Nicole Ari Parker, the Younger and Empire star, is spending time by the beach. Instead of posting photos on Instagram, she made a whole video of photos for her followers. In it, Parker waded in the water. She wore a black one piece swimsuit with gold hooks for straps. She captioned the post, “It all comes together in the end.” How does she stay fit? 1. She Circuit Trains

Parker revealed some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that she likes to circuit train, because of her busy schedule. “My workout circuits are easy, you can do them in hotel rooms in your pajamas,” she says. “Ten lunges, 10 pushups, jumping jacks four times.”

2. She Uses A Waist Trainer

In her Us Weekly interview, Parker revealed some of her favorite wellness and workout products. She says that because of her busy schedule, she doesn’t always have time to workout. She says that waist training has helped her stay in shape when she’s not exercising. “I discovered the McDavid Waist Trainer Ab Belt through [trainer] Alicia Marie. She told me about this Velcro belt that you wear all the time and it helps you keep your stomach contracted while you’re driving and running errands or working out. So my posture is always great, and I’m activating my abs even when I’m just driving my kids around.”

3. She Uses A Face Roller

Parker has amazing skin, and revealed one of her favorite products to Us Weekly. “The jade face roller is an attempt to keep my skin tight and beautiful without going under the knife. I am trying to find every possible thing to do that. I found this roller on a beauty blog. I like to keep it in the fridge and use it when I watch my favorite show. I make it work all together I’m a mother of two so finding time for beauty can be tough! I also have the SK-II mask — it is great for after working out.”

4. She Takes Collagen and Vitamin C

Parker revealed her favorite supplements to Us Weekly. She says that she has discovered that a combination of collagen and vitamin C helped her best. “Some people say the collagen doesn’t work, some people say it does. I love that the Great Lakes Gelatin collagen powder I have is kosher, and I swear I can feel it in my bones and my hair. I think a lot of reasons people think their collagen powder isn’t working, is you have to take collagen with pure vitamin C. I started taking vitamin C packets gel packets and I mix it in the water with the powder.”

5. She Does Small Workouts Each Day

Parker revealed how she dropped 20 pounds to Parade. She says that she avoids doing cleanses and excessive workouts. Instead, Parker says that she does small workouts each day and just aims to eat a healthy diet. “Instead of cramming a 20-pound weight loss into a 30-day juice fast, I realized that if I eat right and dedicate 15 minutes of every day to my workout, the weeks go by and the weight falls off.”

Danielle Nicolet, star of The Flash, is missing the summertime. And she’s missing the times when she gets to wear swimsuits. She just posted a new photo on Instagram of herself in a floral print bikini. She captioned the photo, “Still feeling all summertime and chill while it rains buckets outside, (also remembering my pre-pandemic abs. Scuze me while I go do some crunches!)” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Dani Nicolet stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Does Yoga

One of the ways Nicolet stays in shape is by practicing yoga. She recently posted this photo on Instagram of herself doing a leg extension pose on the beach. Nicolet captioned the photo, “Springtime is coming. Got me feelin’ groovy.” Yoga really can improve your mood. "Prepost results indicate that both interventions represent an effective therapeutic approach in reducing anxiety and stress levels. However, there was a tendency toward a greater effectiveness of the Yoga Nidra intervention regarding anxiety, which might represent an effective tool in reducing both cognitive and physiological symptoms of anxiety," said one study.

2. She Wants To Inspire Other Black Actors

In an interview with KISH Magazine, Nicolet opened up about the struggles she has faced as a black actress. She also says that she wants to use her experiences to help other young black actors. “I have experienced a lot of challenges as a black actress. I started off really young. There were a lot of things I didn’t know. I didn’t know that there’s a whole separate set of baggage that comes along as a black actress in this industry. It’s hard enough to pursue your creative vision in any way in this industry, but when you are young and black, no one says to you, ‘Oh and by the way. It means that people won’t take you seriously.' ...As an adult now, and as an experienced actress who doesn’t have to face as many of those challenges, I try and take on the responsibility of protecting younger actors and actresses from that, and shielding them and educate them.”

