, working out has to be enjoyable. She tells Shape that she sticks with Lagree Pilates because she enjoys it. “Lagree is quite difficult, but I’ve found that it’s the only thing that really makes me feel stronger, and I’m loving it. The music is good and there’s always a different routine, so it doesn’t get boring.”

4. She Goes To Classes

Jones likes to go to Lagree Pilates classes. She tells Shape that going to classes helps her stay motivated. “There are 10 of us in the class, and I like having women on both sides of me to push me,” Jones explained. “When I did the private Pilates lessons a couple of years ago, I just saw myself getting lazy with it because there wasn’t that drive for competition. For me, that’s what’s motivating. If there’s someone strong next to me, I definitely want to up my game. I find myself looking forward to it more than I’ve ever looked forward to a workout.”

5. She Does At-Home Skincare

january-jones-freckledJanuary Jones / Instagram

Jones has amazing skin, and she shared some of her tips to Into The Gloss. She says that she likes to do at-home skincare routines. “I like to take 20 minutes to lay in the bath, with a mask in my hair and a mask on my face,” Jones says. “I think I started really caring about my skin when I was modeling, just because we have to wear so much makeup. I don't get facials professionally done, either—I like to do them at home. I find something very calming and therapeutic about treatments at home.”

January Jones is sweating away in the sun this summer…in her swimsuit! The Mad Men star flaunts her gorgeous body in a polka dot swimsuit via her latest social media post. “102• RIP my grass,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the 44-year-old maintain her fit physique? 1. She Does Pilates

Pilates is January’s go-to workout. "Two or three years ago I started doing barre classes, and after that I took regular private Pilates lessons. Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates," she told Shape in February 2020. "I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better naked."

2. She Also Does Yoga

January also loves to do yoga. She trains with Kirschen, a private yoga instructor based in Los Angeles, and regularly shares photos of their sessions together. “Whether you’re a couch potato or a professional athlete, size and fitness levels do not matter because there are modifications for every yoga pose and beginner classes in every style,” explains Natalie Nevins, DO, a board-certified osteopathic family physician and certified Kundalini Yoga instructor in Hollywood, California to the American Osteopathic Association. “The idea is to explore your limits, not strive for some pretzel-like perfection. It is a great way to get in tune with your body and your inner self.”

3. She Loves Group Fitness

Group,Of,F???,People,Doing,Pilates,Exercises,With,Chair,,Barrel,Shutterstock

January is all about exercise classes because “music is good” and the routine changes so “it doesn’t get boring.” She added to Shape: “I like having women on both sides of me to push me. When I did the private Pilates lessons a couple of years ago, I just saw myself getting lazy with it because there wasn’t that drive for competition. For me, that’s what’s motivating. If there’s someone strong next to me, I definitely want to up my game. I find myself looking forward to it more than I’ve ever looked forward to a workout.”

4. Her Diet Is Healthy, Organic, and Balanced

FARFETCH Beauty Launch PartyStefanie Keenan/Getty Images

“I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I want something—steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it. There’s no diet or strict set of rules,” she dished to Shape about how she eats. “I don’t get hungry until around 10 a.m., but since I usually do Lagree at 9:30, I’ll make myself eat a banana beforehand so I don’t get too shaky. Then I have a MacroBar afterward and eat lunch around 11:30—usually salad, soup, or a sandwich,” she revealed. She also loves to cook and might make salmon with french fries or pasta for herself and son, Xander. “We try to have lots of green veggies,” she added. One way she gets her greens in? “Last winter, I started drinking celery juice every day, and I’ve seen amazing results in my energy, digestion, and skin and how I sleep. I have that in the morning, then I take my vitamins and drink coffee.” She also eats organic. “No antibiotics or hormones in meats is really important to me, and so is eating sustainable fish. I don’t want to be that annoying person in the restaurant who’s like, ‘Where’s this fish from?’ But I do it anyway.”

5. She Does Cardio Barre

NET-A-PORTER and Laquan Smith Host An Intimate Dinner In Los Angeles To Kick Off Oscars WeekendStefanie Keenan/Getty Images

January told InStyle that she likes Cardio Barre, a combination of traditional barre moves with non-stop movements. “I feel better. I feel stronger. It’s muscle, obviously. I gained weight, but I feel tighter and more energetic, and exercising is legit,” she explained.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

Fitness,,Sport,,Training,,Gym,And,Lifestyle,Concept,-,Group,OfShutterstock

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

(Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”
