Kashmera Shah is a successful actress and former Bigg Boss contestant. She’s also one of the most gorgeous women in pop culture, and her recent Instagram post proves it. In it, Shah posed on a boat. She wore an orange bathing suit, with her figure on display. Shah captioned the post, "I think I look better now than I did in my 20s. Thank you god. Love to all.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Kashmera Shah stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Cooks Healthy Food

Vegetarian,Indian,Food.,Dish,With,Rice,,Ogricami,,Spinach,,Carrots,AndShutterstock

Shah opened up about her journey with her weight to Times of India. She says that one of her secrets was cooking healthier foods. “I started cooking during the lockdown which I have never done. I started cooking healthy food and Krushna started losing weight because of me. I began eating healthy food, smaller portions and suddenly in October I checked my weight. Till September I had not checked my weight. Because we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi and make delicious food, I wanted to eat. I decided to check my weight and I lost 11 kgs. I didn't even realise that I had lost so much weight because I did not step out of the house and wore clothes which I wear at home like shorts, t-shirts. We all were shocked.”

2. She Sticks With It

When it comes to weight loss, Shah is consistent. She tells Times of India that she kept motivating herself to work hard. “I told myself, if I can lose 11 kgs then I can get rid of one more. In the last month, I lost two kilos. I was always 56 kgs, now I am 58.”

3. She’s Confident

Shah isn’t going to let her age or profession stop her from feeling confident in herself. She tells TellyChakkar that she’s still confident with herself, and is still showing off her body. “There is this mindset that once a woman becomes a mother, she can’t do bold photoshoots,” she says. “This country is known for its strong women. Why are you telling us to sit at home just because we are mothers?”

4. She Uses Clothes To Motivate Herself

One thing Shah did to motivate herself was buy smaller clothes. “I would wear a 4 size dress, but when I gained weight in December I would not fit in 4 and not even 6. I was fitting into 8 sizes and the large size L became my size. I went to a mall to buy winter clothes because we don't have cold weather here. So, I had not carried a sweater. When I went to buy a sweater, I realised that I had to buy sweaters which were L. I was so upset that I did not buy warm clothes and a sweater in that cold weather. I went and bought all the small 4 sizes. I told myself that I won't wear it this year, but I will make sure to wear it soon. I kept that as a mark. I told myself I eat too much and now I have to look after myself. I came back around Christmas and Krushna also told me let the New Year's go then start. Then we started from January 3. Krushna also started dieting with me.”

5. She Doesn’t Care About Others Opinions

Shah has a lot of confidence, and she doesn’t care what other people say about her. She tells TellyChakkar, “I am not going to let some silly 14-year-old or 24-year-old with their mother’s phone run me down or shake my confidence. I was like this at 19, 29, 39 and today at 49, I am proud to give myself another chance. I am also happy that I am going back to Bigg Boss, it marks my comeback.”

Kashmera Shah is 50 and fit! The Indian actress celebrated the monumental birthday by showing off her fabulous figure in a swimsuit. “A milestone birthday today and my only advice to those who are decades and miles behind me in age as well as spirit… Never Grow Old…Just Age Beautifully,” she wrote. “The less you think of what others think of you the more it will show on your face and body. Love you all my fans and friends. Wait for the next few years for more sinful pictures and even more kickass work in films. And thank u to my husband @krushna30 for always supporting my ambition and always letting me be comfortable with my enviable body ( yes I say it myself as I think we don’t tell ourselves enough how much we love us) Good Luck to the next 50 years.” How does the star manage to look half her age? 1. She Gained Weight Due to IVF

Kashmera explained to The Times of India that she gained weight when undergoing IVF. “I stopped looking after myself,” she admitted. She started eating “anything and at odd times” and failing to exercise. “The entire focus got shifted,” she continued. She ignored herself until January 2020, when she stepped on the scale and realized she had put on over 26 pounds.

2. She Worked with a Nutritionist

Kashmera revealed that her IVF doctor put her in touch with a nutritionist in early January 2020. “So, I started my diet and workout regime,” she continued. During the lockdown she fell into a depression and started losing even more weight. She even started to eat less in fear that she would run out of food due to supply chain issues.