3. She Speaks Out

Step Up Inspiration AwardsAraya Doheny/Getty Images

Nicolet has never been afraid to speak out about issues and causes. During the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement in June 2020, Nicolet posted several photos supporting the movement on Instagram. On one post, she announced that she had posted a link of charities and resources that her followers could donate to. She captioned the post, “Use it. Share it. Be safe. We’re in this together.”

4. She Let Her Childhood Push Her Towards Acting

Nicolet tells KISH Magazine that her childhood is what gave her the idea to pursue acting and gave her the motivation to keep her career going. “I think what inspired me to be an actress is having had an unconventional childhood. I think I was drawn to acting as my spirit’s way to express itself creatively. It gave me someplace to put all of these sort of strange things that happened in my life. It let me use my imagination to process them, and make them useful…to make some sense of it all.”

5. She’s Inspired By Her Family

Step Up Inspiration Awards - ArrivalsJon Kopaloff/Getty Images

In an interview with New You Media, Nicolet revealed some of her biggest inspirations. She said that she is heavily inspired by members of her family. “I have a really amazing group of girlfriends who inspire me to stay grounded, and do the best that I can with everything. My grandmother inspires me. Most of all, my dad, who is battling cancer right now, is the biggest inspiration in the world. Cuz I can't believe how well he's handling it and how strong he's staying for me.”

6. She Believes In A Balanced Diet

In her interview with New You Media, Nicolet revealed her approach to food. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet, and saves her indulgence days for the weekends. “I'm all about eating right, and then on Sunday it's just copious amounts of wine because you have to balance it out.”

The Real Housewives of Miami star and anesthesiologist, Dr. Nicole Martin, is missing vacation days. (Even though she lives in Miami!) Martin posted a stunning new photo on Instagram of herself lounging on a van at the beach. She wore a dark bikini top and a multicolored skirt to cover-up. "Take me back" she captioned it, with a palm tree emoji, adding the hashtags #backtowork #vacationisover #mondaze. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Dr. Nicole Martin stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing-Suit Photos!

1. She Wants To Inspire Others

Martin told The List that she was approached by a friend who works in television to be a cast member on The Real Housewives of Miami. While she was ambivalent at first, she agreed to appear on the show to share her story with viewers. “At first, I was like, ‘You're crazy. This is not for me,’ but then she made a lot of really interesting points. She pointed out, ‘You've had a really unique upbringing, you've overcome so many challenges, and it's something that's really inspiring to young people. And there aren't a lot of very glamorous young women that children can look up to nowadays. It's a lot of influencers and people on social media and everything always looks really glamorous, but your story is challenging. And if you have the courage to share that with people, you can really inspire women to overcome anything.’"

2. She’s At Peace With Her Past

Chalk Experiences Presents Art Gives Back Sponsored by M2B Growth Enterprises and Integrum WorldwideJason Koerner/Getty Images

When Martin shared her story with her cast members, she said to The List that the moment helped her accept her past and make peace with it. “We're talking about years of repressed feelings and emotions that I'd never really dealt with before. And being on the show put this pressure on me to deal with the elephant that was sitting in the room for so many years, and so I'm very thankful for the opportunity that forced me to address these kind of repressed issues that have been sitting around for years, that I probably would've never dealt with, had it not been for the show and my son.”

3. She’s Organized

Martin has a lot on her plate. From filming Real Housewives, to her career as an anesthesiologist, to her family, she has a lot of things to do. However, she tells E! News that she stays organized, and is able to get everything done. "As a full-time anesthesiologist, busy mom, and new cast member on the Real Housewives of Miami, time is tight, but if you stay organized, set specific, achievable goals you'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish!"

4. She Loves Foam Rollers

Fitness,Concept.,Close,Up,Of,Woman,Relaxing,After,Workout,OnShutterstock

Martin revealed some of her favorite essential life and wellness products with E! News. One of her favorites is the TriggerPoint Foam Roller. Martin says that she loves to use this each morning, especially after exercising. "Call it part of the aging process or postpartum body changes, but my hips and backs hurt! I've found that stretching and foam rolling really help loosen my muscles. Just a few minutes in the morning have made a huge difference, especially after a heavy workout.”

