Molly Rainford first made waves at 11 years old, when she appeared on Britain's Got Talent. She later went on to launch a successful singing career, even playing the title character in the musical TV series, Nova Jones. Recently, Rainford was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, reaching the finale. She's currently on vacation in Barbados, and shared a new set of photos on Instagram. She Goes After What She Wants

Rainford opened up about her career to Wonderland Magazine. She says that the pandemic made her want to go after new opportunities, like auditioning for Nova Jones. "I think with everything that happened, it made me realise that if I enjoy something I should just go ahead and do it," she says. "I love music and I love making music and being an artist, but acting and drama have also been something that I really enjoyed, so when the opportunity came up to do some self tape auditions and auditions over Zoom, I jumped at the opportunity."

She Doesn't Rush Things

Rainford opened up about how her mindset has changed in her Wonderland Magazine interview. She says that she is taking things slow when it comes to her career, and is letting things happen on their own pace. "I think the biggest thing I've learnt is that everyone's journey is different. Whether you're just starting now, or been in it for a while, you shouldn't rush things."

She Focuses On Herself

Rainford isn't comparing herself to others and is focusing on herself. "You should really work on yourself and your craft," she tells Wonderland Magazine. "Just enjoy every moment because it's so much fun when you get to do something you love. So just take it all in."

She's Not Trying To Be Perfect

Prior to appearing on Strictly, Rainford talked about her approach to the show in an interview with BBC One. She says that she didn't want to put too much pressure on herself to be perfect and just enjoy herself on the show. "I can be a perfectionist. So trying not to stress too much about one specific thing, and worry about the overall product. I've heard from others that simplicity is key."

She Goes To The Beach

Rainford loves to spend time by the water. She and her Strictly co-star, Fleur East, decided to take a beach vacation together to Barbados. Rainford shared this photo on Instagram of the two of them by the water. She captioned it, "From the ballroom to the beach." MedIndia reports that going to the beach can have a positive impact on your mindset and wellbeing. "Listening to the waves crash against the shore calms brain activity, and the color blue offers a sense of relaxation, serenity, and peace, thereby releasing hormones such as dopamine and serotonin to reduce your stress levels. So, make sure to wash away your stress levels at the seaside."