3. Cooking Helped Her Lose Weight

Kashmera found a new hobby during the pandemic. “I started cooking during the lockdown which I have never done. I started cooking healthy food and Krushna started losing weight because of me,” she said about her husband. “I began eating healthy food, smaller portions and suddenly in October I checked my weight.” She discovered she had lost 24 pounds. “I didn't even realise that I had lost so much weight because I did not step out of the house and wore clothes which I wear at home like shorts, t-shirts. We all were shocked.” She went on to lose over four more pounds.

4. It’s All About Discipline

Kashmera believes her weight loss all boiled down to setting goals and actively achieving them. “I realised that discipline is everything,” she explained.

5. The Buddy System Also Helped Her

Kashmera maintains that her weight loss journey motivated her husband as well. “I told him very clearly to eat whatever you want to eat at night, but during the day you will eat what I give you,” she said. As a result, he lost over 15 pounds.

Tia Carrere is celebrating the new year and her birthday in her bathing suit. The Wayne’s World alum shows off her fabulously fit figure in a black swimsuit via one of her latest social media posts. “happynewyear #happybirthday to me :-) Thank you thank you thank you @spychick_6 and #secretislandlair for an epic start to 2023 and the first day of the rest of my life!” she captioned the Instagram snap taken while vacationing in Eleuthera. “You look amazing! Happy New Year and Happy Birthday, Sis!” commented Kelly Hu. Many others, including Nicky Whelan, simply added lots of fire emojis. How does the 56-year-old stay so fit? 1. She Doesn’t Pay as Much Attention to Food and Exercise as She Did In Her 20s

47th Annual Gracie Awards Gala - ArrivalsRodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Tia has explained that her approach to diet and fitness has evolved over the year. “Being 23 and doing Wayne’s World in those short tight dresses and bikinis, I had to pay more attention to food and exercise. I was never unhealthy about it or obsessed, but just aware of what I wanted to look like on film. A 23-year-old metabolism certainly helped though!” she confessed to InBetween. When her role as Lady Danger in AJ and the Queen came along, she “was over the moon” that she “could be who I am right now at this time in my life,” she added. “I’m more voluptuous in my look and the way I express myself. It was liberating being fully myself without feeling self-conscious at all. Meanwhile, my male co-star was on a strict diet and exercise plan for those abs he was showing all the time! Hilarious!”

2. She Believes Inner Beauty Trumps All

Premiere Of Universal Pictures' "Easter Sunday" - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/Getty Images

What is Tia’s message to her teenage daughter? “I am always trying to reinforce the thought that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and that confidence is the most attractive part. Unfortunately, we live in a time of social media and hyper-focus on the image we project in the world. No matter what I say or how many times I say it, she will have to navigate this time in her own way. Adolescence is such a fraught time and now with media, it’s almost too much pressure for these kids,” she told InBetween.

3. She Doesn’t Want to Be a “Plastic Surgery Victim”

Walt Disney's World Premiere of "The Shaggy Dog" - ArrivalsJohn Shearer/WireImage

Tia is embracing the aging process. "When I was first starting, I was just thankful. Being an attractive, young female certainly afforded you some luxuries. People will see you, they are drawn to you. But then as time goes on, as you transition from your 20s to 30s and then 40s and 50s, there are treacherous waters that you need to navigate,” she said in an interview. "If you only value yourself for your physical beauty and youth, you’re going to be lost. Because as time marches on, you can never be the girl that you were now that you’re a woman years later. You have to create a life, and you have to find joy and fulfillment outside of that identity. That’s why you do see these plastic surgery victims – they’re eternally chasing 28. You have to leave that. You have to mature and grow and find fulfillment elsewhere."

4. She “Knows What Works for Her”

20th Century Studio's "Avatar 2: The Way Of Water" U.S. Premiere - ArrivalsFrazer Harrison/WireImage

In August, Carrere explained to Yahoo Life’s "Unapologetically" that posting bikini photos on social media wasn’t her thing. "I would love to get into amazing shape to show a bikini picture, but I prefer one-pieces anyway," she said. "I know what works for me and I know what works for my body and what makes me feel comfortable. I could become a triathlete and go, ‘You know what? I can’t believe I have a 12-pack for the first time in my life,’ and maybe I would want to celebrate that with a bikini picture. But, as of yet, I haven’t gotten to that point."

