She Stays Active Outdoors

Tatiana maintains an active lifestyle. "I've been enjoying my time off and I've been surfing as much as possible. When I'm not surfing, I like to hangout with my friends, hike, swim, and do any physical activities that are outside," Tati told The Inertia

She Works Out

Tatiana also hits the gym. She has a trainer in both California and Hawaii. "I train as much as possible with mostly body weight. I work on balance, cardio, and fast twitch movements. I also roll and stretch as much as possible," she told The Inertia.

She Practices "Self-Discipline"

Tatiana tries to focus on self-discipline. "It's really hard to be motivated by myself, but I'm learning to have more self-discipline and make myself train at least two to three times a week," she told The Inertia.

She Maintains a Healthy Diet

"I eat as healthy as possible, and drink lots of water," Tatiana revealed to Inertia. This includes snacking healthy while traveling. "I love bringing nuts with me. They are a good source of protein and healthy fats. I love dried fruits too," she said. When she has a contest, she fuels up with healthy carbs and lots of vegetables. "One thing is for sure, I eat a lot. I have a really fast metabolism, so I definitely don't have a shortage of food before a contest. I make sure that the food I eat before competing is easy to digest so I don't wake up the next day feeling heavy."

She Has Guilty Pleasures

Tatiana treats herself! "My guilty pleasures would have to be eating sweets. Ice cream is my weakness," she told Free Surf. Ever had brain freeze? ""There are blood vessels that are inside the mouth in the back of the throat," says  Dr. Amaal Starling, a neurologist at Mayo Clinic. "And then when they are rapidly exposed to something very cold, they constrict or become smaller. And then they become larger. And when those blood vessels rapidly change size like that, it activates the pain receptors."
