She drinks olive oil, among other methods, to stay healthy.

Kourtney Kardashian is a wellness icon, and like EF Hutton, when she talks, people listen. So when she says she drinks a tablespoon of olive oil every other day, ears perked up. She Swears by Olive Oil

Kardashian's wellness website Poosh says Extra Virgin Olive Oil "can improve overall brain health thanks to antioxidants that boost memory and mood" and "can strengthen immunity and fight against infections with the help of monounsaturated fats (aka the healthy fats in EVOO) and antioxidants." Read more on Poosh to find out the extra benefits. "Olive oil is rich in fat – but don't let that scare you. While consumption of certain fats, like saturated and trans-fats, are associated with unwanted health outcomes (think increased risk of heart disease factors), consumption of healthier fats can result in some amazing benefits. Since olive oil is rich in "healthy" monounsaturated fat, it should not be viewed in the same light as fat sources like lard and butter," says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

Speaking of Oil, She Uses Coconut Oil

"I use it on my skin, my hair, it's an amazing multi-use product," she says to Grazia. Good idea. "A meta-analysis of 13 studies published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics found that medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) can help you lose weight when they replace long-chain triglycerides (like those from soybean and canola oil) in your diet. And a Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology showed that the MCT in coconut oil can increase diet-induced thermogenesis in humans by as much as 6%," says our sister site Eat This, Not That!

She Likes to Workout

Kardashian works out at least five days a week. "I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up. I have to do something fast to really kill it." "She works hard, too. I'm so proud of her. Like it's so hard to work out, like so hard … She is, like, on and popping right now … She came out of nowhere. I wasn't really expecting that out of her. All of a sudden, she side-swiped me," said her sister Khloé once.

She Tried the Keto Diet

"My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and a half years ago, when I did it for two months," the proud mother of three wrote in a June 2019 blog post. "In my experience, I've found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet," she said, "'Keto' is short for 'ketosis,' a metabolic state that happens when your body switches from burning carbs to burning fat."

Sometimes She Cheats

"I cheat twice a day with a little something sweet after lunch and dinner," she revealed. "But when I did the keto diet, I was very strict six days a week and my cheat day was on Sundays. I'd go to the farmers market before church and get a matcha latte and chocolate croissant from Alfred's. Then, after church, I'd head to Soho House for their buffet (all-you-can-eat waffles with butter and syrup)."
