Coffee Therapy

In most of Kat's photos you will find her holding a cup of iced or hot coffee. "Coffee therapy," she captioned one of the images.  Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. In fact, a new 2022 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death.

She Loves Food

Wherever Kat goes, you can find her indulging in local cuisine. "I'm pretty sure I like food more than people," she captioned a post of one of her feasts. Some of her go-to meals include salad, burgers, acai bowls, and fruit.

She Rides Bikes

Kat enjoys riding bikes to get around, especially while vacationing. In addition to being a great form of transportation, the Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is effective for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

She Hydrates

Kat makes sure to replenish her electrolytes with water and energy drinks. "Time to hydrate," she captioned a photo of herself holding a drink. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.
