Once an advocate of the Adkins diet, Kim Kardsashian has recently adapted more of a plant-based approach to diet. She Loves This Healthy Breakfast

"Guys, this is one of my favorite vegan breakfasts," she explained, showing off her colorful and delicious looking meal. "I like diced up fruit on homemade granola. Put a little bit of agave on top with almond milk. That is my jam."


She Eats Mostly Plant-Based

 In 2019, Kardashian West started eating less animal products. "I am eating all plant-based when I am home," she revealed on Instagram. In January 2021, she made the shift again. "Plant-based and two workouts a day for 30 days to get our mind and body right this year," she said in an Instagram story with her sister Khloe. 


She Works Out Almost Daily, No Excuses

Kim works out nearly every day. "I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day," Kim told E! News. "Just like anybody else, there are days where Kim's not really feeling it, but she will do it," her trainer, Melissa Alcantara told People in 2020. "Then there are a lot of days when she's killing it! She never questions the stuff that I make her do, she's just like, 'Okay,' and I love that."


Her Workouts Are Hardcore

In 2018, Kim revealed that she had started working with Alcantara. "I've been working out really hardcore with a bodybuilder for one year. September is our one-year anniversary," 37-year-old Kim told E! News, via People. The duo lift "heavy weights." Her trainer later told Women's Health that 85% of their training is done with weights. 


She Recently Started Doing More Cardio

While Kim once told E! that she doesn't "do a lot of cardio," she recently shared on Instagram that she added treadmill sprints to her routine and they have been a game-changer. "Been sprinting every day!" she wrote in an Instagram Story. "I've been seeing changes!"


She Starts Her Days Early

Kim revealed to Poosh that she wakes up incredibly early. "On a general day, I wake up at 5:45 a.m. for my workout at 6 a.m. I'll pick out my workout clothes the night before. I keep it basic and pretty much wear the same thing all the time, and then I work out for about an hour," she said. 


She Uses CBD

Kim uses CBD to help maintain her cool. "I started taking CBD, and it really changed things for me. It calms me down automatically," she told Poosh. "I think you have to take it situation by situation and really make sure that you don't overwhelm yourself and remember to do things for yourself."