5. She Owns A Portable Blender

Another of Martin’s essential products that she shared with E! News was a portable blender from BlendJet. She says that this comes in handy when she’s on the road, and it helps her eat healthy. "With traveling usually comes all the delicious (not so healthy) food and drinks. Even on the road, I try to make clean decisions when it comes to food. If getting healthier is one of your goals, a portable blender is a great idea.”

Nicole Scherzinger is kicking off the first day of summer in her swimsuit! The 43-year-old flaunts her famously fit figure in her latest social media post, sharing a bunch of photos of herself. “Summer is officially here,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the star manage to look half her age at 43? 1. She Takes Ice Baths

On The Ellen Show, Scherzinger revealed she loves taking ice baths. “I love ice baths, it’s so good for your body but for me, it sharpens the mind like iron,' she said. 'It’s all mental for me, I have to put on some music and go into a zone,” she said. "Cold water immersion involves people immersing themselves in water at temperatures of less than 15°C to manage muscle soreness after exercise and speed up recovery time. There is some evidence to show that cold-water immersion reduces muscle soreness at 24-72 hours after exercise compared with ‘passive’ treatment, or rest. It is here that the research falls down slightly by not comparing the use of cold-water immersion to an active recovery of light exercise, or perhaps even more pertinently, a combination of the two," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She “Sexercises” with Her Boyfriend

On The Ellen Show, she discussed her “sexercise” workouts with her boyfriend. “Do you know what I love about this in the videos?” she said about the sexy workout videos she posts. “We go like this, because he’s a control freak and I’m a control freak, but in the videos we're really happy and really cute. He loves to work out, he keeps me motivated, and I motivate us on the videos.”

3. She Works Out a Lot

Nicole is totally committed to fitness. "In a typical workout I would run on the treadmill maybe 20 mins, then try to do some squats, some sit-ups on the exercise ball, some yoga stretches," she told Women's Health UK. “When I’m home I like to take a spinning class called Soul Cycle or I like to do hot yoga—a modified version of bikram yoga—or hiking, and core power yoga in LA.”

4. She Refuses to Starve Herself

Nicole eats herself skinny. "For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I’m going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps - salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots,” she told Women’s Health.

5. She Has Lots of Workout Buddies

In addition to her boyfriend, Nicole has lots of workout support. "Me and my girlfriends support each other for the gym. Because, you know, it’s hard to be motivated sometimes, so when you go you push each other, - we try to do different things,” she explained to Women’s Health UK. "We’ll go hiking one day and then we’ll try a sculpting hot yoga class, then we’ll do a cardio. We just motivate each other."

1. She Says Your Potential is Limitless

Often using social media to build a community of like-minded friends and fans, Nicole showed off her body during a photo of her on social media on a hike."Don't let others put you in a box,” she said. “You're [sic] potential is limitless." Sometimes, you just need a little support to get your workout in. That goes for the stars, too. "You're not in this alone. Invite friends or co-workers to join you when you exercise or go on walks. Work out with your partner or other loved ones. Play soccer with your kids. Organize a group of neighbors to take fitness classes at a local health club or work out together virtually on video," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. She Pushes Herself

Nicole is dialed in and totally focused on creating a fit and active lifestyle, while documenting it all over social media to inspire others. The workout videos of her using the rope for exercises to tone her arms got a lot of attention. The Pussycat Doll could tell that she was going at it full throttle on the ropes as she wrote in the caption, "today's a bad day to be these ropes." In one study, basketball players who used battle ropes "exhibited significant improvements in AC (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run laps: 17.6%), upper-body AnP (mean power: 7.3%), upper-body power (basketball chest pass speed: 4.8%), lower-body power (jump height: 2.6%), core muscle endurance (flexion: 37.0%, extension: 22.8%, and right side bridge: 23.0%), and shooting accuracy (free throw: 14.0% and dynamic shooting: 36.2%)."

3. She’s Battled Bulimia and Now Lives A Healthy Lifestyle

Battling bulimia in the past, it’s really special to see that she’s come such a long way and developed a healthy relationship with food. “You can recover and you can get rid of it forever,” she said. “I did it and that’s why it’s so important for me to share my story…you hide it from the world, you isolate yourself. But you can beat it-do not give up, because you’re so special and you’re meant for such great things.”

