She Believes In Both Exercising and a Healthy Diet

Despite Michele's busy schedule, she says that she always makes time for exercise. She tells Us Weekly, "I try to work out at least twice a week. More so than that, living an active lifestyle is just incredibly important to me. Walking as much as possible and keeping yourself active, whether or not I can get to a SoulCycle class. If I can't then I'll make sure I can get to a hike or something."

When it comes to her diet, Michele tells Us Weekly that she doesn't eat junk food or anything unhealthy. "Every single thing that I put into my body is to nourish and fuel my body. I've always felt that food is fuel so what you're eating is going to help your body. So I don't eat junk food, I don't eat processed food. I keep only fresh and healthy ingredients in my home so I can feel my absolute best."

Michele tells Us Weekly that she likes to drink lemon water in the mornings. "The first thing I do when I wake up is, I pour a big glass of lemon water to just really flush my system and start the day right," she says. "How much to drink and when is dependent on each individual. The general rule of thumb at this point among physicians is to drink to thirst. Although there are guidelines for hydration before, during, and after exercise, look and listen to your body as the best indicator when you need hydration," says the Mayo Clinic. In other words: "Rather than planning out arbitrary amounts of fluids during your workout, your body is the best indicator when you need hydration. Drink when you're thirsty."
