3. She Eats Healthy

In addition to her workouts, Dutta broke down her diet to the Hindustan Times. She says that she tries to eat as healthy as she can each day. “I attribute weight management to smart eating. A lot of people have breakfast like a king as breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Yes, I agree to that but that is not what my body needs. Instead, I break down my breakfast in two meals. I have to wake up at 6 am every day, now that my daughter has started school. So I have some breakfast at around 6.45-7 am and another meal at around 9-9.30 am.”

Rashmi Gautam missed her vacation days. And she’s making up for it when the pandemic hit. Gautam shared a new post on Instagram of herself on vacation. In it, she sat by the pool enjoying breakfast. Gautam captioned the photo, “This is how your 1st international trip after 2020 feels like.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Rashmi Gautam stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Doesn’t Care About Criticism

Gautam has no time for criticism. When someone on Twitter commented on her body, she immediately hit back. Gautam wrote, “Well I’m not almost turning 30, that ship sailed quite some time back. And coming to the weight gain it happens sometimes and since we do tv it gets noticed very visibly unlike in films where u get your gaps and time to focus exclusively on yourself.”

2. She’s Comfortable With Herself

In the same post, Gautam revealed that she’s comfortable with herself. “And also, what’s the big deal, it’s after all weight you lose some you gain some. As actresses, yes there are certain expectations from us. But I refuse to go under the knife, or endorse fad diets. Under any circumstance. Each one has a body type there is no set mold to fit in.”

3. She Embraces Aging

One thing Gautam does to feel comfortable with herself is embrace aging. “For some weird reason our society does not accept aging, which is a natural thing,” she says. “You cannot look like a teenager all your life and one should not push their lifestyle to an extent when u only live off soups and salads. Things like these build unwanted pressure on a lot of us and I personally know many who have had to take extreme measures and are battling depression so please be mindful. And I wud rather exit gracefully than go thru unwanted pressure and not have a life.”

4. She Swims

Gautam spends a lot of time in the water. She posted this video of herself in a pool on Instagram. Gautam captioned it, “Once a water baby, always a water baby.” Swimming.org reports that, “Swimming uses all the muscles in the body so whether you swim a gentle breaststroke or hammer butterfly, you will get a full body workout. Plus, exercising in water makes your body work harder so 30 minutes in a pool is worth 45 minutes of the same activity on land.”

5. She’s An Activist

Gautam is a supporter of animal rights. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram highlighting the cause. Gautam posted this photo for Animal Welfare Day. She also shared this post calling for less explosives during Eid celebrations. She captioned it, “The goal here is to save animals and make sure no animals are harmed. Asking to avoid loud noise explosives has become such a big issue.”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
