She Works Her Glutes
One way to work your glutes is through a plank. "Planks are a great core workout because you keep a neutral spine throughout the process," exercise physiologist Katie Lawton tells the Cleveland Clinic. "And you're engaging several parts of your body. There's upper body strength, glute strength and some lower body strength involved."
She Consumes Turmeric
Madison ingests turmeric after workouts. "Turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory compounds called curcuminoids, and these curcuminoids have been associated with a positive effect on various diseases," says Anya Guy, a Mayo Clinic dietitian. Those diseases include Type 2 diabetes, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease and cancer.
She Eliminated Artificial Sugars
As part of one diet plan, Madison eliminated artificial sweeteners. "Natural sweeteners are generally safe. But there's no health advantage to consuming any particular type of added sugar," says the Mayo Clinic. "Consuming too much added sugar, even natural sweeteners, can lead to health problems, such as tooth decay, weight gain, poor nutrition and increased triglycerides. Honey can contain small amounts of bacterial spores that can produce botulism toxin. Honey shouldn't be given to children younger than than 1 year old."
She Does Lunges and Squats
Madison has teamed with Gunnarmade for a Madmade workout series guaranteed to torch fat and build muscle. One sample workout:
Warm up – Jump Rope 3 minutes
Dumbbell Alternating Reverse Lunges 20
Dumbbell Bent-over Swings 15
Jump Squat 20
Dumbbell Tricep Extension 15
Weighted Half Burpee 12
She Has Had Plastic Surgery and is Not Ashamed of It
"Plastic surgery. Two words I hadn't given much thought to. I never thought I would need, much less want, plastic surgery. However, after giving birth to an 10lb [sic] baby eight years ago, I no longer felt confident in my own skin," Madison began. "I've always been fitness obsessed and aware of what I was eating but sometimes, no matter how much you diet and exercise, there are areas that don't quite bounce back to where they were originally." She added: "Recently I was introduced to Dr. Patrick O'Neill and he gave me my confidence back and transformed the parts of my body that I was most self-conscious about. Women should never be shamed for doing anything that makes themselves more confident or love themselves more."