5. She Is “Comfortable” in Her Skin

Tia told Yahoo that she is "comfortable” in her skin. "I’ve done incredibly well with maintaining a balanced mind, body and spirit for having been in this business for almost 40 years now. And unfortunately, we’ve all seen the carnage along the way. It’s very, very difficult when you’re the product not to take it personally when your stock goes up or down, when people take nasty potshots at you, as they can with easy access now with social media. You really, really have to work on your internal core strength so that the marketplace doesn’t dictate whether you’re happy with yourself,” she said.

Kapoor is a big fan of going for a swim, as you can see in her most recent Instagram post. She has also posted other photos of herself in the pool. She posted this old photo of herself and her daughter spending time in an outdoor pool on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “Sunday mood.”

2. She Accepts Herself As She Gets Older

Kapoor says that one of her wellness secrets is being comfortable with herself. She says that she has developed this confidence as she got older and more sure of herself. “I was obsessed with my body when I was in my twenties,” she says to Vogue. “The beauty about getting older is that you start accepting yourself with all your flaws.”

3. She Does Yoga

Kapoor is a big fan of practicing yoga at home as a way to stay in shape. She posted this set of photos on Instagram of herself doing a side pose and a tree pose on her mat. She captioned it, “Getting back to my yoga practice.” Yoga has a lot of benefits for your body. According to Hopkins Medicine, “Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength.”

4. She Uses Battle Ropes

Kapoor is a fan of doing strength training exercises. Specifically, she’s a fan of using battle ropes to work out. She posted this video of herself at the gym doing different exercises, including using battle ropes, on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Level up.”

5. She Keeps Her Metabolic Rate Up

maheep-kapoor-1Maheep Kapoor/Instagram

Kapoor tells Vogue that one of her secrets to staying healthy is by doing things that keep her metabolic rate up. “I tell every woman who will listen: keep your metabolic rate up with adequate exercise and correct nutrition. Proteins provide the ideal anti-ageing dose and are good for your muscles and bones. Listen to your body.”

Rashmi Gautam missed her vacation days. And she’s making up for it when the pandemic hit. Gautam shared a new post on Instagram of herself on vacation. In it, she sat by the pool enjoying breakfast. Gautam captioned the photo, “This is how your 1st international trip after 2020 feels like.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Doesn’t Care About Criticism

Gautam has no time for criticism. When someone on Twitter commented on her body, she immediately hit back. Gautam wrote, “Well I’m not almost turning 30, that ship sailed quite some time back. And coming to the weight gain it happens sometimes and since we do tv it gets noticed very visibly unlike in films where u get your gaps and time to focus exclusively on yourself.”

2. She’s Comfortable With Herself

In the same post, Gautam revealed that she’s comfortable with herself. “And also, what’s the big deal, it’s after all weight you lose some you gain some. As actresses, yes there are certain expectations from us. But I refuse to go under the knife, or endorse fad diets. Under any circumstance. Each one has a body type there is no set mold to fit in.”

3. She Embraces Aging

One thing Gautam does to feel comfortable with herself is embrace aging. “For some weird reason our society does not accept aging, which is a natural thing,” she says. “You cannot look like a teenager all your life and one should not push their lifestyle to an extent when u only live off soups and salads. Things like these build unwanted pressure on a lot of us and I personally know many who have had to take extreme measures and are battling depression so please be mindful. And I wud rather exit gracefully than go thru unwanted pressure and not have a life.”

4. She Swims

Gautam spends a lot of time in the water. She posted this video of herself in a pool on Instagram. Gautam captioned it, “Once a water baby, always a water baby.” Swimming.org reports that, “Swimming uses all the muscles in the body so whether you swim a gentle breaststroke or hammer butterfly, you will get a full body workout. Plus, exercising in water makes your body work harder so 30 minutes in a pool is worth 45 minutes of the same activity on land.”

5. She’s An Activist

Gautam is a supporter of animal rights. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram highlighting the cause. Gautam posted this photo for Animal Welfare Day. She also shared this post calling for less explosives during Eid celebrations. She captioned it, “The goal here is to save animals and make sure no animals are harmed. Asking to avoid loud noise explosives has become such a big issue.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
