She Runs

Valeria is a runner and even competes in marathons. "The net is that sometimes one doesn't feel like running, but the landscape motivates a lot," she captioned this photo of one of her runs. In another, she revealed that she started running in 2021. "It's been a lot of dedication and definitely one of my best decisions this year," she said.

She Hikes

Valeria can also be found hiking in the mountains. "Huge gains from being able to come back," she captioned this photo from one of her treks. There are many physical health benefits of hiking, including building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

She Swims

You can also find Valeria going for swims, in the ocean or pool. "Just like when the sand burns you and you don't care because you know you're going to the sea… this is how we should live," she captioned an Instagram snap. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. She Snorkels

Valeria also loves to snorkel when she is at the beach. "As long as the lungs have air, everything can be done," she captioned this post. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

She Cheats

Valeria maintains a healthy diet but also makes sure to indulge on occasion. "I love him more than churros," she captioned this photo of her dog, a vanilla milkshake, and her favorite dessert. She also loves spaghetti. "You can find whole-grain versions of rice, bread, cereal, flour and pasta at most grocery stores," says the Mayo Clinic. "Use whole-grain pastas."
