She Takes Daily Walks

Reese prioritizes daily walks for a little exercise. It's inexpensive, gives her fresh air, and helps her with her physical and mental health. According to thechalkboardmag.com, she even started a run club, admittedly more of a walking club, to keep her focused. "Physical activity, such as walking, is important for weight control because it helps you burn calories. If you add 30 minutes of brisk walking to your daily routine, you could burn about 150 more calories a day. Of course, the more you walk and the quicker your pace, the more calories you'll burn," says the Mayo Clinic.

She Spends Time in Nature

Taking things a step further, Reese will often set out into the woods to go on a more intense hike when she wants to challenge herself. The different terrain can be beneficial for various muscles in your body. It's something you can do alone to clear your mind or with some friends to catch up and socialize.

Witherspoon does a series of floor stretches with her foam roller to make sure that her muscles are kept in tip top shape. There are a lot of benefits to foam rolling, essentially giving yourself a deep tissue massage, working out the muscles. Try a foam roller on yoru upper back, says the Mayo Clinic:

"1. Lie on your back and place a foam roller underneath your mid-back. 2. Lift your hips off the oor and place your hands behind your ears to open your chest. 3. Slowly push through your heels to move yourself back and forth from your mid-back to the top of your shoulder blades. 4. Keep your spine and head aligned in a neutral position. 5. When you nd a sore spot, stop and hold the position for at least 30 seconds until you can feel the muscle relax."

She Still Has Fun

Reese seems to have a really good surrounding support system of friends and family and she loves hosting pool parties and get togethers. At those parties, she'll sometimes relax a little with some of her favorite southern foods. That could include fried chicken, fried okra, squash casserole, and more. She doesn't deprive herself, but loves to include veggies. Everything in moderation, if she indulges one day she also really loves green smoothies and veggie packed meals. It's about balance.
