ET Canada host Sangita Patel is hitting back at body shamers and other haters. And she's doing so in a bikini. Patel posted a new photo on Instagram of herself walking in the ocean, with some hateful comments she'd received on her body in the photo. Patel wore a blue bikini, showing off her abs, and proving that those comments were ridiculous. She captioned the photo, "Honestly…you would think ppl would learn the value of kindness after the last few years. This is a note to all women of all ages, sizes, WOC, live your Effin best life." She Loves Muay Thai

Patel broke down her fitness secrets to Strong Fitness Magazine. She admits that she's not a big fan of cardio workouts, but still does them. Patel says that she found a cardio exercise that she really likes in particular: Muay Thai. "It's just been such a blast doing it. It's like you're taking all of that negative energy out of you and letting it all go."

She Does Full-Body Workouts At Home

Patel doesn't always have time to go to the gym, and do workouts that target specific things. However, she still manages to stay active when she isn't at the gym. She tells Strong Fitness that her solution is doing full-body exercises at home. "When I don't have time to do just upper body or lower body, I do a full-body movement," she says.

She Does CrossFit In The Mornings

Patel reveals to Strong Fitness that she and her husband do CrossFit each morning. "It's something that just is a ritual, like this morning, with [daylight savings time], I still woke up and went to the gym even though I had to drag myself out of bed," she says. "It's just something that I don't even question anymore. So I've come to that point where fitness not only makes me feel great, but it's part of life."

She Gets Hyped to Loud Music

Patel tells Canadian Living that one thing that helps her workout is music. She says that she has a favorite track in particular. "I love loud music. Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' is one of my favourite songs to work out to."

She's Confident in Herself

In her most recent Instagram post, Patel revealed that she has a lot of confidence in herself and body-positivity. "A few years ago, I learned a hard lesson that you need to let go with what others think of you, and live your authentic self, (their opinion of you is none of your business) and use your voice to help others – be it to bring joy, inspire, break barriers…it's been liberating and just a lot of fun."
