In a new video shared to her Instagram account, the actress gives fans a sneak peek at the simple but hardcore workout, which includes light weights and ankle weights and circuits that consists of different types of lunges, squats and lifts.

She also explained to fans why being sore post-workout is a good thing. “I see results, I get fired up. Cause I know things are working. When you’re sore, don’t be discouraged. Sore means something is happening. Sore means things are happening. Fat is burning. Muscles are building. So you should want to be sore. You should hunger for that sore. Cause that’s when your body is going to change,” she says in the clip.

Per the website where fans can sign up for the challenge, a monthly fee will get your exclusive video and training content. “You will be using the same full-body exercises and nutrition plan designed to build Taraji's trademark figure,” it reads. Daily workouts are designed by Mike T himself and users get exclusive access to exercise videos and content, all modifiable for use at the gym or from home. It also includes scientifically backed diet and nutrition tips to help maximize results.

Over the weekend, Taraji shared a photo flaunting her own results, looking incredibly fit and curvy while rocking a string bikini in front of the mirror.

What does she eat to fuel her workotus? "I try to do my proteins. When I want a salt taste, I'll do boiled eggs with my fermented vegetables. When I want a sweet taste, I'll grab a Special K protein bar or protein shake. I just want to make healthier choices. I had a health scare and I want to live. My health scare came from me not eating right. You think just because you're small and you work out that everything is coming up roses, until you take a look inside. There are so many things that we eat that are bad for us — hormones in animals — that affect you. Coffee on an empty stomach — who knew it could kill you? I know now," she told the Cut.

To enlist in Taraji’s challenge, head on over to the website. Currently the 30-day program is on sale for $89.

2021 CMT Music Awards - Red CarpetGetty Images

Country darling Carrie Underwood ditched calorie counting and instead started keeping track of macros. “I would ‘fall off the wagon,’ then feel terrible and repeat the cycle,” she explained to Women’s Health about her struggles with trying to stay slim in her younger years, sometimes eating as few as 800 calories per day. “Your body is screaming ‘I need more calories. I need more carbs!’" The “wannabe vegan” works with nutritionist Cara Clark, focusing on maintaining a healthy balance of 25 percent protein, 45 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. Jennifer Lopez has adapted her fitness regiment over the years. However, instead of working out more, she is smarter about her workouts. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now. It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter,” she told InStyle. “And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!"

"I need someone telling me what to do, and I love being in a group environment because I'm very competitive, so it pushes me to work harder than I would if I was by myself." The 32-year-old is a devotee of The Dogpound, a hardcore boot camp style studio The Dogpound she regularly visits with her friends. "HOT GIRL SUMMER IN FULL EFFECT," the gym recently wrote on Instagram, sharing a video of sweating alongside GG Magree in an intense HIIT workout.

2020 AACTA Awards Presented by Foxtel | Television Ceremony

Working out and eating right are only part of the equation to weight loss, per actress Rebel Wilson, who lost a whopping 60 pounds in less than a year. While she majorly revamped her diet and embarked on a fitness routine, it was the work she did on the instead that helped her achieve her goals. "I think because I approached it from all areas ... the biggest thing that I haven't ever worked on was the emotional side, what I suffered from, I guess, as classical emotional eating … so I really worked on that side," she told Extra.

5. Rita Ora: Focus On Strength, Not Weight Loss

Instead of trying to lose weight or get to a certain clothing size, Rita Ora suggests putting your focus on getting stronger. "I didn't start working out to get skinnier—I started working out to feel better. And I think it's important for women to know that,” she told Shape. “Don't be obsessed with being thin. You just have to be fit, healthy, and strong," she said. "I love my shape because it's curvy. I have thighs. I'm a size 28 in jeans. And that's an average, normal size. I'm proud that I'm normal."

He started off by setting her goal at 6,000 steps and then eventually upping it to 14,000. "It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever. That's why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise,” he told E! about the weight loss strategy he developed for the star, which also included healthy eating, sleep, and full body workouts. “Woke up before all 3 kiddos to get my steps in and spend time with me, myself, and I. Move move move for your own mental health,” she captioned a 2020 Instagram post.

FOX's The Masked Singer - Season FiveGetty Images

"For breakfast I love eggs and toast and smoked salmon or bacon, or porridge. For lunch I like maybe some soup or some sushi. For dinner, anything from pasta to rice, and meats and veggies, to sushi. When I'm going to indulge, I love pasta, pizza, I love Mexican with lots of cheese. I love French fries, or crisps – salt and vinegar crisps. In terms of snacks: almonds, coconut water, bits of coconut, baby carrots."