4. She Eats Nutritious Foods

Healthy,Breakfast.,Whole,Wheat,Toasted,Bread,With,Avocado,,Poached,Egg,Shutterstock

Often involving carbs, vegetables, healthy fats, and protein, Nicole doesn’t shy away from carbs. In fact, she embraces them. An average breakfast for her includes avocado toast with poached runny eggs and smoked salmon, plenty of healthy fats and carbs involved there. "One serving of a medium avocado is low in carbohydrates, yet it contains three grams of fiber," Toby Smithson, MS, RDN, CDE, of DiabetesEveryDay and author of Diabetes Meal Planning and Nutrition, tells our sister site Eat This, Not That! "Consuming higher fiber may reduce the risk of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity."

5. She Always Has Time For Cardio

She always makes time for cardio and really prioritizes it within her workout routines. To break a sweat through cardio, she’ll take spinning classes at SoulCycle, go hiking in Hollywood, or use the treadmill to get her heart rate pumping.

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”

Brandi Glanville has never been one to hold back, whether on reality TV or her unfiltered podcast. Best known for her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the US and UK versions of Celebrity Big Brother, and The Traitors, Glanville always speaks her mind. Her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, recently stirred up some drama when she called out Real Housewives stars for struggling on The Traitors and suggested the show stop casting them. Many fans saw this as subtle shade toward Phaedra Parks, who excelled in the previous season.

Beyond the headlines, Glanville has shared glimpses into her personal wellness routine, from skincare secrets to unconventional self-care methods. Here’s a look at how she stays feeling and looking her best.

She Uses Eye Patches

One thing that Glanville does to take care of her skin is use under-eye patches. In this Instagram post, she revealed the brand she used on Celebrity Big Brother. Glanville captioned it, “One of the #1 questions we get from fans since leaving #bigbrother is what brand of under eye patches were we wearing constantly on the show...The answer is @peterthomasrothofficial!! They are amaze! #ThanksMarissa 💋 (Blogging about all the products, will be posting on @bbeautyunfltrd soon).”

She Walks

Brandi is seen walking her dog

Brandi Glanville/Instagram

Glanville likes to walk her dogs to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her pup walking in Los Angeles. Glanville captioned the post, “On our way to do some podcasting.” Harvard Health says that walking is very beneficial. “Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder.”

She Has A Dog

As you can see from the previous Instagram post, Glanville has pet dogs. And according to Harvard Health, this can be beneficial. “A growing body of solid research shows that owning a dog can: provide companionship, help you be more active, make kids calmer, more secure, and more responsible, improve the lives of older individuals, help you be calmer, more mindful, and more present in your life, make you more social and less isolated, ease stress.”

She Worked With A Breath Coach

Glanville revealed to Us Weekly that she works with a breath coach to help with her mental health. “I’m still doing cosmetic stuff, but at the same time trying to fix myself. I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there. I just started with this journey, but I can actually do things. My body can do things now that I couldn’t do five years ago.”

She Uses CellSound

Glanville revealed to People that she used the CellSound treatment on her stomach. "I mean, to be honest, I haven't worn a crop top in years, and I literally feel comfortable going out in a crop top, which is so bizarre," she says. "Not that I feel like everyone should do that, but I can go work out with a crop top on and not feel like I have my mommy stomach and I shouldn't sit down. So it's definitely empowered me in that aspect."

While on Shadowhunters, McNamara did a lot of HIIT. "In order to do the fight scenes, I needed a lot of upper body strength because I would be holding weapons all day," she says to Women’s Health. "High intensity interval training turned out to be the perfect thing for me. I was able to keep up my cardio stamina and build upon that so I could do the fight scenes, which are basically just sprints."

McNamara tells Women’s Health that she makes sure to stay consistent with her workouts. “There were days when I was tired. There were days when the last thing I wanted to do was pick up a weight...but I just had to physically get myself there—to take a deep breath and remember why I was doing it and why I was there. I think that can go for any kind of physical goal that someone has—half the battle is the mental battle.”
