Mouni Roy, star of the Naagin series, Gold, Romeo Akbar Walter and the forthcoming superhero smash Brahmāstra, loves to go to the beach, and she loves to post photos of her time on Instagram. Roy just posted a stunning photo of herself enjoying a beach day. In it, she wore a large sun hat, and a brown bathing suit, looking every bit the Bollywood star. She Loves Yoga

Roy is a big fan of practicing yoga as a way to stay in shape. She encouraged others to start practicing yoga on this Instagram post. "It is so important to include yoga in daily life for a person's body, mind and soul. Start slow and steady, simple things, what your body can adapt quickly, slowly you'll see your body and mind asking for more. Replace the craving for bad with the good. Slow & steady. One tiny change at a time."

She Practices Meditation

In her same Instagram post, Roy revealed that in addition to yoga, she's also a fan of practicing meditation. She says that it has had a major impact on her life and wellbeing. "Can't begin to explain how yoga and meditation has helped change my mindset and in turn has brought a positive impact on my body." She also tells Pinkvilla that she does a lot of meditation each day. "I usually like to meditate a little for seven to ten minutes, warning there's a lot of meditation each day."

She Starts Her Day With Water

In her video with Pinkvilla, Roy broke down her daily routine. She says that the first thing she does when she wakes up is have a glass of water. "The first thing I do is have water. I just have lots of of water, then freshen up a little bit." Many people like to start their day with water as it keeps them hydrated, and clears out their system from the previous day.

She Has No Time For Social Media Haters

It can be difficult to be in the public eye, especially when it comes to dealing with criticisim on social media. However, Roy says that she ignores all the hate. She shared a quote on Instagram about how to deal with criticism. Roy says that this quote really stuck with her, and wrote in the caption, "Only if we understood the difference between criticism & helping, running someone down with gossip & truly caring; our hearts & minds would be lovelier and not just our communities."

She Eats Almonds Soaked In Water

In this video with Pinkvilla, Roy broke down some of her wellness secrets, specifically, what she eats each day. Roy says that she tries to eat healthy each day. She revealed that she loves almonds, and prepares them in a unique way to make them healthier. "Make sure that you soak your almond in water." "All nuts contain fiber, which helps lower your cholesterol. Fiber also makes you feel full, so you eat less. In addition, fiber is thought to play a role in preventing type 2 diabetes," says the Mayo Clinic. "Vitamin E may help stop the development of plaques in your arteries, which can narrow them. Plaque development in your arteries can lead to chest pain, coronary artery disease or a heart attack."