10. Gabrielle Union: Don’t Commit to One Workout Only

2021 Billboard Music Awards - BackstageGetty Images

Gabrielle Union allows her workout routine to evolve. "As the workout phases come and go, I'll try everything," she previously told Women's Health. "Nothing, not one thing, has stuck. I've tried kickboxing, cardio barre, I've tried a SoulCycle class...I'm not a class person." In a 2019 Instagram post, she also revealed that her motivations for exercise are also evolving. “There are times I workout for a job or specific athletic goals but usually I workout to maintain my peace. Sometimes i grunt, grimace, scream...many times I've cried while training. I've cried due to frustration. I've cried from physical pain. Many times I've cried as my fears and anxiety leave my body. For me, I'm always working out my spirit and exercising my soul. This morning felt like the end of a week of taking Ls, but today I got up and reminded myself that even when I lose, I win because I'm committed to learning and evolving,” she wrote.

1. Halle Berry Is Devoted to Keto

93rd Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals Getty Images

Halle Berry, 54, has been a devotee of the keto diet long before it became a trend. After first being diagnosed with diabetes at 22, the former Bond girl adopted a keto-like diet and has been on it ever since. “My doctors told me I'd have to keep an eye on how I ate to stay healthy, and I took it to heart. I wanted to get off of insulin, so I decided to say goodbye to processed carbs and sugar like baked goods and white bread—and it has seriously paid off,” she wrote in an essay for Women’s Health. “For more than 15 years, eating this way has helped me manage my diabetes—but it's also given me a ton of energy and helped me maintain my weight and stay in shape.”

2. Carrie Underwood Counts Macros

Carrie Underwood used to count calories, but the “wannabe vegan” now keeps track of macros. She works with nutritionist Cara Clark, focusing on maintaining a healthy balance of 25 percent protein, 45 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. "I love rules," Underwood admits. Her diet consists of eggs (but only ones laid by chickens in her backyard), lots of fruits and veggies, Ezekiel toast, vegan meat and tofu, dark chocolate, and even red wine. "I do have my vice," she admitted to Women’s Health.

3. Jennifer Aniston Does Intermittent Fasting

Jennifer Aniston’s secret to maintaining her fabulous figure in her fifties? She skips breakfast.

"I do intermittent fasting, so there's no food in the morning," she told Radio Times (via CNBC) in 2019. "I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours." Instead of eating in the am, she sips on coffee and celery juice. And, of course, she does allow herself one “cheat day” on Sunday.

4. Beyonce Went Vegan

63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards – TelecastKevin Winter/Getty Images

Beyoncé famously ditched animal products on the 22 Days Nutrition program in preparation for her post-baby Coachella performance in 2018. She was so impressed with the physical and mental results, that she partnered up with her trainer and nutritionist, Marco Borges, on the program. “We know the power of vegetables,” Borges said in a video of Bey’s vegan journey to Coachella. “Plant-based is really about eliminating all of the overly processed foods that don’t do us any good anyways. When you’re eating plant-based you will definitely have more energy.”

During the video, the star munches on veggies while doing her thing. “It’s time to work, so I have to get in that zone, it’s like a different headspace,” she said. “Me getting the weight off was so much easier than getting back in shape and my body feeling comfortable.”

5. Jennifer Lopez Is Devoted to Clean Eating

Global Citizen VAX LIVE: The Concert To Reunite The WorldKevin Winter/Getty Images

Jennifer Lopez is the poster girl for looking fabulous in her fifties. She recently appeared on the cover of InStyle's The Beauty Issue, flaunting her rock hard swimsuit bod. "I'm in the best shape of my life," she admitted. J.Lo doesn't follow a specific diet—she makes healthy and clean eating a lifestyle. "You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat," she told Us Weekly. "It's a job— you've got to buckle down." Her trainer, Dodd Romero, revealed that her ultra-clean diet consists of five basic categories: protein, vegetables, fats, carbohydrates and water. She "stays away from processed foods and gets her nutrients from whole sources," he revealed. Egg whites, white meat turkey, chicken breast, grass-fed beef, salmon and sea bass, nuts, veggies (minus carrots and corn as they are higher in sugar than leafy greens), sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa, rice bread and oatmeal, are all on her regular menu.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”
