Laura prioritizes sleep. She goes to sleep "around 11 pm" and wakes up at 8am. "It varies as my schedule is all over the place – and most of the time I'm really jetlagged," she told Elle UK. "I love mornings but it's always a struggle to wake up." "We have solid evidence that exercise does, in fact, help you fall asleep more quickly and improves sleep quality," says Charlene Gamaldo, M.D. , medical director of Johns Hopkins Center for Sleep at Howard County General Hospital. "But there's still some debate as to what time of day you should exercise. I encourage people to listen to their bodies to see how well they sleep in response to when they work out," she told Hopkins Medicine.

"I feel happiest when…I see friends, eat pasta and drink wine. Being with people I love is so important to me," Laura told Elle. While she eats healthy most of the time, she allows herself to indulge. "For me, diet is about moderation. I work out, but I love cheese, pasta and wine," she added to The Skincare Edit.

Laura's exercise routine "varies," she told Elle. "I have phases of training loads, then I lose interest." She added to The Skincare Edit that Dogpound and SoulCycle are two of her favorite workouts. "In New York, I would go to the Dogpound. In L.A., I go to SoulCycle and barre class and hot yoga, but I bounce around. Also, I've been travelling so much that it's hard to keep anything together. I downloaded the Nike app to work out while I travel, and I think I did it once," she said.

She Takes Probiotics

Laura starts the day with a shot…of probiotics. "Bio-K Plus probiotic yogurt shots – I take them first thing in the morning for digestion," she told Elle. "Some digestive disease specialists are recommending probiotic supplements for disorders that frustrate conventional medicine, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Since the mid-1990s, clinical studies suggest that probiotic therapy can help treat several gastrointestinal ills, delay the development of allergies in children, and treat and prevent vaginal and urinary infections in women," says Harvard Health.

She Hydrates

Laura emphasized that when it comes to health "It's all so connected," and hydration is a key part of it. "If I do my yoga and drink tons of water and center myself with friends and family, then I notice my body tends to calm down. Sometimes—not always—my skin will fall in step," she told The Skincare Edit.
