She Speaks Up For Herself

Smith isn't afraid to stand up for herself. Especially when she gets comments on her body. After being body shamed, Smith hit back on her Instagram stories. "BODY SHAMING," she writes. "I've had a few comments about being 'too skinny'… That I need to eat more etc… I've actually never been so healthy. Telling someone they're too skinny isn't ok, no one knows the background of that person.

She Works With A Personal Trainer

In her Instagram stories, Smith opened up about her wellness routine. She says that she likes to do sessions with a personal trainer. "I work hard at the gym," she says. "And enjoy my workouts and PT's with @zakmason__(even though I annoy him) and I'm so appreciative of how hard he pushes me and helps me."

She Works With A Nutritionist

Smith doesn't just turn to professional help with her fitness. She also likes to turn to help for her diet. In her Instagram stories, she says that she works with a nutritionist to help her stay healthy. "Also @francisdiet has helped me to understand food and maintain a healthier lifestyle," she says. "I've actually never eaten so much."

She Does HIIT

Smith shares a lot of her favorite workouts. One thing she likes to do is high-intensity interval training, or HIIT. Smith appeared in this workout YouTube video for The HIIT Company. "There are four rounds with a brutal finisher," she describes at the beginning of the video. Ace Fitness states that HIIT has a lot of benefits. "Anaerobic interval training uses the body's reserves of energy and, after a workout, metabolism stays elevated and continues to burn calories for hours after the workout. This is due to something called the excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) effect. With HIIT, you not only burn a lot of calories during the workout, but because of the high intensity you will continue to burn calories as your body replaces energy and repairs muscle proteins damaged during exercise."

She Does Box Exercises

Smith uses a lot of equipment when she works out. One thing she likes to use are boxes and platforms. In her HIIT video, Smith is seen doing all her exercises with a platform on each side. She is seen doing traditional workouts like box jumps, squat jumps, and lateral twists. She also uses them for burpees and sprints.
